¹¹ And she went to fetch [it], and he called to her and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thy hand.

⁵ And I will fetch a morsel of bread; and refresh yourselves; after that ye shall pass on; for therefore have ye passed on towards your servant. And they said, So do as thou hast said.

¹⁸ And she said, Drink, my lord! And she hasted and let down her pitcher on her hand, and gave him to drink. ¹⁹ And when she had given him enough to drink, she said, I will draw [water] for thy camels also, until they have drunk enough.

⁹ Arise, go to Zarephath, which is by Zidon, and abide there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to maintain thee.

⁴ and it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of Jehovah, that Obadiah took a hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and maintained them with bread and water);

³⁵ for I hungered, and ye gave me to eat; I thirsted, and ye gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; ³⁶ naked, and ye clothed me; I was ill, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came to me. ³⁷ Then shall the righteous answer him saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungering, and nourished thee; or thirsting, and gave thee to drink? ³⁸ and when saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in; or naked, and clothed thee? ³⁹ and when saw we thee ill, or in prison, and came to thee? ⁴⁰ And the King answering shall say to them, Verily, I say to you, Inasmuch as ye have done it to one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it to me.
