⁵ But El, He shall break you down permanently; He shall rake you up and tear you out from your tent, And He will root you out from the land of the living. {Interlude{ "

¹⁴ He shall be pulled away from his tent where his trust had dwelt; And it makes him march to the king of decay.

⁶ Even if his dignity ascends to the heavens, And his head touches the thick clouds, ⁷ He shall perish permanently like his own ordure; Those having seen him shall say, Where is he?

¹⁴ Behold, he shall be cramped with lawlessness, And he will become pregnant with toil, And he will generate falsehood. ¹⁵ He has dug a crypt and delved it deep. Yet he shall fall into the grave he has made. ¹⁶ His toil shall turn back upon his head, And his wrong shall descend on his scalp.

¹³ I believe that I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.

³⁵ I have seen a wicked one, a terrifier, Elevating himself like a flourishing native tree." ³⁶ Yet I passed by, and behold, he was not there, And I sought him, and he was not found."

²³ And You, O Elohim, You shall bring them down to the well of ruin, These mortals of bloodshed and deceit, Who shall not live half their days; As for me, I am trusting in You. {Permanent{ {Concerning the Mute Dove Afar{ "

⁷ Yet Elohim shall shoot an arrow at them. Suddenly smitings will come on them, ⁸ And they shall stumble by it:their own tongue against them. All seeing them shall bolt away, ⁹ And every human shall fear. Then they shall tell of Elohim's deeds And will contemplate His handiwork. ¹⁰ The righteous one shall rejoice in Yahweh, And he will take refuge in Him. And all the upright of heart shall praise. {Permanent{ "

⁹ I shall walk before Yahweh In the land of the living.

² O Yahweh, do rescue my soul From the false lip, From the deceitful tongue." ³ What shall He give to you, And what more shall He add for you, Deceitful tongue? ⁴ He will send arrows of the masterful, whetted With glowing embers of broom!"

⁹ As for the heads of those round about me, May the misery done by their lips cover them." ¹⁰ May glowing embers slip down over them; May He cast them into the fire, Into chasms, so they may rise no more." ¹¹ May a man of slander no more become established in the land; A man of violence, may evil hunt him with jolt after jolt."

²² Yet the wicked, they shall be cut off from the land, And the treacherous, they shall be torn out from it."

¹⁹ The lip of truth is established into the future, Yet the false tongue lasts only for a moment."

⁵ A false witness shall not be held innocent, And he who breathes out lies shall not escape."

⁹ A false witness shall not be held innocent, And he who breathes out lies shall perish."

¹⁹ And I thrust you from your station, and from your standing will I pull you down."

¹¹ Said I:I shall not see the salvation of Yah. Yah is in the land of the living. And I shall not look for the salvation of Israel on the earth, I shall not look on humanity further. When I am with the dwellers of transience I leave off looking."

²⁷ Yet he said, 'I am asking you then, father, that you should be sending him into my father's house, ²⁸ for I have five brothers, so that he may be certifying to them, lest they also may be coming into this place of torment.'"

⁸ Yet the timid, and unbelievers, and the abominable, and murderers, and paramours, and enchanters, and idolaters, and all the false-their part is in the lake burning with fire and sulphur, which is the second death."
