²² And Ham the father of Canaan saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren outside.

²⁵ And he said, Cursed be Canaan; Let him be a bondman of bondmen to his brethren.

⁶ And the sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

¹⁵ -- And Canaan begot Sidon, his firstborn, and Heth, ¹⁶ and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite, ¹⁷ and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite, ¹⁸ and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. And afterwards the families of the Canaanites spread themselves abroad. ¹⁹ And the border of the Canaanite was from Sidon, as one goes to Gerar, up to Gazah; as one goes to Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, up to Lesha.

¹⁹ The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen! ²⁰ Tell [it] not in Gath, carry not the tidings in the streets of Ashkelon; Lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, Lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.

¹⁵ Let them be desolate, because of their shame, that say unto me, Aha! Aha!

³ Let them turn back because of their shame that say, Aha! Aha!

⁹ Debate thy cause with thy neighbour, but reveal not the secret of another;

¹⁷ The eye that mocketh at a father, and despiseth to obey a mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.

¹² But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day of his disaster; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; nor have opened wide thy mouth in the day of distress. ¹³ Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity, nor have looked, even thou, on their affliction in the day of their calamity, neither shouldest thou have laid [hands] on their substance in the day of their calamity;

¹⁵ But if thy brother sin against thee, go, reprove him between thee and him alone. If he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

⁶ does not rejoice at iniquity but rejoices with the truth,

¹ Brethren, if even a man be taken in some fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of meekness, considering thyself lest *thou* also be tempted.
