¹² Behold, I come quickly, and my reward with me, to render to every one as his work shall be.

¹⁰ Say ye of the righteous that it shall be well [with him], for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. ¹¹ Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill [with him], because the desert of his hands shall be rendered unto him.

¹⁰ Behold, the Lord Jehovah will come with might, and his arm shall rule for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompence before him.

¹¹ Behold, Jehovah hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompence before him.

¹⁴ The great day of Jehovah is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly. The voice of the day of Jehovah: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

²⁷ For the Son of man is about to come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will render to each according to his doings.

⁶ who shall render to each according to his works: ⁷ to them who, in patient continuance of good works, seek for glory and honour and incorruptibility, life eternal. ⁸ But to those that are contentious, and are disobedient to the truth, but obey unrighteousness, [there shall be] wrath and indignation, ⁹ tribulation and distress, on every soul of man that works evil, both of Jew first, and of Greek; ¹⁰ but glory and honour and peace to every one that works good, both to Jew first and to Greek: ¹¹ for there is no acceptance of persons with God.

¹² So then each of us shall give an account concerning himself to God.

⁸ But the planter and the waterer are one; but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

¹⁴ If the work of any one which he has built upon [the foundation] shall abide, he shall receive a reward.

¹⁷ For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward; but if not of my own will, I am entrusted with an administration. ¹⁸ What is the reward then that I have? That in announcing the glad tidings I make the glad tidings costless [to others], so as not to have made use, as belonging to me, of my right in [announcing] the glad tidings.

¹⁸ And the nations have been full of wrath, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead to be judged, and to give the recompense to thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to those who fear thy name, small and great; and to destroy those that destroy the earth.

¹² And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is [that] of life. And the dead were judged out of the things written in the books according to their works.

⁷ And behold, I come quickly. Blessed [is] he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.

²⁰ He that testifies these things says, Yea, I come quickly. Amen; come, Lord Jesus.
