1 Thessalonians 4:14 Cross References - Darby

¹⁴ For if we believe that Jesus has died and has risen again, so also God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus.

¹⁹ Gad -- troops will rush upon him; But he will rush upon the heel.

¹⁹ Thy dead shall live, my dead bodies shall arise. Awake and sing in triumph, ye that dwell in dust; for thy dew is the dew of the morning, and the earth shall cast forth the dead.

¹⁵ And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in those camps, as this plague.

³¹ And he shall send his angels with a great sound of trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from [the one] extremity of [the] heavens to [the other] extremity of them.

¹¹ But if the Spirit of him that has raised up Jesus from among [the] dead dwell in you, he that has raised up Christ from among [the] dead shall quicken your mortal bodies also on account of his Spirit which dwells in you.

¹² Now if Christ is preached that he is raised from among [the] dead, how say some among you that there is not a resurrection of [those that are] dead? ¹³ But if there is not a resurrection of [those that are] dead, neither is Christ raised: ¹⁴ but if Christ is not raised, then, indeed, vain also [is] our preaching, and vain also your faith. ¹⁵ And we are found also false witnesses of God; for we have witnessed concerning God that he raised the Christ, whom he has not raised if indeed [those that are] dead are not raised. ¹⁶ For if [those that are] dead are not raised, neither is Christ raised; ¹⁷ but if Christ be not raised, your faith [is] vain; ye are yet in your sins. ¹⁸ Then indeed also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. ¹⁹ If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are [the] most miserable of all men. ²⁰ (But now Christ is raised from among [the] dead, first-fruits of those fallen asleep. ²¹ For since by man [came] death, by man also resurrection of [those that are] dead. ²² For as in the Adam all die, thus also in the Christ all shall be made alive. ²³ But each in his own rank: [the] first-fruits, Christ; then those that are the Christ`s at his coming.

¹³ And having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, I have believed, therefore have I spoken; *we* also believe, therefore also we speak; ¹⁴ knowing that he who has raised the Lord Jesus shall raise us also with Jesus, and shall present [us] with you.

²⁰ for *our* commonwealth has its existence in [the] heavens, from which also we await the Lord Jesus Christ [as] Saviour, ²¹ who shall transform our body of humiliation into conformity to his body of glory, according to the working of [the] power which he has even to subdue all things to himself.

¹³ in order to the confirming of your hearts unblamable in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

¹³ But we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them that are fallen asleep, to the end that ye be not grieved even as also the rest who have no hope.

¹⁷ then *we*, the living who remain, shall be caught up together with them in [the] clouds, to meet the Lord in [the] air; and thus we shall be always with [the] Lord.

¹ Now we beg you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to him,

¹⁴ And Enoch, [the] seventh from Adam, prophesied also as to these, saying, Behold, [the] Lord has come amidst his holy myriads, ¹⁵ to execute judgment against all; and to convict all the ungodly of them of all their works of ungodliness, which they have wrought ungodlily, and of all the hard [things] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

¹⁸ and the living one: and I became dead, and behold, I am living to the ages of ages, and have the keys of death and of hades.

¹³ And I heard a voice out of the heaven saying, Write, Blessed the dead who die in [the] Lord from henceforth. Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; for their works follow with them.
