Ephesians 3:11 Cross References - Darby

¹¹ according to [the] purpose of the ages, which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord,

²⁴ Jehovah of hosts hath sworn saying, Assuredly as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, it shall stand: ²⁵ to break the Assyrian in my land; and upon my mountains will I tread him under foot; and his yoke shall depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders. ²⁶ This is the counsel which is purposed concerning the whole earth; and this is the hand which is stretched out upon all the nations. ²⁷ For Jehovah of hosts hath purposed, and who shall frustrate [it]? And his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

¹⁰ declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure; ¹¹ calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. Yea, I have spoken, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

²⁹ And the land trembleth and is in pain; for the purposes of Jehovah against Babylon do stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.

²⁸ But we *do* know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose. ²⁹ Because whom he has foreknown, he has also predestinated [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, so that he should be [the] firstborn among many brethren. ³⁰ But whom he has predestinated, these also he has called; and whom he has called, these also he has justified; but whom he has justified, these also he has glorified.

¹¹ [the children] indeed being not yet born, or having done anything good or worthless (that the purpose of God according to election might abide, not of works, but of him that calls),

⁴ according as he has chosen us in him before [the] world`s foundation, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love;

⁹ having made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself

¹¹ in whom we have also obtained an inheritance, being marked out beforehand according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his own will,

⁹ who has saved us, and has called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to [his] own purpose and grace, which [was] given to us in Christ Jesus before [the] ages of time,
