²⁶ And he shall burn all its fat on the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him [to cleanse him] from his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

³¹ And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall burn it on the altar, for a sweet odour to Jehovah; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

³⁵ And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall burn them on the altar, with Jehovah`s offerings by fire; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.

⁷ And if his hand be not able to bring what is so much as a sheep, then he shall bring for his trespass which he hath sinned two turtle-doves or two young pigeons, to Jehovah; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering. ⁸ And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall present that which is for the sin-offering first, and pinch off his head at the neck, but shall not divide it; ⁹ and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-offering on the wall of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin-offering. ¹⁰ And he shall offer the other for a burnt-offering, according to the ordinance. And the priest shall make atonement for him [to cleanse him] from his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.

²⁸ And the earthen vessel wherein it hath been sodden shall be broken; and if it have been sodden in a copper pot, it shall be both scoured and rinsed with water.

³³ And ye shall not go out from the entrance of the tent of meeting seven days, until the day when the days of your consecration are at an end: for seven days shall ye be consecrated.

² Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman conceive seed, and bear a male, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of the separation of her infirmity shall she be unclean. ³ And on the eighth day shall the flesh of his foreskin be circumcised. ⁴ And she shall continue thirty-three days in the blood of her cleansing; no holy thing shall she touch, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her cleansing are fulfilled.

⁶ And when the days of her cleansing are fulfilled, for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring a yearling lamb for a burnt-offering, and a young pigeon or a turtle-dove for a sin-offering, to the entrance of the tent of meeting, unto the priest. ⁷ And he shall present it before Jehovah, and make atonement for her; and she shall be clean from the flux of her blood. This is the law for her that hath borne a male or a female. ⁸ And if her hand cannot find what is sufficient for a sheep, she shall bring two turtle-doves or two young pigeons; one for a burnt-offering, and the other for a sin-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for her; and she shall be clean.

⁵⁹ This is the law of the sore of leprosy in a garment of wool or linen, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, to cleanse it, or to pronounce it unclean.

² This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: he shall be brought unto the priest,

And it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, an everlasting statute. ¹¹ He that toucheth a dead person, any dead body of a man, shall be unclean seven days. ¹² He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean; but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean. ¹³ Whoever toucheth a dead person, the dead body of a man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel; for the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him: he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him. ¹⁴ This is the law, when a man dieth in a tent: every one that cometh into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

²⁰ And the man that is unclean, and doth not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from the midst of the congregation, for he hath defiled the sanctuary of Jehovah: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled on him: he is unclean.

¹³ And he shall have it, and his seed after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was jealous for his God, and made atonement for the children of Israel.

⁷ For what great nation is there that hath God near to them as Jehovah our God is in everything we call upon him for? ⁸ And what great nation is there that hath righteous statutes and ordinances, as all this law which I set before you this day?

¹⁰ If there be with thee a man that is not clean from what hath happened in the night, then shall he go outside the camp; he shall not come inside the camp; ¹¹ and it shall be, towards evening, he shall bathe in water: and at the going down of the sun he may come inside the camp.

⁸ Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou take great heed, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them shall ye take heed to do.

⁴ And the priest answered David and said, There is no common bread under my hand, but there is holy bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women. ⁵ And David answered the priest and said to him, Yes indeed, women have been kept from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and the [bread] is in a manner common, and the more so, because to-day [new] is hallowed in the vessels.

²⁹ let it fall on the head of Joab, and on all his father`s house; and let there not fail from the house of Joab one that has an issue, or that is a leper, or that leans on a staff, or that falls by the sword, or that lacks bread!

¹³ And thou camest down on mount Sinai, and didst speak with them from the heavens, and gavest them right judgments and true laws, good statutes and commandments. ¹⁴ And thou madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and prescribedst for them commandments and statutes and a law, through Moses thy servant.

⁹ Thou shalt break them with a sceptre of iron, as a potter`s vessel thou shalt dash them in pieces.

⁶ I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah,

⁷ Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

¹⁸ Had I regarded iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not hear.

⁵ For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children;

³ For the lips of the strange woman drop honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil; ⁴ but her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. ⁵ Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on Sheol. ⁶ Lest she should ponder the path of life, her ways wander, she knoweth not [whither]. ⁷ And now, children, hearken unto me, and depart not from the words of my mouth. ⁸ Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house: ⁹ lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel; ¹⁰ lest strangers be filled with thy wealth, and the fruits of thy toil [come] into the house of a stranger; ¹¹ and thou mourn in thine end, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed; ¹² and thou say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof! ¹³ and I have not hearkened unto the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to those that instructed me;

²⁴ to keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.

³⁵ he will not regard any ransom, neither will he rest content though thou multipliest [thy] gifts.

¹⁰ And behold, there met him a woman in the attire of a harlot, and subtle of heart. ¹¹ She is clamorous and unmanageable; her feet abide not in her house: ¹² now without, now in the broadways, -- and she lieth in wait at every corner. ¹³ And she caught him and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him, ¹⁴ I have peace-offerings with me; this day have I paid my vows: ¹⁵ therefore came I forth to meet thee, to seek earnestly thy face, and I have found thee. ¹⁶ I have decked my bed with tapestry coverlets of variegated linen from Egypt; ¹⁷ I have perfumed my couch with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. ¹⁸ Come, let us revel in love until the morning, let us delight ourselves with loves. ¹⁹ For the husband is not at home, he is gone a long journey; ²⁰ he hath taken the money-bag with him, he will come home on the day of the full moon. ²¹ With her much enticement she beguiled him; with the smoothness of her lips she constrained him. ²² He went after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, and as stocks [serve] for the correction of the fool; ²³ till an arrow strike through his liver: as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for its life. ²⁴ And now, ye sons, hearken unto me, and attend to the words of my mouth. ²⁵ Let not thy heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths: ²⁶ for she hath cast down many wounded, and all slain by her were strong. ²⁷ Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the chambers of death.

¹³ The foolish woman is clamorous; she is stupid, and knoweth nothing. ¹⁴ And she sitteth at the entry of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city, ¹⁵ to call passers-by who go right on their ways: ¹⁶ Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither. And to him that is void of understanding she saith, ¹⁷ Stolen waters are sweet, and the bread of secrecy is pleasant. ¹⁸ But he knoweth not that the dead are there; [that] her guests are in the depths of Sheol.

²⁷ if thou hast nothing to pay, why should he take away thy bed from under thee?

²⁶ and I found more bitter than death the woman whose heart is nets and snares, [and] whose hands are bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be caught by her.

¹⁶ Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; -- cease to do evil,

¹⁴ And it was revealed in mine ears by Jehovah of hosts: Assuredly this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord, Jehovah of hosts.

⁸ And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me, and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned against me, and whereby they have transgressed against me.

⁸ Jerusalem hath grievously sinned; therefore is she removed as an impurity: all that honoured her despise her because they have seen her nakedness; and she sigheth, and turneth backward. ⁹ Her impurity was in her skirts, she remembered not her latter end; and she came down wonderfully: she hath no comforter. Jehovah, behold my affliction; for the enemy hath magnified himself.

¹⁷ Zion spreadeth forth her hands; there is none to comfort her; Jehovah hath commanded concerning Jacob, [that] his adversaries [should be] round about him; Jerusalem is as an impurity among them.

¹¹ Wherefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, verily because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also withdraw mine eye, and it shall not spare, nor will I have any pity.

²⁶ And thou didst commit fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and didst multiply thy whoredom to provoke me to anger.

⁶ -- he hath not eaten upon the mountains, nor lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour`s wife, nor come near to a woman in her separation,

¹⁰ in thee have they discovered their fathers` nakedness; in thee have they humbled her that was unclean in her separation.

²⁰ and she lusted after their paramours, whose flesh is [as] the flesh of asses, and whose issue is [as] the issue of horses.

³⁸ Moreover this have they done unto me: in the same day have they defiled my sanctuary and profaned my sabbaths.

¹⁷ Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a woman in her separation.

²⁵ And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your uncleannesses and from all your idols will I cleanse you.

⁵ And Jehovah said unto me, Son of man, apply thy heart, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the statutes of the house of Jehovah, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary; ⁶ and say to the rebellious, to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Let it suffice you of all your abominations, O house of Israel, ⁷ in that ye have brought strangers, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to profane it, [even] my house, when ye offered my bread, the fat and the blood; and they have broken my covenant besides all your abominations.

²³ And they shall teach my people [the difference] between holy and profane, and cause them to discern between unclean and clean.

²⁷ And he shall confirm a covenant with the many [for] one week; and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and because of the protection of abominations [there shall be] a desolator, even until that the consumption and what is determined shall be poured out upon the desolate.

⁷ But the Lord Jehovah will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

¹ In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

²¹ And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for *he* shall save his people from their sins.

¹⁷ and behold, a voice out of the heavens saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I have found my delight.

²⁰ And behold, a woman, who had had a bloody flux [for] twelve years, came behind and touched the hem of his garment;

¹⁹ For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witnessings, blasphemies;

²⁵ And a certain woman who had had a flux of blood twelve years,

²⁰ And he said, That which goes forth out of the man, that defiles the man. ²¹ For from within, out of the heart of men, go forth evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, ²² thefts, covetousness, wickednesses, deceit, licentiousness, a wicked eye, injurious language, haughtiness, folly; ²³ all these wicked things go forth from within and defile the man.

⁴³ And a woman who had a flux of blood since twelve years, who, having spent all her living on physicians, could not be cured by any one,

² Much every way: and first, indeed, that to them were entrusted the oracles of God.

³⁰ But of him are *ye* in Christ Jesus, who has been made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness, and holiness, and redemption;

¹⁷ If any one corrupt the temple of God, *him* shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and such are *ye*.

¹¹ And these things were some of you; but ye have been washed, but ye have been sanctified, but ye have been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. ¹² All things are lawful to me, but all things do not profit; all things are lawful to me, but *I* will not be brought under the power of any.

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin which a man may practise is without the body, but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.

³³ Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

¹ For we know that if our earthly tabernacle house be destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

²¹ Him who knew not sin he has made sin for us, that *we* might become God`s righteousness in him.

¹ Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us purify ourselves from every pollution of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in God`s fear.

⁸ But if even *we* or an angel out of heaven announce as glad tidings to you [anything] besides what we have announced as glad tidings to you, let him be accursed. ⁹ As we have said before, now also again I say, If any one announce to you as glad tidings [anything] besides what ye have received, let him be accursed.

¹³ Christ has redeemed us out of the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, (for it is written, Cursed [is] every one hanged upon a tree,)

⁴ but when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, come of woman, come under law,

⁶ to [the] praise of [the] glory of his grace, wherein he has taken us into favour in the Beloved:

³ But fornication and all uncleanness or unbridled lust, let it not be even named among you, as it becomes saints; ⁴ and filthiness and foolish talking, or jesting, which are not convenient; but rather thanksgiving. ⁵ For this ye are [well] informed of, knowing that no fornicator, or unclean person, or person of unbridled lust, who is an idolater, has inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and God. ⁶ Let no one deceive you with vain words, for on account of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. ⁷ Be not ye therefore fellow-partakers with them; ⁸ for ye were once darkness, but now light in [the] Lord; walk as children of light, ⁹ (for the fruit of the light [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth,) ¹⁰ proving what is agreeable to the Lord; ¹¹ and do not have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather also reprove [them],

³ For this is [the] will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication; ⁴ that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honour, ⁵ (not in passionate desire, even as the nations who know not God,)

²² hold aloof from every form of wickedness.

¹ But the Spirit speaks expressly, that in latter times some shall apostatise from the faith, giving their mind to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons ² speaking lies in hypocrisy, cauterised as to their own conscience, ³ forbidding to marry, [bidding] to abstain from meats, which God has created for receiving with thanksgiving for them who are faithful and know the truth.

²² But youthful lusts flee, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those that call upon the Lord out of a pure heart.

⁹ clinging to the faithful word according to the doctrine taught, that he may be able both to encourage with sound teaching and refute gainsayers. ¹⁰ For there are many and disorderly vain speakers and deceivers of people`s minds, specially those of [the] circumcision,

¹⁵ All things [are] pure to the pure; but to the defiled and unbelieving nothing [is] pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.

¹ God having spoken in many parts and in many ways formerly to the fathers in the prophets,

³ who being [the] effulgence of his glory and [the] expression of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, having made [by himself] the purification of sins, set himself down on the right hand of the greatness on high,

²⁶ For such a high priest became us, holy, harmless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and become higher than the heavens:

¹⁴ how much rather shall the blood of the Christ, who by the eternal Spirit offered himself spotless to God, purify your conscience from dead works to worship [the] living God?

²⁶ since he had [then] been obliged often to suffer from the foundation of the world. But now once in the consummation of the ages he has been manifested for [the] putting away of sin by his sacrifice.

¹⁰ by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

¹² But *he*, having offered one sacrifice for sins, sat down in perpetuity at [the] right hand of God,

¹⁴ For by one offering he has perfected in perpetuity the sanctified.

²² let us approach with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, sprinkled as to our hearts from a wicked conscience, and washed as to our body with pure water.

²⁹ of how much worse punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and esteemed the blood of the covenant, whereby he has been sanctified, common, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

¹⁴ Pursue peace with all, and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord: ¹⁵ watching lest [there be] any one who lacks the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and many be defiled by it;

⁴ [Let] marriage [be held] every way in honour, and the bed [be] undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers will God judge.

⁸ Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse [your] hands, sinners, and purify [your] hearts, ye double-minded.

¹⁸ knowing that ye have been redeemed, not by corruptible [things, as] silver or gold, from your vain conversation handed down from [your] fathers, ¹⁹ but by precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, [the blood] of Christ,

¹¹ Beloved, I exhort [you], as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

¹ But there were false prophets also among the people, as there shall be also among you false teachers, who shall bring in by the bye destructive heresies, and deny the master that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction; ² and many shall follow their dissolute ways, through whom the way of the truth shall be blasphemed. ³ And through covetousness, with well-turned words, will they make merchandise of you: for whom judgment of old is not idle, and their destruction slumbers not.

⁷ But if we walk in the light as *he* is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.

⁴ For certain men have got in unnoticed, they who of old were marked out beforehand to this sentence, ungodly [persons], turning the grace of our God into dissoluteness, and denying our only Master and Lord Jesus Christ. ⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and has washed us from our sins in his blood,

¹⁴ And I said to him, My lord, *thou* knowest. And he said to me, These are they who come out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and have made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
