¹⁸ If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him: I have not seen thee!

⁸ The eye of him that hath seen me shall behold me no [more]: thine eyes are upon me, and I am not.

¹⁰ He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place know him again.

⁹ The eye which saw him shall [see him] not again; and his place beholdeth him no more.

¹⁰ For yet a little while, and the wicked is not; and thou considerest his place, but he is not.

³⁶ but he passed away, and behold, he was not; and I sought him, but he was not found.

¹⁸ Truly thou settest them in slippery places, thou castest them down in ruins. ¹⁹ How are they suddenly made desolate! they pass away, consumed with terrors.

⁷ When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish, it is that they may be destroyed for ever.
