²¹ So Jehovah visited Hannah, and she conceived, and bore three sons and two daughters. And the boy Samuel grew before Jehovah.

¹ And Jehovah visited Sarah as he had said, and Jehovah did to Sarah as he had spoken.

²⁴ And the woman bore a son, and called his name Samson. And the child grew, and Jehovah blessed him.

¹⁹ And they rose up early in the morning and worshipped before Jehovah, and returned and came to their house at Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and Jehovah remembered her. ²⁰ And it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bore a son, and called his name Samuel, [saying,] Because I have asked him of Jehovah.

²⁶ And the boy Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with Jehovah and also with men.

¹⁹ And Samuel grew, and Jehovah was with him, and let none of his words fall to the ground.

⁶⁸ Blessed be [the] Lord the God of Israel, because he has visited and wrought redemption for his people,

⁸⁰ -- And the child grew and was strengthened in spirit; and he was in the deserts until the day of his shewing to Israel.

⁴⁰ And the child grew and waxed strong [in spirit], filled with wisdom, and God`s grace was upon him.

⁵² And Jesus advanced in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and men.
