¹³ And they brought little children to him that he might touch them. But the disciples rebuked those that brought [them].

⁹ And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters; with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we have a feast of Jehovah. ¹⁰ And he said to them, Let Jehovah be so with you, as I let you go, and your little ones: see that evil is before you! ¹¹ Not so: go now, ye [that are] men, and serve Jehovah! for it is that ye have desired. And they were driven out from Pharaoh`s presence.

¹² Gather the people together, the men, and the women, and the children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear Jehovah your God, and take heed to do all the words of this law; ¹³ and that their children who do not know it may hear it and learn, that they may fear Jehovah your God, as long as ye live in the land, whereunto ye pass over the Jordan to possess it.

¹⁶ gather the people, hallow the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts; let the bridegroom go forth from his chamber, and the bride from her closet.

¹³ Then there were brought to him little children that he might lay his hands on them and pray; but the disciples rebuked them. ¹⁴ But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and do not hinder them from coming to me; for the kingdom of the heavens is of such: ¹⁵ and having laid his hands upon them, he departed thence.

³⁸ And John answered him saying, Teacher, we saw some one casting out demons in thy name, who does not follow us, and we forbad him, because he does not follow us.

⁴⁸ And many rebuked him, that he might be silent; but he cried so much the more, Son of David, have mercy on me.

¹⁵ And they brought to him also infants that he might touch them, but the disciples when they saw [it] rebuked them. ¹⁶ But Jesus calling them to [him] said, Suffer little children to come to me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of God. ¹⁷ Verily I say to you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
