⁴⁰ For this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the Son, and believes on him, should have life eternal; and I will raise him up at the last day.

²¹ Declare and bring [them] near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath caused this to be heard from ancient time? [who] hath declared it long ago? Is it not I, Jehovah? And there is no God else beside me; a just ?God and a Saviour, there is none besides me. ²² Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] ?God, and there is none else.

¹⁰ Jehovah hath made bare his holy arm in the sight of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

² For he shall grow up before him as a tender sapling, and as a root out of dry ground: he hath no form nor lordliness, and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

¹⁶ He that believes and is baptised shall be saved, and he that disbelieves shall be condemned.

³⁰ for mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we have contemplated his glory, a glory as of an only-begotten with a father), full of grace and truth;

¹⁵ that every one who believes on him may [not perish, but] have life eternal. ¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal. ¹⁷ For God has not sent his Son into the world that he may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him. ¹⁸ He that believes on him is not judged: but he that believes not has been already judged, because he has not believed on the name of the only-begotten Son of God.

³⁶ He that believes on the Son has life eternal, and he that is not subject to the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides upon him.

¹⁴ but whosoever drinks of the water which I shall give him shall never thirst for ever, but the water which I shall give him shall become in him a fountain of water, springing up into eternal life.

²⁴ Verily, verily, I say unto you, that he that hears my word, and believes him that has sent me, has life eternal, and does not come into judgment, but is passed out of death into life.

²⁷ Work not [for] the food which perishes, but [for] the food which abides unto life eternal, which the Son of man shall give to you; for him has the Father sealed, [even] God.

³⁵ [And] Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger, and he that believes on me shall never thirst at any time. ³⁶ But I have said to you, that ye have also seen me and do not believe. ³⁷ All that the Father gives me shall come to me, and him that comes to me I will not at all cast out.

⁵⁴ He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood has life eternal, and I will raise him up at the last day:

⁵⁶ Your father Abraham exulted in that he should see my day, and he saw and rejoiced.

²⁸ and I give them life eternal; and they shall never perish, and no one shall seize them out of my hand.

²⁵ Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes on me, though he have died, shall live;

⁴⁵ and he that beholds me, beholds him that sent me.

⁵⁰ and I know that his commandment is life eternal. What therefore I speak, as the Father has said to me, so I speak.

¹⁷ the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see him nor know him; but ye know him, for he abides with you, and shall be in you.

¹⁹ Yet a little and the world sees me no longer; but ye see me; because I live ye also shall live.

² as thou hast given him authority over all flesh, that [as to] all that thou hast given to him, he should give them life eternal.

²¹ in order that, even as sin has reigned in [the power of] death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

²³ For the wages of sin [is] death; but the act of favour of God, eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁶ Because [it is] the God who spoke that out of darkness light should shine who has shone in our hearts for the shining forth of the knowledge of the glory of God in [the] face of [Jesus] Christ.

¹ Now faith is [the] substantiating of things hoped for, [the] conviction of things not seen.

²⁷ By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he persevered, as seeing him who is invisible.

⁸ whom, having not seen, ye love; on whom [though] not now looking, but believing, ye exult with joy unspeakable and filled with [the] glory,

¹ That which was from [the] beginning, that which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes; that which we contemplated, and our hands handled, concerning the word of life; ² (and the life has been manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and report to you the eternal life, which was with the Father, and has been manifested to us:) ³ that which we have seen and heard we report to you, that *ye* also may have fellowship with us; and our fellowship [is] indeed with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

²⁵ And this is the promise which *he* has promised us, life eternal.

¹¹ And this is the witness, that God has given to us eternal life; and this life is in his Son. ¹² He that has the Son has life: he that has not the Son of God has not life. ¹³ These things have I written to you that ye may know that ye have eternal life who believe on the name of the Son of God.

²¹ keep yourselves in the love of God, awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
