³² This Jesus God raised up again, and of that we are all witnesses.

⁴⁶ And he said to them, "Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, ⁴⁷ and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. ⁴⁸ You are witnesses of these things.

²⁷ And you also will bear witness, because you have been with me from the beginning.

²⁶ Eight days later, his disciples were again in the house, and Thomas was with them. The doors were shut, but Jesus came and stood among them, and said, "Peace be with you!" ²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here, and see my hands. Reach out your hand, and put it into my side; do not be unbelieving, but believing." ²⁸ Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!" ²⁹ Jesus said to him, "Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." ³⁰ Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book; ³¹ but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.

⁸ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth."

²⁴ But God raised him up, having loosed the agony of death, because it was impossible for him to be held in its power.
