¹⁰ He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world did not know him.

² but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the world. ³ He is the radiance of his glory and the exact representation of his being, and upholds all things by the word of his power. ³ By faith we understand that the world was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.

¹ See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God! And so we are! The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
