²⁷ Prepare thy work without, and put thy field in order, and afterwards build thy house.

¹⁷ And the king commanded, and they brought great stones, costly stones, hewn stones, to lay the foundation of the house. ¹⁸ And Solomon`s builders and Hiram`s builders and the Giblites hewed them, and prepared timber and stones to build the house.

⁷ And the house, when it was being built, was built of stone entirely made ready before it was brought thither; so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house while it was being built.

²⁸ For which of you, desirous of building a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, if he have what [is needed] to complete it; ²⁹ in order that, having laid the foundation of it, and not being able to finish it, all who see it do not begin to mock at him, ³⁰ saying, This man began to build and was not able to finish?
