Psalms 105:12 Cross References - CLV

¹² When they became few adult males in number, Only a few, and sojourners in it,

⁸ And I give to you and to your seed after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for a holding eonian. And I become their Elohim.

⁴ A sojourner and a settler am I with you. Give me a holding for a tomb with you, and I will entomb my dead from my face.

³⁰ And saying is Jacob to Simeon and to Levi, "You trouble me to make me stink among all the dwellers of the land, among the Canaanite and among the Perizzite. And I am death-doomed, outnumbered when gathered are they against me and smite me, and exterminated shall I be, I and my household.

⁷ It was not because your multitude was more than all the other peoples that Yahweh was attached to you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all the peoples.

⁵ And you will respond and say before Yahweh your Elohim:My father was a lost Aramean, and he went down to Egypt, sojourned there with few adult males and became there a nation, great, substantial and numerous.

² Look to Abraham, your forefather, and to Sarah, who travailed with you, for one was he when I called him and blessed him, and I loved him and will increase him."

²⁴ `Son of man, the inhabitants of these wastes on the ground of Israel are speaking, saying:Alone has been Abraham--and he possesses the land, and we [are] many--to us has the land been given for a possession." ²⁵ Therefore say unto them:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:With the blood you do eat, And your eyes you lift up unto your idols, And blood you shed, and the land you inherit!" ²⁶ You have stood on your sword, You have done abomination, Each the wife of his neighbor you have defiled, And the land you possess!" ²⁷ Thus do you say unto them:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:I live--do not they who [are] in the wastes by the sword fall? And they who [are] on the face of the field, To the beast I have given for food, And they who are in strongholds and in caves by pestilence die." ²⁸ And I have made the land a desolation and an astonishment, And ceased has the excellency of its strength, And desolated have been mountains of Israel, Without any one passing through." ²⁹ And they have known that I [am] Yahweh, In My making the land a desolation and an astonishment, For all their abominations that they have done." ³⁰ And you, son of man, the sons of your people who are speaking about you, By the walls, and in openings of the houses, Have spoken one with another, each with his brother, Saying:Come in, I pray you, And hear what [is] the word that comes out from Yahweh." ³¹ And they come in unto you as the coming in of a people, And they sit before you--My people, And have heard your words, and they do them not, For doting loves with their mouth they are making, After their dishonest gain their heart is going." ³² And lo, you [are] to them as a singer of doting loves, A pleasant voice, and playing well on an instrument, And they have heard your words, and they are not doing them." ³³ And in its coming in--lo, it has come, And they have known that a prophet has been in their midst!'"

⁵ And He does not give him any allotment to enjoy in it, nor even a platform for a foot. "And He promises to give it to him for a tenure and to his seed after him, there being no child of his."

⁹ By faith he sojourns in the land of promise as in an alien land, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the joint enjoyers of the allotment of the same promise. "

¹² wherefore, also, were begotten by one, and these of one who is deadened, according as the constellations of heaven in multitude, and as the sand beside the sea shore innumerable."
