¹¹ Ye shall not steal, and ye shall not deal falsely, and ye shall not lie one to another.

¹⁵ Thou shalt not steal.

¹⁷ Thou shalt not desire thy neighbour`s house, thou shalt not desire thy neighbour`s wife, nor his bondman, nor his handmaid, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbour`s.

¹ If a man steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it, he shall restore five oxen for the ox, and four sheep for the sheep.

⁷ -- If a man deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man`s house; if the thief be found, let him restore double;

¹⁰ If a man deliver unto his neighbour an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any cattle, to keep, and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, and no man see [it], ¹¹ an oath of Jehovah shall be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour`s goods; and the owner of it shall accept it, and he shall not make [it] good. ¹² But if it have been stolen from him, he shall make [it] good unto its owner.

² If any one sin and act unfaithfully against Jehovah, and lie to his neighbour as to an entrusted thing or a deposit or [that in which] he hath robbed or wronged his neighbour, ³ or have found what was lost, and denieth it, and sweareth falsely in anything of all that man doeth, sinning therein;

¹⁹ Neither shalt thou steal.

¹⁸ And he said to him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spoke to me by the word of Jehovah saying, Bring him back with thee into thy house, that he may eat bread and drink water. He lied unto him.

⁷ He that practiseth deceit shall not dwell within my house; he that speaketh falsehoods shall not subsist in my sight.

¹¹ I said in my haste, All men are liars.

¹³ For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them, every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest, every one dealeth falsely.

⁹ What? steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not ... ¹⁰ then ye come and stand before me, in this house which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered, -- in order to do all these abominations! ¹¹ Is this house, which is called by my name, a den of robbers in your eyes? Even I, behold, I have seen it, saith Jehovah.

³ And they bend their tongue, their bow of falsehood, and not for fidelity are they valiant in the land; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith Jehovah. ⁴ Take ye heed every one of his friend, and confide not in any brother; for every brother only supplanteth, and every friend goeth about with slander. ⁵ And they act deceitfully every one with his neighbour, and speak not the truth: they teach their tongue to speak falsehood, they weary themselves with perverse dealing.

³ And he said unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole land: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off according to it on this side; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off according to it on that side. ⁴ I will cause it to go forth, saith Jehovah of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name; and it shall lodge in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

¹⁶ These are the things that ye shall do: Speak truth every one with his neighbour; execute truth and the judgment of peace in your gates; ¹⁷ and let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are [things] that I hate, saith Jehovah.

³ But Peter said, Ananias, why has Satan filled thy heart that thou shouldest lie to the Holy Spirit, and put aside for thyself a part of the price of the estate? ⁴ While it remained did it not remain to *thee*? and sold, was [it not] in thine own power? Why is it that thou hast purposed this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied to men, but to God.

⁴ Far be the thought: but let God be true, and every man false; according as it is written, So that thou shouldest be justified in thy words, and shouldest overcome when thou art in judgment.

⁸ But *ye* do wrong, and defraud, and this [your] brethren. ⁹ Do ye not know that unrighteous [persons] shall not inherit [the] kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who make women of themselves, nor who abuse themselves with men, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor abusive persons, nor [the] rapacious, shall inherit [the] kingdom of God.

²⁵ Wherefore, having put off falsehood, speak truth every one with his neighbour, because we are members one of another.

²⁸ Let the stealer steal no more, but rather let him toil, working what is honest with [his] hands, that he may have to distribute to him that has need.

⁹ Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his deeds,

¹⁰ fornicators, sodomites, kidnappers, liars, perjurers; and if any other thing is opposed to sound teaching,

⁸ But to the fearful and unbelieving, [and sinners], and those who make themselves abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part [is] in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.
