⁹ And they taughte in Iuda, & had the boke of the lawe of ye LORDE wt them, & wente aboute in all ye cities of Iuda, & taughte the people.

⁴ Heare O Israel, the LORDE oure God is one LORDE onely. ⁵ And thou shalt loue the LORDE thy God wt all thy hart, with all yi soule, & with all thy mighte. ⁶ And these wordes, which I commaude the this daie, shalt thou take to hert, ⁷ & shalt whet them vpon yi children, and shalt talke of them, wha thou syttest in thyne house, & whan thou walkest by the waie: whan thou lyest downe, & wha thou rysest vp. ⁸ And thou shalt bynde them for a signe vpon thine hande, and they shall be a token of remebraunce before thine eyes, ⁹ and thou shalt wryte them vpon the postes of thine house, and vpon thy gates.

¹¹ whan all Israel come to appeare before the LORDE thy God, in the place that he shall chose, thou shalt cause this lawe to be proclamed before all Israel in their eares, ¹² namely, before the congregacion of the people, both of men, wemen, children, and thy straungers which are within thy gates: that they maye heare and lerne to feare the LORDE their God, and be diligent to do all the wordes of this lawe: ¹³ and that their children also which knowe nothinge, maye heare and lerne to feare the LORDE yor God, all youre lyue dayes which ye lyue in the londe, whither ye go ouer Iordane to possesse it.

⁷ Be stroge therfore and very bolde, that thou mayest kepe and do euery thynge acordinge to the lawe, that Moses my seruaunt commaunded the. Turne not asyde from it, nether to the righte hande ner to the lefte, yt thou mayest deale wysely whither so euer thou goest. ⁸ And let not the boke of this lawe departe out of thy mouth, but exercyse thy selfe therin daie and nighte, that thou mayest kepe and do euery thinge acordinge to it that is wrytte therin: Then shalt thou prospere in thy waies, and deale wysely.

³ and sayde vnto the Leuites that taughte in all Israel, and were sanctified vnto ye LORDE: Put the holy Arke in the house that Salomon ye sonne of Dauid kynge of Israel dyd buylde. Ye shal beare it nomore vpon youre shulders. Se that ye serue now the LORDE youre God, and his people of Israel,

⁷ And Iesua, Bani, Serebia, Iamin, Acub, Sabthai, Hodaia, Maeseia, Celita, Asaria, Iosabad, Hanam, Plaia, and the Leuites, caused ye people to geue hede vnto the lawe, & the people stode in their place.

²⁰ Yf eny man want light, let him loke vpon the lawe and the testimony, whether they speake not after this meanynge.

²³ When they persecute you in one cite, flye in to another. I tell you for a treuth, ye shall not fynysshe all the cities of Israel, tyll the sonne of man come.

¹ And it came to passe, wha Iesus had made an ende of comaundinge his twolue disciples, he departed thence. to teach and to preach in their cities.

² Why do thy disciples transgresse ye tradicions of the elders? for they wash not their hodes whan they eate bred. ³ He answered & sayde vnto the: Why do ye transgresse the comaundemet of God, because of youre owne tradicios? ⁴ For God comaunded, sayege: Honoure father & mother: & he yt curseth father & mother, shal dye the death. ⁵ But ye saye: Euery man shal saye to father or mother: The thige yt I shulde helpe ye withal, is geue vnto God. ⁶ By this is it come to passe, that no man honoureth his father or his mother eny more. And thus haue ye made the comaundement of God of none effecte, for youre owne tradicios. ⁷ Ye ypocrites, full well hath Esaye prophecied of you, & sayde: ⁸ This people draweth nye vnto me wt their mouth, & honoureth me wt their lippes, howbeit, their hert is farre fro me. ⁹ But in vayne do they serue me, whyle they teach soch doctrynes as are nothinge but the commaundementes of men.

¹⁹ Go ye youre waye therfore, and teach all nacions, and baptyse them in the name of the father, and of the sonne, and of the holy goost: ²⁰ and teach them to kepe all thinges, what soeuer I haue commaunded you. And lo, I am with you euery daye vnto the ende of the worlde.

¹⁷ Then was there delyuered him the boke of ye prophet Esay. And whan he had turned ouer the boke, he founde the place where it is wrytten: ¹⁸ The sprete of the LORDE is with me, because he hath anoynted me: to preach the Gospell vnto ye poore hath he sent me: to heale the broken harted: to preach delyuerauce to the captyue, and sight to the blynde: and frely to set at liberty them that are brused: ¹⁹ and to preach the acceptable yeare of the LORDE.

⁴⁶ Yf ye beleued Moses, ye shulde beleue me also: For he hath wrytte of me.

⁴⁰ As for Philippe, he was founde at Assdod, and walked aboute, and preached the Gospell vnto all the cities, tyll he came to Cesarea.

¹⁵ But after the lecture of the lawe and of the prophetes, the rulers of the synagoge sent vnto them, sayenge: Good brethren, yf ye haue eny sermon to exorte the people, saye on.

²¹ For Moses hath of olde tyme in euery cite them that preach him: and he is red in the synagoges euery Sabbath daye.

²³ And wha they had appoynted hi a daye, there came many vnto hi in to his lodginge: vnto who he expouded ye kyngdome of God & preached vnto the of Iesu, out of ye lawe and out of the prophetes, eue fro mornynge vntyll the eue.

² Surely very moch. First Vnto them was commytted what God spake.

¹¹ Yf eny ma speake, let hi speake it as ye wordes of God. Yf eny man haue an office, let him execute it as out of the power yt God mynistreth vnto hi, yt God maye be praysed in all thinges thorow Iesus Christ, To who be honor and domynion for euer and euer Amen.
