¹² And the fourth messenger trumpets. And a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of the stars were eclipsed, that a third of them may be darkened, and the day may not be appearing for a third of it, and the night likewise."

²¹ Yahweh said to Moses: Stretch out your hand to the heavens, and let a darkness come on the land of Egypt so that the darkness may cause them to grope. ²² Then Moses stretched out his hand to the heavens, and gloomy darkness came to be in all the land of Egypt for three days. ²³ No one saw his brother, and no one rose from the place beneath him for three days. Yet all the sons of Israel came to have light in their dwellings. ²⁴ Now Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said: Go! Serve Yahweh your Elohim, but your flocks and your herds shall be made to stay put. However your little ones may go with you. ²⁵ Moses said: You, moreover, should give sacrifices and ascent offerings into our hand, that we may make them to Yahweh our Elohim. ²⁶ And even our cattle shall go with us. Not a hoof shall remain, for from them shall we take to serve Yahweh our Elohim, for we do not know what we shall serve Yahweh until we come there. ²⁷ Yet Yahweh made the heart of Pharaoh steadfast, and he did not comply so as to dismiss them. ²⁸ So Pharaoh said to him: Go away from me! Guard yourself! Do not continue to see my face, for in the day you see my face you shall die!" ²⁹ Hence Moses said: Properly you have spoken! No further shall I continue to see your face!

¹⁰ For the stars of the heavens are not appearing, and their constellations are not irradiating their light. Dark is the sun in its faring forth, and the moon is not brightening with its light."

²³ And the brick will melt, and the wall will fall, for Yahweh of hosts is King in mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and in front of His elders is He glorified."

²³ I looked [to] the land, and lo, waste and void, And unto the heavens, and their light is not."

⁷ And in quenching you I have covered the heavens, And have made black their stars, The sun with a cloud I do cover, And the moon causes not its light to shine." ⁸ All luminaries of light in the heavens, I make black over you, And I have given darkness over your land, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh,

¹⁰ Before it the earth is disturbed; the heavens quake, the sun and the moon are somber, and the stars gather in their brightness."

³¹ The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the day of Yahweh, the great and fearful day."

⁹ And it comes in that day (averring is my Lord Yahweh) that I will bring in the sun at noon, and I will darken the land in daylight;"

⁸ And it shall come to be that in all the land, (averring is Yahweh), two divisions in it shall be cut off and shall expire. Yet the third shall be left in it." ⁹ And I will bring the third into the fire. And I will refine them as silver is refined. And I will test them as gold is tested. It shall call in My name, and I will answer it. I will say, My people is it. And it will say, Yahweh is my Elohim."

²⁹ Now immediately after the affliction of those days the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not be giving her beams, and the stars shall be falling from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken."

⁴⁵ Now from the sixth hour darkness came over the entire land till the ninth hour.

²⁴ But in those days, after that affliction, the sun shall be darkened,

³³ And at the coming of the sixth hour, darkness came over the whole land till the ninth hour."

²⁵ And there shall be signs in the sun and the moon and the constellations, and on the earth pressure of nations in perplexity, at the resounding of the sea and the shaking,

⁴⁴ And it was already about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land till the ninth hour, ⁴⁵ at the defaulting of the sun. Now rent is the curtain of the temple in the middle.

²⁰ The sun shall be converted into darkness And the moon into blood Ere the coming of the day of the Lord, The great and advent day."

⁴ in whom the god of this eon blinds the apprehensions of the unbelieving so that the illumination of the evangel of the glory of Christ, Who is the Image of the invisible God, does not irradiate them."

⁹ whose presence is in accord with the operation of Satan, with all power and signs and false miracles" ¹⁰ and with every seduction of injustice among those who are perishing, because they do not receive the love of the truth for their salvation." ¹¹ And therefore God will be sending them an operation of deception, for them to believe the falsehood, ¹² that all may be judged who do not believe the truth, but delight in injustice."

¹² And I perceived, when It opens the sixth seal, and a great cataclysm occurred, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood,

⁷ And the first trumpets. And there came to be hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was cast into the earth, and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up." ⁸ And the second messenger trumpets. And as it were a huge mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood, ⁹ and a third of the creatures in the sea, which have a soul, died, and a third of the ships decayed." ¹⁰ And the third messenger trumpets. And a large star falls out of heaven, burning as a torch. And it falls on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water." ¹¹ And the name of the star is said to be Absinth. And a third of the waters became absinth, and many of mankind died of the waters, seeing that they were made bitter." ¹² And the fourth messenger trumpets. And a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of the stars were eclipsed, that a third of them may be darkened, and the day may not be appearing for a third of it, and the night likewise."

¹⁵ And loosed were the four messengers, made ready for the hour, and day, and month, and year, that they should be killing a third of mankind."

¹⁸ By these three calamities were killed a third of mankind: by the fire and the fumes and the sulphur which is issuing out of their mouths.

⁴ And its tail is dragging a third of the stars of heaven, and casts them into the earth. And the dragon stands before the woman who is about to be bringing forth, that it may be devouring her child whenever she may be bringing forth"

⁸ And the fourth messenger pours out his bowl on the sun. And it was given to him to scorch mankind with fire. ⁹ And mankind is scorched with great heat, and they blaspheme the name of God, Who has the jurisdiction over these calamities, and they do not repent, to give Him glory."
