² And he said, Jehovah came from Sinai, And rose up from Seir unto them; He shone forth from mount Paran, And he came from the myriads of the sanctuary; From his right hand [went forth] a law of fire for them.

¹⁸ And the whole of mount Sinai smoked, because Jehovah descended on it in fire; and its smoke ascended as the smoke of a furnace; and the whole mountain shook greatly. ¹⁹ And the sound of the trumpet increased and became exceeding loud; Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice. ²⁰ And Jehovah came down on mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain; and Jehovah called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

²² These words Jehovah spoke to all your congregation on the mountain from the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the obscurity, with a great voice, and he added no more; and he wrote them on two tables of stone, and gave them to me.

⁴ Jehovah, when thou wentest forth from Seir, When thou marchedst out of the fields of Edom, The earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, Yea, the clouds dropped water. ⁵ The mountains quaked before the face of Jehovah, That Sinai, from before Jehovah the God of Israel.

⁷ O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness -- (Selah) -- ⁸ The earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God, yon Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

¹⁷ The chariots of God are twenty thousand, thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them: it is a Sinai in holiness.

⁹ I beheld till thrones were set, and the Ancient of days did sit: his raiment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was flames of fire, [and] its wheels burning fire. ¹⁰ A stream of fire issued and came forth from before him; thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

³ +God came from Teman, And the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covereth the heavens, And the earth is full of his praise.

⁵³ who have received the law as ordained by [the] ministry of angels, and have not kept [it].

⁷ (But if the ministry of death, in letters, graven in stones, began with glory, so that the children of Israel could not fix their eyes on the face of Moses, on account of the glory of his face, [a glory] which is annulled;

⁹ For if the ministry of condemnation [be] glory, much rather the ministry of righteousness abounds in glory. ¹⁰ For as many as are on the principle of works of law are under curse. For it is written, Cursed is every one who does not continue in all things which [are] written in the book of the law to do them;

¹⁹ Why then the law? It was added for the sake of transgressions, until the seed came to whom the promise was made, ordained through angels in [the] hand of a mediator.

⁷ and to you that are troubled repose with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven, with [the] angels of his power,

² For if the word which was spoken by angels was firm, and every transgression and disobedience received just retribution,

²⁰ (for they were not able to bear what was enjoined: And if a beast should touch the mountain, it shall be stoned;

¹⁴ And Enoch, [the] seventh from Adam, prophesied also as to these, saying, Behold, [the] Lord has come amidst his holy myriads,

¹¹ And I saw, and I heard [the] voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and their number was ten thousands of ten thousands and thousands of thousands;
