⁹ And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters; with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we have a feast of Jehovah.

⁸ and all the house of Joseph, and his brethren, and his father`s house; only their little ones, and their flocks, and their herds, they left in the land of Goshen.

¹⁸ And they shall hearken to thy voice. And thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, Jehovah, the God of the Hebrews, hath met with us; and now, let us go, we pray thee, three days` journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to Jehovah our God.

¹ And afterwards Moses and Aaron went in, and said to Pharaoh, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, Let my people go that they may celebrate a feast to me in the wilderness.

³ And they said, The God of the Hebrews has met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days` journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to Jehovah our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence or with sword.

²⁵ And Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron, and said, Go, sacrifice to your God in the land. ²⁶ And Moses said, It is not proper to do so; for we should sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to Jehovah our God: lo, if we sacrificed the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, would they not stone us? ²⁷ We will go three days` journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to Jehovah our God, as he shall command us. ²⁸ And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that you may sacrifice to Jehovah your God in the wilderness; only, go not very far away: intreat for me!

⁶ Seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread; and in the seventh day is a feast to Jehovah.

¹² And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have a holy convocation: no manner of servile work shall ye do; and ye shall celebrate a feast to Jehovah seven days;

¹² Gather the people together, the men, and the women, and the children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear Jehovah your God, and take heed to do all the words of this law; ¹³ and that their children who do not know it may hear it and learn, that they may fear Jehovah your God, as long as ye live in the land, whereunto ye pass over the Jordan to possess it.

¹² Both young men and maidens, old men with youths, -- ¹³ Let them praise the name of Jehovah: for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above the earth and the heavens.

⁹ Honour Jehovah with thy substance, and with the first-fruits of all thine increase;

¹ And remember thy Creator in the days of thy youth, before the evil days come, and the years draw nigh, of which thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

⁷ Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, according as ye are unleavened. For also our passover, Christ, has been sacrificed; ⁸ so that let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with leaven of malice and wickedness, but with unleavened [bread] of sincerity and truth.

⁴ And [ye] fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in [the] discipline and admonition of [the] Lord.
