³ And Pharaoh said to his brethren, What is your occupation? And they said to Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds, both we and our fathers.

² And she further bore his brother Abel. And Abel was a shepherd, but Cain was a husbandman.

³³ And it shall come to pass that when Pharaoh shall call you and say, What is your occupation? ³⁴ then ye shall say, Thy servants are men that have been occupied with cattle from our youth even until now, both we and our fathers; in order that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination to the Egyptians.
