2 Thessalonians 1:11 Cross References - Darby

¹¹ To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of the calling, and fulfil all [the] good pleasure of [his] goodness and [the] work of faith with power,

¹⁴ For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide until death.

¹⁸ Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion; build the walls of Jerusalem.

²⁰ Our ?God is the ?God of salvation; and with Jehovah, the Lord, are the goings forth [even] from death.

⁸ Jehovah will perfect what concerneth me: thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, [endureth] for ever; forsake not the works of thine own hands.

¹⁸ But the path of the righteous is as the shining light, going on and brightening until the day be fully come.

⁹ And it shall be said in that day, Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is Jehovah, we have waited for him; we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto Jehovah, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

⁹ Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith Jehovah; I who cause to bring forth, shall I shut [the womb]? saith thy God.

¹⁷ If it be [so], our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver [us] out of thy hand, O king.

³ and we shall know, -- we shall follow on to know Jehovah: his going forth is assured as the morning dawn; and he will come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain which watereth the earth.

⁷ Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou dost become] a plain; and he shall bring forth the head-stone with shoutings: Grace, grace unto it!

²⁸ The earth bears fruit of itself, first [the] blade, then an ear, then full corn in the ear.

³² Fear not, little flock, for it has been the good pleasure of your Father to give you the kingdom.

²⁷ Work not [for] the food which perishes, but [for] the food which abides unto life eternal, which the Son of man shall give to you; for him has the Father sealed, [even] God. ²⁸ They said therefore to him, What should we do that we may work the works of God? ²⁹ Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom *he* has sent.

⁹ For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the glad tidings of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you,

³⁰ But whom he has predestinated, these also he has called; and whom he has called, these also he has justified; but whom he has justified, these also he has glorified.

²³ and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he had before prepared for glory, ²⁴ us, whom he has also called, not only from amongst [the] Jews, but also from amongst [the] nations?

⁸ who shall also confirm you to [the] end, unimpeachable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁵ having marked us out beforehand for adoption through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

⁹ having made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself

¹⁶ do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention [of you] at my prayers,

¹⁹ and what the surpassing greatness of his power towards us who believe, according to the working of the might of his strength, ²⁰ [in] which he wrought in the Christ [in] raising him from among [the] dead, and he set him down at his right hand in the heavenlies,

¹⁴ For this reason I bow my knees to the Father [of our Lord Jesus Christ], ¹⁵ of whom every family in [the] heavens and on earth is named, ¹⁶ in order that he may give you according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power by his Spirit in the inner man; ¹⁷ that the Christ may dwell, through faith, in your hearts, being rooted and founded in love, ¹⁸ in order that ye may be fully able to apprehend with all the saints what [is] the breadth and length and depth and height; ¹⁹ and to know the love of the Christ which surpasses knowledge; that ye may be filled [even] to all the fulness of God. ²⁰ But to him that is able to do far exceedingly above all which we ask or think, according to the power which works in us, ²¹ to him be glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus unto all generations of the age of ages. Amen).

⁶ having confidence of this very thing, that he who has begun in you a good work will complete it unto Jesus Christ`s day:

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in full knowledge and all intelligence, ¹⁰ that ye may judge of and approve the things that are more excellent, in order that ye may be pure and without offence for Christ`s day, <sup>11</sup> being complete as regards the fruit of righteousness, which [is] by Jesus Christ, to God`s glory and praise.

¹³ for it is God who works in you both the willing and the working according to [his] good pleasure.

¹⁴ I pursue, [looking] towards [the] goal, for the prize of the calling on high of God in Christ Jesus.

⁹ For this reason *we* also, from the day we heard [of your faith and love], do not cease praying and asking for you, to the end that ye may be filled with the full knowledge of his will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, ¹⁰ [so as] to walk worthily of the Lord unto all well-pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing by the true knowledge of God; ¹¹ strengthened with all power according to the might of his glory unto all endurance and longsuffering with joy; ¹² giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit for sharing the portion of the saints in light, ¹³ who has delivered us from the authority of darkness, and translated [us] into the kingdom of the Son of his love:

³ remembering unceasingly your work of faith, and labour of love, and enduring constancy of hope, of our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father;

¹² that ye should walk worthy of God, who calls you to his own kingdom and glory. ¹³ And for this cause we also give thanks to God unceasingly that, having received [the] word of [the] report of God by us, ye accepted, not men`s word, but, even as it is truly, God`s word, which also works in you who believe.

⁹ For what thanksgiving can we render to God for you, for all the joy wherewith we rejoice on account of you before our God, ¹⁰ night and day beseeching exceedingly to the end that we may see your face, and perfect what is lacking in your faith? ¹¹ But our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you. ¹² But you, may the Lord make to exceed and abound in love toward one another, and toward all, even as we also towards you, ¹³ in order to the confirming of your hearts unblamable in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

⁵ a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, to the end that ye should be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for the sake of which ye also suffer;

¹⁴ whereto he has called you by our glad tidings, to [the] obtaining of [the] glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁴ But when the kindness and love to man of our Saviour God appeared, ⁵ not on the principle of works which [have been done] in righteousness which *we* had done, but according to his own mercy he saved us through [the] washing of regeneration and renewal of [the] Holy Spirit, ⁶ which he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; ⁷ that, having been justified by *his* grace, we should become heirs according to [the] hope of eternal life.

¹ Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of [the] heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus,

² looking stedfastly on Jesus the leader and completer of faith: who, in view of the joy lying before him, endured [the] cross, having despised [the] shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

¹⁰ But the God of all grace who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, when ye have suffered for a little while, himself shall make perfect, stablish, strengthen, ground:

⁴ But thou hast a few names in Sardis which have not defiled their garments, and they shall walk with me in white, because they are worthy.

¹⁰ and made them to our God kings and priests; and they shall reign over the earth.
