Romans 7:2 Cross References - Darby

² For the married woman is bound by law to her husband so long as he is alive; but if the husband should die, she is clear from the law of the husband:

²³ And Man said, This time it is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh: this shall be called Woman, because this was taken out of a man. ²⁴ Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and cleave to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.

⁷ and her husband hear it and be silent at her in the day that he heareth it, then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. ⁸ But if her husband prohibit her on the day that he heareth it, and annul her vow which is upon her, and what hath passed her lips, wherewith she hath bound her soul, then Jehovah shall pardon her.

⁴ The wife has not authority over her own body, but the husband: in like manner also the husband has not authority over his own body, but the wife.

³⁹ A wife is bound for whatever time her husband lives; but if the husband be fallen asleep, she is free to be married to whom she will, only in [the] Lord.
