⁹ Then I am saying, I will not graze you. The dying will die; and the suppressed will be suppressed; and the remainder will eat, each woman, of the flesh of her mate."

⁵³ Then you will eat the fruit of your own belly, the flesh of your sons and your daughters whom Yahweh your Elohim will have given to you, in the siege and in the constraint with which your enemy shall constrain you. ⁵⁴ The tender-hearted man among you and the one very fastidious, his eye shall be evil toward his brother and toward the wife of his bosom and toward the rest of his sons whom he shall have left, ⁵⁵ so as to keep from giving to one of them the flesh of his sons that he is eating because nothing at all remains for him in the siege and in the constraint with which your enemy shall constrain you in all your gates. ⁵⁶ The tender-hearted woman among you, and the fastidious one, who would not try to put the sole of her foot on the earth because of fastidiousness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom and toward her son and toward her daughter,

²² Let their table become a trap before them, And a repayment and a snare." ²³ Let their eyes be darkened, kept from seeing, And let their waist be bowed low continually." ²⁴ Pour out Your indignation upon them, And let Your hot anger overtake them." ²⁵ Let their domicile become desolate; Let no one be dwelling in their tents. ²⁶ As for You, they persecute those whom You have smitten, And they are recounting the pain of those wounded by You." ²⁷ Do bestow depravity on their depravity, And let them not come into Your righteousness." ²⁸ Let them be wiped out from the scroll of life, And let them not be written with the righteous."

¹⁹ By the hot rage of Yahweh of hosts is all the land incinerated, and the people are coming to be as fuel for the fire. A man his brother shall not spare." ²⁰ And he will sever on the right, yet is famishing, and he will eat on the left, yet is not satisfied. A man will eat the flesh of his arm." ²¹ Manasseh will eat Ephraim and Ephraim Manasseh, and together they will dine on Judah. And in all this His anger does not reverse, and his hand is outstretched still!"

² And it has come to pass, when they say to you, Whither do we go out? that you have said unto them, Thus said Yahweh:Those who [are] for death--to death, And those who are for the sword, to the sword, And those who are for famine, to famine, And those who are for captivity, to captivity." ³ And I have appointed over them four kinds, an affirmation of Yahweh, The sword to slay, and the dogs to drag, And the fowl of the heavens, And the beast of the earth, to consume and to devour."

⁹ And I have caused them to eat the flesh of their sons, and the flesh of their daughters, and each the flesh of his friend they do eat, in the siege and in the straitness with which straiten them do their enemies, and those seeking their life."

³³ And when this people, or the prophet, Or a priest, does ask you, saying, What [is] the burden of Yahweh? Then you have said unto them:You [are] the burden, and I have left you, An affirmation of Yahweh."

³⁹ Therefore, lo, I--I have taken you utterly away, And I have sent you out, And the city that I gave to you, And to your fathers, from before My face,

¹¹ and he has come, and smitten the land of Egypt--those who [are] for death to death, and those who [are] for captivity to captivity, and those who [are] for the sword to the sword."

¹⁰ Therefore fathers do eat sons in your midst, And sons eat their fathers, And I have done in you judgments, And have scattered all your remnant to every wind."

¹⁰ And, approaching, the disciples say to Him, "Wherefore art Thou speaking in parables to them? ¹¹ Now, answering, He said to them that "To you has it been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of the heavens, yet to those it has not been given."

¹⁴ Leave them! Blind guides are they of the blind! Now if the blind should be guiding the blind, both shall be falling into a pit."

¹⁹ And, perceiving one fig tree on the roadside, He came to it and found nothing on it except leaves only. And He is saying to it, "No longer, by any means, may fruit be coming of you for the eon.And withered instantly is the fig tree."

⁴³ Therefore am I saying to you that the kingdom of God shall be taken away from you and shall be given to a nation producing its fruits.

³⁸ Lo! left is your house to you desolate. ³⁹ For I am saying to you: You may by no means be perceiving Me henceforth, till you should be saying, 'Blessed is He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!'"

²¹ He said, then, again to them, "I am going away, and you will be seeking Me, and in your sin shall you be dying. Where I am going, you can not be coming."

²⁴ I said, then, to you, that you shall be dying in your sins. For if ever you should not be believing Me that I am, you shall be dying in your sins."

³⁵ Jesus, then, said to them, "Still a little time the light is among you. Be walking while you have the light, lest the darkness may be overtaking you. And he who is walking in the darkness is not aware whither he is going."

⁴⁶ Being bold, both Paul and Barnabas, say, "To you first was it necessary that the word of God be spoken. Yet, since, in fact, you are thrusting it away, and are judging yourselves not worthy of eonian life, lo! we are turning to the nations." ⁴⁷ For thus the Lord has directed us: I have appointed Thee for a light of the nations; for Thee to be for salvation as far as the limits of the earth.'"

²⁶ saying, 'Go to this people and say, "In hearing, you will be hearing, and may by no means be understanding, And observing, you will be observing, and may by no means be perceiving, ²⁷ For stoutened is the heart of this people, And with their ears heavily they hear, And with their eyes they squint, Lest at some time they may be perceiving with their eyes, And with their ears should be hearing, And with their heart may be understanding, And should be turning about, And I shall be healing them.'" ²⁸ Let it be known to you, then, that to the nations was dispatched this salvation of God, and they will hear."

¹¹ Let the injurer injure still; and let the filthy one be filthy still; and let the just one do righteousness still; and let the holy one be hallowed still."
