¹⁰ For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

²⁷ For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will reward each man according to what he has done.

³¹ "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. ³² All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. ³³ And he will put the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. ³⁴ Then the King will say to those on his right hand, 'Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: ³⁵ for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you took me in, ³⁶ I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.' ³⁷ Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? ³⁸ When did we see you a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe you? ³⁹ When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' ⁴⁰ And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.' ⁴¹ "Then he will say to those on his left hand, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels: ⁴² for I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, ⁴³ I was a stranger and you did not take me in, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.' ⁴⁴ Then they also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?' ⁴⁵ Then he will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.' ⁴⁶ And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

⁴² And he commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead.

³¹ because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and of this he has given proof to all men by raising him from the dead."

⁵ But by your hardness and your impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed. ⁶ For he "will render to each one according to his works": ⁷ to those who by patience in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality, he will give eternal life; ⁸ but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey wickedness, there will be wrath and fury. ⁹ There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, ¹⁰ but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek.

¹² Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you obey its passions. ¹³ Do not yield your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but yield yourselves to God as men who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments of righteousness.

¹⁹ I am speaking in human terms, because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you once yielded your members to impurity and to greater and greater iniquity, so now yield your members to righteousness for holiness.

¹ I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. ² Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

¹⁰ Why do you judge your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God. ¹¹ For it is written: "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God." ¹² So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.

⁵ Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men's hearts. Then every man will receive his praise from God.

¹² "All things are lawful for me," but not all things are helpful. "All things are lawful for me," but I will not be mastered by anything. ¹³ "Food is for the stomach and the stomach for food"but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. ¹⁴ By his power God raised the Lord, and he will also raise us up. ¹⁵ Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! ¹⁶ Or do you not know that he who joins himself to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, "The two shall become one flesh." ¹⁷ But he who unites himself with the Lord is one spirit with him. ¹⁸ Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body. ¹⁹ Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; ²⁰ you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body.

³ I do not say this to condemn you, for I have said before that you are in our hearts, to die together and to live together.

⁷ Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. ⁸ For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption; but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

⁸ knowing that whatever good thing each one does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.

²⁴ knowing that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. ²⁵ For he who does wrong will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.

⁵ but they will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

¹⁴ It was also about these men that Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied, saying, "Behold, the Lord came with many thousands of his holy ones, ¹⁵ to execute judgment on all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him."

²³ And I will strike her children dead. And all the churches shall know that I am he who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you according to your works.

¹¹ Then I saw a great white throne and him who sat upon it; from his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. ¹² And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. ¹³ The sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them, and all were judged according to what they had done. ¹⁴ Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. ¹⁵ And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

¹² "Behold, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to render to every man according to what he has done.
