²⁸ Which the skies pour down [and] drop upon man abundantly.

¹¹ In the six hundredth year of Noah`s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that same day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. ¹² And the pour of rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.

¹¹ Also with plentiful moisture he loadeth the thick clouds, his light dispels the cloud; ¹² And they are turned every way by his guidance, that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the circuit of the earth, ¹³ Whether he cause it to come as a rod, or for his land, or in mercy.
