¹⁶ For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone, and the place thereof knoweth it no more.

²⁴ And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

⁶ My days are swifter than a weaver`s shuttle, and are spent without hope. ⁷ Remember thou that my life is wind; mine eye shall no more see good. ⁸ The eye of him that hath seen me shall behold me no [more]: thine eyes are upon me, and I am not. ⁹ The cloud consumeth and vanisheth away; so he that goeth down to Sheol shall not come up. ¹⁰ He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place know him again.

¹⁸ If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him: I have not seen thee! ¹⁹ Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the dust shall others grow.

¹⁰ But a man dieth, and is prostrate; yea, man expireth, and where is he?

⁹ The eye which saw him shall [see him] not again; and his place beholdeth him no more.

²⁰ Terrors overtake him like waters; a whirlwind stealeth him away in the night. ²¹ The east wind carrieth him away and he is gone; and as a storm it hurleth him out of his place.

⁷ The grass withereth, the flower fadeth, for the breath of Jehovah bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
