⁶ I will give peace in the land, and you will lie down with no one making you tremble; I will eradicate the vicious animal from the land, and no sword shall pass through your land.

²⁹ I shall not drive them out from before you in one year lest the land should become desolate, and the field animal be many against you.

²² I will send the animal of the field against you, and it will bereave you, cut off your domestic beasts and so decrease you that your roads will be desolated.

²⁴ And he looks behind him, and sees them, and declares them vile in the name of Yahweh, and two bears come out of the forest, and rend of them forty and two lads.

²⁵ and it comes to pass, at the commencement of their dwelling there, they have not feared Yahweh, and Yahweh does send among them the lions, and they are destroying among them. ²⁶ And they speak to the king of Asshur, saying, `The nations that you have removed, and do place in the cities of Samaria, have not known the custom of the Elohim of the land, and He sends among them the lions, and lo, they are destroying them, as they do not know the custom of the Elohim of the land..

⁹ `Lo, a son is born to you; he is a man of rest, and I have given rest to him from all his enemies round about, for Solomon is his name, and peace and quietness I give unto Israel in his days;"

²³ For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, And the wild animal of the field will be at peace with you.

¹⁹ When you recline, there will be no trembling, And many will beseech your face.

⁵ As for me, I will lie down that I may sleep; I will awake, for Yahweh, He shall support me.

⁹ Nor shall a lion come there, and a breacher of living things will fail to ascend it. It shall not be found there. Yet the redeemed shall go into it,

⁷ Former of light and Creator of darkness, Maker of good and Creator of evil. I, Yahweh Elohim, made all of these things."

¹⁷ And I have sent on you famine and evil beasts, And they have bereaved you, And pestilence and blood pass over on you, And a sword I do bring in against you, I, Yahweh, have spoken!'"

²¹ `For thus said the Lord Yahweh:Although My four sore judgments--sword, and famine, and wild beast, and pestilence--I have sent unto Jerusalem, to cut off from it man and beast,

²⁵ And I have made for them a covenant of peace, And caused evil beasts to cease out of the land, And they have dwelt in a wilderness confidently, And they have slept in forests."

¹⁸ And I contract for them a covenant in that day with the field life, and with the flyer of the heavens, and the moving animal of the ground. And bow and sword and battle will I break away from the earth, and I will cause them to lie down trustingly."

⁴ And each man sits under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one is causing them to tremble. For the mouth of Yahweh of hosts has spoken,

¹³ The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity nor speak a lie, nor shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth. For they shall graze, and recline, and no one is causing them to tremble."

⁹ Greater shall become the glory of this latter house than the former, says Yahweh of hosts. And in this place will I give peace, (averring is Yahweh of hosts)."

¹⁰ And He will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem. And the bow of battle shall be cut off; and He will speak peace to the nations. And His rule is from sea unto sea and from the stream unto the limits of the land."

²⁷ Peace I am leaving with you. My peace I am giving to you. Not according as the world is giving to you, am I giving to you. Let not your heart be disturbed, neither let it be timid."
