⁸ knowing that whatever good each shall do, this he shall receive of [the] Lord, whether bond or free.

¹⁸ The wicked worketh a deceitful work; but he that soweth righteousness hath a sure reward.

¹⁸ for surely there is a result, and thine expectation shall not be cut off.

¹¹ Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill [with him], because the desert of his hands shall be rendered unto him.

¹² Rejoice and exult, for your reward is great in the heavens; for thus have they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

¹ Take heed not to do your alms before men to be seen of them, otherwise ye have no reward with your Father who is in the heavens.

⁴ so that thine alms may be in secret, and thy Father who sees in secret will render [it] to thee.

⁴¹ He that receives a prophet in the name of a prophet, shall receive a prophet`s reward; and he that receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man, shall receive a righteous man`s reward. ⁴² And whosoever shall give to drink to one of these little ones a cup of cold [water] only, in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

²⁷ For the Son of man is about to come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will render to each according to his doings.

³⁵ But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return, and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons of [the] Highest; for *he* is good to the unthankful and wicked.

¹⁴ and thou shalt be blessed; for they have not [the means] to recompense thee; for it shall be recompensed thee in the resurrection of the just.

⁶ who shall render to each according to his works: ⁷ to them who, in patient continuance of good works, seek for glory and honour and incorruptibility, life eternal. ⁸ But to those that are contentious, and are disobedient to the truth, but obey unrighteousness, [there shall be] wrath and indignation, ⁹ tribulation and distress, on every soul of man that works evil, both of Jew first, and of Greek; ¹⁰ but glory and honour and peace to every one that works good, both to Jew first and to Greek:

¹⁰ For we must all be manifested before the judgment-seat of the Christ, that each may receive the things [done] in the body, according to those he has done, whether [it be] good or evil.

²⁸ There is no Jew nor Greek; there is no bondman nor freeman; there is no male and female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus:

¹¹ wherein there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondman, freeman; but Christ [is] everything, and in all.

²⁴ knowing that of [the] Lord ye shall receive the recompense of the inheritance; ye serve the Lord Christ.

³⁵ Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense.

²⁶ esteeming the reproach of the Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt, for he had respect to the recompense.
