² to whom Abraham gave also the tenth portion of all; first being interpreted King of righteousness, and then also King of Salem, which is King of peace;

²² And this stone, which I have set up [for] a pillar, shall be God`s house; and of all that thou wilt give me I will without fail give the tenth to thee.

³² And as to every tithe of the herd, or of the flock, of whatever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy to Jehovah.

²¹ And to the children of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithes in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they perform, the service of the tent of meeting.

¹⁵ And he will take the tenth of your seed and of your vineyards, and give to his chamberlains and to his servants.

¹⁷ He will take the tenth of your sheep. And ye shall be his servants.

¹⁵ And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice to all his people.

³ The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me, The ruler among men shall be just, Ruling in the fear of God;

²⁴ For he had dominion over all on this side the river, from Tiphsah as far as Gazah, over all the kings on this side the river; and he had peace on all sides round about. ²⁵ And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig-tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.

⁹ Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about; for his name shall be Solomon, and in his days I will give peace and quietness unto Israel.

⁴ And [in] thy splendour ride prosperously, because of truth and meekness [and] righteousness: and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. ⁵ Thine arrows are sharp -- peoples fall under thee -- in the heart of the king`s enemies. ⁶ Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; a sceptre of uprightness is the sceptre of thy kingdom: ⁷ Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness; therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy companions.

¹ {For Solomon.} O God, give the king thy judgments, and thy righteousness unto the king`s son. ² He will judge thy people with righteousness, and thine afflicted with judgment. ³ The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the hills, by righteousness.

⁷ In his days shall the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace till the moon be no more.

¹⁰ Loving-kindness and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other: ¹¹ Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from the heavens.

⁶ For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name is called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty ?God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace. ⁷ Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with judgment and with righteousness, from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

¹ Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. ² And a man shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the storm; as brooks of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.

²² Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] ?God, and there is none else. ²³ I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. ²⁴ Only in Jehovah, shall one say, have I righteousness and strength. To him shall [men] come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. ²⁵ In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

⁵ Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, when I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, who shall reign as king, and act wisely, and shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. ⁶ In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell in safety; and this is his name whereby he shall be called, Jehovah our Righteousness.

¹⁵ In those days, and at that time, will I cause a Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. ¹⁶ In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell in safety. And this is the name wherewith she shall be called: Jehovah our Righteousness.

⁵ And this [man] shall be Peace. When the Assyrian shall come into our land, and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight princes of men.

¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good pleasure in men.

²⁶ for [the] shewing forth of his righteousness in the present time, so that he should be just, and justify him that is of [the] faith of Jesus.

¹ Therefore having been justified on the principle of faith, we have peace towards God through our Lord Jesus Christ; ² by whom we have also access by faith into this favour in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God.

¹⁴ For *he* is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of enclosure, ¹⁵ having annulled the enmity in his flesh, the law of commandments in ordinances, that he might form the two in himself into one new man, making peace; ¹⁶ and might reconcile both in one body to God by the cross, having by it slain the enmity; ¹⁷ and, coming, he has preached the glad tidings of peace to you who [were] afar off, and [the glad tidings of] peace to those [who were] nigh. ¹⁸ For through him we have both access by one Spirit to the Father.
