⁶ The foot shall tread it down, -- the feet of the afflicted, the steps of the poor.

¹⁵ What mean ye that ye crush my people, and grind the faces of the afflicted? saith the Lord, Jehovah of hosts.

¹⁰ For in this mountain shall the hand of Jehovah rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, as straw is trodden down in the dunghill;

²⁵ I have digged and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the streams of Matsor.

¹⁴ And the children of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee The city of Jehovah, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

⁴⁵ Therefore hear the counsel of Jehovah, which he hath taken against Babylon, and his purposes which he hath purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: The little ones of the flock shall certainly draw them away; he shall certainly make their habitation desolate for them.

²⁷ But the kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heavens, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most high [places]. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

¹¹ In that day thou shalt not be ashamed for all thy doings wherein thou hast transgressed against me; for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that exult in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.

³ And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I prepare, saith Jehovah of hosts.

⁵¹ He has wrought strength with his arm; he has scattered haughty [ones] in the thought of their heart. ⁵² He has put down rulers from thrones, and exalted the lowly. ⁵³ He has filled the hungry with good things, and sent away the rich empty.

¹⁹ Behold, I give you the power of treading upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall in anywise injure you.

²⁰ But the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you.

²⁶ For consider your calling, brethren, that [there are] not many wise according to flesh, not many powerful, not many high-born.

⁵ Hear, my beloved brethren: Has not God chosen the poor as to the world, rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to them that love him?

²⁶ And he that overcomes, and he that keeps unto the end my works, to him will I give authority over the nations,

⁹ Behold, I make them of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews, and are not, but lie; behold, I will cause that they shall come and shall do homage before thy feet, and shall know that *I* have loved thee.
