And behold! I am causing humans to be found, each in the hand of his associate, and in the hand of his king. And they shall pound the land to pieces, yet I will not rescue from their hand." ⁷ And I will graze the flock for the killing, for the traffickers of the flock. And I am taking myself two sticks. One I call Pleasantness, and one I called Pledgers. And I am grazing the flock." ⁸ And I am suppressing three shepherds in one month. Yet my soul is impatient with them; and, moreover, their soul is nauseated with me." ⁹ Then I am saying, I will not graze you. The dying will die; and the suppressed will be suppressed; and the remainder will eat, each woman, of the flesh of her mate." ¹⁰ And I will take my stick, Pleasantness, and will hack it to pieces, to annul my covenant which I contracted with all the peoples." ¹¹ And it will be annulled in that day. I am raising up a shepherd in the land. The suppressed he will not visit; the roving he will not seek; and the broken he will not heal; that which stands up he will not sustain. Yet the flesh of the plump he will eat, and their hoofs he will break off." ¹⁷ Woe! forbidden idol's shepherd! forsaker of the flock! A sword is on his arm and on his right eye! There you will serve other elohim, those of wood and stone which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers. ⁶⁵ And among those nations you shall neither find respite, nor shall there be a resting place for the sole of your foot, and Yahweh will give to you there a disturbed heart, a failure of the eyes and pining of the soul. ⁶⁶ Then your lives will come to be hung in suspense in front of you. You will be afraid by night and by day, and you shall not put trust in your lives. ⁶⁷ In the morning you shall say:O that it were evening! For the day of their calamity is near, and impending doom hurries upon them. ³⁶ For Yahweh shall adjudicate His people and show Himself merciful over His servants when He sees that the power of their hand has departed and has become nil for both the restrained and the ones set free. ³⁷ Then Yahweh will ask:Where are their elohim, the rock in whom they took refuge, ³⁸ who ate the fat of their sacrifices and drank the wine of their libations? Let them rise up and help you; let them become a concealment over you. ³⁹ See now that I, I am He, and there is no other elohim besides Me. I Myself put to death, and I keep alive; I have transfixed, and I Myself shall heal, and there is no one who could reclaim from My hand!" ⁴⁰ For I lift My hand to the heavens and declare:As I am the Life for the eon, ⁴¹ when I whet My flashing sword and My hand lays hold on judgment, I shall return vengeance to My foes, and to My haters shall I make repayment. ⁴² I shall make My arrows drunk with blood, and My sword shall devour flesh, the blood of the one mortally wounded and the captive, from the head of the enemy commanders.

Yet I shall be glorified in the eyes of Yahweh, and my Elohim becomes my help."

⁷ Thus says my Lord Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Elohim of Israel, his Holy One, to the despised of His soul, to the abhorred of the nation, to the servant of rulers, "Kings shall see him, and they rise, and chiefs shall also worship him, on account of Yahweh, Who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, and He shall choose you."

No shape has He nor honor when we shall see Him, and no appearance nor loveliness that we will covet Him." ³ Despised is He, and shunned by men, a man of pains and knowing illness. ¹ The spirit of My Lord Yahweh is on Me, because Yahweh anoints Me to bear tidings to the humble. He sends Me to bind up the broken hearted, to herald to captives, liberty, and, to the blind, the unclosing of the eyes, and, to the bound, to take the jubilee,

¹⁵ And you leave your name for an oath to My chosen.And you are put to death by my Lord Yahweh; yet He shall call His servants by another name."

³ Holy [is] Israel to Yahweh, The first-fruit of His increase, All consuming him are guilty, Evil comes in unto them, an affirmation of Yahweh."

¹⁵ Against him roar do young lions, They have given forth their voice, And make his land become a desolation, His cities have been burnt without inhabitant."

³⁰ In vain I have smitten your sons, Instruction they have not accepted, Devoured has your sword your prophets, As a destroying lion."

⁴ And I--I said, `Surely these [are] poor, They have been foolish, For they have not known the way of Yahweh, The judgment of their Elohim." ⁵ I get me to the great, and I speak with them, For they have known the way of Yahweh, The judgment of their Elohim.' Surely they together have broken the yoke, They have drawn away the bands."

⁴ Do not trust for yourselves Unto the words of falsehood, saying, The temple of Yahweh, the temple of Yahweh, The temple of Yahweh [are] they!"

¹¹ A den of burglars has this house, On which My name is called, been in your eyes? Even I, lo, I have seen, an affirmation of Yahweh." ¹² But go you, I pray you, Unto My place that [is] in Shiloh, Where I caused My name to dwell at first, And see that which I have done to it, For the wickedness of My people Israel." ¹³ And now, because of your doing all these works, An affirmation of Yahweh, And I speak unto you, rising early and speaking, And you have not hearkened, And I call you, and you have not answered, ¹⁴ I also to the house on which My name is called, In which you are trusting, And to the place that I gave to you, and to your fathers, Have done, as I have done to Shiloh."

²³ O dweller in Lebanon, making a nest among cedars, How gracious have you been when pangs come to you, Pain--as of a travailing woman."

³⁹ Therefore, lo, I--I have taken you utterly away, And I have sent you out, And the city that I gave to you, And to your fathers, from before My face,

³⁴ Howl, you shepherds, and cry, And roll yourselves, you honorable of the flock, For full have been your days, For slaughtering, and [for] your scatterings, And you have fallen as a desirable vessel." ³⁵ And perished has refuge from the shepherds, And escape from the honorable of the flock." ³⁶ A voice [is] of the cry of the shepherds, And a howling of the honorable of the flock, For Yahweh is spoiling their pasture."

⁶ Then I have given up this house as Shiloh, and this city I give up for a reviling to all nations of the earth.'"

²⁵ Yahweh is good to those who are expectant, to the soul that seeks after Him;" ²⁶ It is good that one should wait in stillness for the salvation of Yahweh;

You heads of the house of Jacob, and captains of the house of Israel, who are abhorring judgment and are perverting all uprightness, ¹⁰ building Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity;" ¹¹ her heads are judging for a bribe, and her priests are directing for a price, and her prophets are divining for money, and on Yahweh they are leaning, saying:Is not Yahweh within us? Evil shall not come on us." ¹² Wherefore, due to you, Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become rubbish heaps, and the mountain of the house fane heights of a wildwood."

⁴ And He stands and shepherds His flock in the strength of Yahweh, in the pomp of the name of Yahweh, His Elohim. And they shall dwell, for now shall He be great unto the limits of the land."

Moreover, her unweaned children are being dashed to pieces at the head of all the streets, and over all her glorious ones, they handle the lot. Make yourself heavy as the grub; make yourself heavy as the locust! ¹⁶ You increase your traders more than the stars of the heavens. The grub strips itself and will fly away. ¹⁷ Your men with insignias are as the locust, and your marshals as the arching caterpillar, the arching caterpillars which are camping in the stone dikes on a cold day. The sun rises, and they flit away, and their place is not known, where they are. Woe to them!" ¹⁸ Your shepherds slumber, king of Assyria! Your nobles are lying down. Your people are diffused on the mountains, and no one is convening them." ¹⁹ There is no dimming of your breaking; your blow is ailing. All hearing the report of you will clasp hands over you, for over whom did not your evil pass continually?

⁸ Seeing that you loot many nations, all the rest of the peoples will loot you because of human blood and the violence to the land, to the town and all dwelling in it."

³ Her chiefs within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they pick clean, leaving nothing for the morning."

¹¹ In that day you shall not be ashamed of all your practices, in which you transgressed against Me, for then will I take away from within you those who are joyous in your pride, and you shall not continue further to be haughty in My holy mountain." ¹² And I will cause a humble and poor people to remain within you; and they will take refuge in the name of Yahweh.

⁸ Ascend the mountain, and bring wood and build the house, and I will accept it and be glorified, says Yahweh."

²² And I will overturn the thrones of kingdoms, and I will exterminate the steadfastness of the kingdoms of the nations, and overturn the chariot and its riders, and the horses and their riders go down, each man by the sword of his brother."

And they shall pound the land to pieces, yet I will not rescue from their hand." ⁷ And I will graze the flock for the killing, for the traffickers of the flock. And I am taking myself two sticks. One I call Pleasantness, and one I called Pledgers. And I am grazing the flock."

Yet the flesh of the plump he will eat, and their hoofs he will break off." ¹⁷ Woe! forbidden idol's shepherd! forsaker of the flock! A sword is on his arm and on his right eye! His arm shall be dried dry, and his right eye shall be dimmed dim."

It shall call in My name, and I will answer it. I will say, My people is it. And it will say, Yahweh is my Elohim."

Every tree, then, which is not producing ideal fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire.

(The price of the Valued One, Whom they value from the sons of Israel), ¹⁰ And they give them for the Field of the Potter, According as the Lord arranges with me."

Now these it was binding for you to do and not to be devoid of those." ⁴³ Woe to you, Pharisees! seeing that you are loving the front seat in the synagogues and the salutations in the markets." ⁴⁴ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are as the obscure tombs, and the men who are walking upon them are not aware of it." ⁴⁵ Now, answering, a certain one of those learned in the law is saying to Him, "Teacher, saying these things, us also are you outraging." ⁴⁶ Yet He said, "To you who are learned in the law, also, woe! for you are loading men with loads hard to bear, and you yourselves are not grazing the loads with one of your fingers." ⁴⁷ Woe to you! for you are building the tombs of the prophets, yet your fathers kill them." ⁴⁸ Consequently you are witnesses and are endorsing the acts of your fathers, for they, indeed, kill them, yet you are building their tombs." ⁴⁹ Therefore, also, God's Wisdom said, 'I shall be dispatching to them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will be killing and banishing,'" ⁵⁰ that the blood of all the prophets which is shed from the disruption of the world may be exacted from this generation, ⁵¹ from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the house. Yea, I am saying to you, It will be exacted from this generation!" ⁵² Woe to you who are learned in the law! for you take away the key of knowledge-you yourselves do not enter, and those who are entering you prevent."

⁴⁵ Now if that slave should be saying in his heart, 'My lord is delaying his coming,' and should be beginning both to beat the boys and the maids and to be eating and drinking and to be drunk, ⁴⁶ the lord of that slave will be arriving on a day for which he is not hoping and at an hour which he does not know, and shall be cutting him asunder and shall be appointing his part with the unfaithful."

Yet now it was hid from your eyes, ⁴³ for the days will be arriving on you, and your enemies will be casting up a rampart about you, and will be surrounding you, and will be pressing you everywhere, ⁴⁴ and will be leveling you and your children in you, and they will not be leaving a stone on a stone in you, because you knew not the era of your visitation."

Now you be seated in the city of Jerusalem till you should be putting on power from on high." ⁵⁰ Now He led them out as far as to Bethany, and, lifting up His hands, He blesses them." ⁵¹ And it occurred as He is blessing them, He put an interval between Himself and them, and He was carried up into heaven." ⁵² And they, worshiping Him, return to Jerusalem with great joy." ⁵³ And they were continually in the sanctuary, praising and blessing God. Amen!"

⁷ The world can not be hating you, yet Me it is hating, for I am testifying concerning it that its acts are wicked."

¹⁷ which is the term for "Teacher.Jesus is saying to her, "Do not touch Me, for not as yet have I ascended to My Father. Now go to My brethren, and say to them that I said, 'Lo! I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.'"

Thou knowest that I am fond of Thee.And Jesus is saying to him, "Graze My little sheep!"

¹⁸ (This man, indeed, then, acquires a freehold with the wages of injustice, and coming to fall prone, ruptures in the middle, and all his intestines were poured out." ¹⁹ And it became known to all who are dwelling in Jerusalem, so that that freehold is called, in their own vernacular, "Acheldamach,that is, "Freehold of blood.")"

²¹ Then, of the men coming together with us in all the time in which the Lord Jesus came in and out to us, ²² beginning from the baptism of John until the day on which He was taken up from us - of these one is to become a witness of His resurrection together with us."

For all shall be acquainted with Me, From their little to their great, ¹² For I shall be propitious to their injustices, And of their sins and their lawlessnesses should I under no circumstances still be reminded." ¹³ In saying "new,He has made the former old. Now that which is growing old and decrepit is near its disappearance."

I will repay! the Lord is saying, and again, "The Lord will be judging His people" ³¹ Fearful is it to be falling into the hands of the living God!
