¹³ I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of Jehovah.

⁵ Jehovah is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.

¹⁸ So will we not go back from thee. Revive us, and we will call upon thy name.

¹ Give ye thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; make known his acts among the peoples.

² For he hath inclined his ear unto me, and I will call upon him during [all] my days.

¹⁷ I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of Jehovah.

⁴ And in that day shall ye say, Give ye thanks to Jehovah, call upon his name, declare his deeds among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted.

¹⁷ And having received a cup, when he had given thanks he said, Take this and divide it among yourselves. ¹⁸ For I say unto you, that I will not drink at all of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God come.

²⁰ In like manner also the cup, after having supped, saying, This cup [is] the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

¹⁶ The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not [the] communion of the blood of the Christ? The bread which we break, is it not [the] communion of the body of the Christ?

²¹ Ye cannot drink [the] Lord`s cup, and [the] cup of demons: ye cannot partake of [the] Lord`s table, and of [the] table of demons.

²⁵ In like manner also the cup, after having supped, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood: this do, as often as ye shall drink [it], in remembrance of me. ²⁶ For as often as ye shall eat this bread, and drink the cup, ye announce the death of the Lord, until he come. ²⁷ So that whosoever shall eat the bread, or drink the cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty in respect of the body and of the blood of the Lord.
