2 Corinthians 5:17 Cross References - Darby

¹⁷ So if any one [be] in Christ, [there is] a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold all things have become new:

¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

¹⁸ -- Remember not the former things, neither consider the ancient things: ¹⁹ behold, I do a new thing; now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the waste.

¹⁷ Israel shall be saved by Jehovah with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded, unto the ages of ages.

²⁴ Only in Jehovah, shall one say, have I righteousness and strength. To him shall [men] come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. ²⁵ In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

¹⁷ For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. ¹⁸ But be glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create. For behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

¹⁹ And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh;

³¹ Cast away from you all your transgressions wherewith ye have transgressed, and make you a new heart and a new spirit: why then will ye die, house of Israel?

²⁶ And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

¹⁶ But no one puts a patch of new cloth on an old garment, for its filling up takes from the garment and a worse rent takes place. ¹⁷ Nor do men put new wine into old skins, otherwise the skins burst and the wine is poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into new skins, and both are preserved together.

³³ Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt. For from the fruit the tree is known.

³⁵ The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but my words shall in no wise pass away.

³ Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except any one be born anew he cannot see the kingdom of God.

⁵ Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except any one be born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

²⁰ In that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

² [As to] every branch in me not bearing fruit, he takes it away; and [as to] every one bearing fruit, he purges it that it may bring forth more fruit.

⁵ I am the vine, ye [are] the branches. He that abides in me and I in him, *he* bears much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.

²³ I in them and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one [and] that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and [that] thou hast loved them as thou hast loved me.

⁴ We have been buried therefore with him by baptism unto death, in order that, even as Christ has been raised up from among [the] dead by the glory of the Father, so *we* also should walk in newness of life. ⁵ For if we are become identified with [him] in the likeness of his death, so also we shall be of [his] resurrection; ⁶ knowing this, that our old man has been crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be annulled, that we should no longer serve sin.

⁶ but now we are clear from the law, having died in that in which we were held, so that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in oldness of letter.

¹ [There is] then now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.

⁹ But *ye* are not in flesh but in Spirit, if indeed God`s Spirit dwell in you; but if any one has not [the] Spirit of Christ *he* is not of him: ¹⁰ but if Christ be in you, the body is dead on account of sin, but the Spirit life on account of righteousness.

⁷ Salute Andronicus and Junias, my kinsmen and fellow-captives, who are of note among the apostles; who were also in Christ before me.

¹¹ Salute Herodion, my kinsman. Salute those who belong to Narcissus, who are in [the] Lord.

³⁰ But of him are *ye* in Christ Jesus, who has been made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness, and holiness, and redemption;

¹¹ When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I reasoned as a child; when I became a man, I had done with what belonged to the child.

¹⁶ So that *we* henceforth know no one according to flesh; but if even we have known Christ according to flesh, yet now we know [him thus] no longer.

¹⁹ how that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their offences; and putting in us the word of that reconciliation.

²¹ Him who knew not sin he has made sin for us, that *we* might become God`s righteousness in him.

² I know a man in Christ, fourteen years ago, (whether in [the] body I know not, or out of the body I know not, God knows;) such [a one] caught up to [the] third heaven.

²⁸ There is no Jew nor Greek; there is no bondman nor freeman; there is no male and female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus:

⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision has any force, nor uncircumcision; but faith working through love.

¹⁵ For [in Christ Jesus] neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision; but new creation.

³ Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ; ⁴ according as he has chosen us in him before [the] world`s foundation, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love;

¹⁰ For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has before prepared that we should walk in them.

¹⁵ having annulled the enmity in his flesh, the law of commandments in ordinances, that he might form the two in himself into one new man, making peace;

²² [namely] your having put off according to the former conversation the old man which corrupts itself according to the deceitful lusts; ²³ and being renewed in the spirit of your mind; ²⁴ and [your] having put on the new man, which according to God is created in truthful righteousness and holiness.

⁷ but what things were gain to me these I counted, on account of Christ, loss. ⁸ But surely I count also all things to be loss on account of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all, and count them to be filth, that I may gain Christ; ⁹ and that I may be found in him, not having my righteousness, which [would be] on the principle of law, but that which is by faith of Christ, the righteousness which [is] of God through faith,

²¹ Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who [are] with me salute you.

¹ If therefore ye have been raised with the Christ, seek the things [which are] above, where the Christ is, sitting at [the] right hand of God: ² have your mind on the things [that are] above, not on the things [that are] on the earth; ³ for ye have died, and your life is hid with the Christ in God. ⁴ When the Christ is manifested who [is] our life, then shall *ye* also be manifested with him in glory. ⁵ Put to death therefore your members which [are] upon the earth, fornication, uncleanness, vile passions, evil lust, and unbridled desire, which is idolatry. ⁶ On account of which things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. ⁷ In which *ye* also once walked when ye lived in these things. ⁸ But now, put off, *ye* also, all [these] things, wrath, anger, malice, blasphemy, vile language out of your mouth. ⁹ Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his deeds, ¹⁰ and having put on the new, renewed into full knowledge according to [the] image of him that has created him;

⁹ not according to the covenant which I made to their fathers in [the] day of my taking their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because *they* did not continue in my covenant, and *I* did not regard them, saith [the] Lord. ¹⁰ Because this [is] the covenant that I will covenant to the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord: Giving my laws into their mind, I will write them also upon their hearts; and I will be to them for God, and *they* shall be to me for people. ¹¹ And they shall not teach each his fellow-citizen, and each his brother, saying, Know the Lord; because all shall know me in themselves, from [the] little one [among them] unto [the] great among them. ¹² Because I will be merciful to their unrighteousnesses, and their sins and their lawlessnesses I will never remember any more. ¹³ In that he says New, he has made the first old; but that which grows old and aged [is] near disappearing.

¹⁰ But the day of [the] Lord will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and [the] elements, burning with heat, shall be dissolved, and [the] earth and the works in it shall be burnt up. ¹¹ All these things then being to be dissolved, what ought ye to be in holy conversation and godliness, ¹² waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, by reason of which [the] heavens, being on fire, shall be dissolved, and [the] elements, burning with heat, shall melt? ¹³ But, according to his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.

¹ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea exists no more. ² And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. ³ And I heard a loud voice out of the heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he shall tabernacle with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, their God. ⁴ And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall not exist any more, nor grief, nor cry, nor distress shall exist any more, for the former things have passed away. ⁵ And he that sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he says [to me], Write, for these words are true and faithful.
