¹⁷ He will cleave it at its wings yet shall not separate it. Then the priest will cause it to fume on the altar over the wood which is on the fire. It is an ascent offering, a fire offering of fragrant odor to Yahweh.

²¹ And smelling is Yahweh Elohim a restful smell. And saying is Yahweh Elohim to His heart, "Not any more will I slight further the ground for the sake of humanity, for the form of the human heart is evil from its youth. Neither again will I smite further all living flesh, as I have done.

¹⁰ And taking is he for Him all these and sundering them is he in the midst, and is putting each sundered part to meet its associate.

⁹ while he shall wash its inwards and its shanks in water. Then the priest will cause the whole to fume on the altar. It is an ascent offering, a fire offering of fragrant odor to Yahweh. ¹⁰ If his approach present is from the flock (from the sheep or from the goats) for an ascent offering, a flawless male is it which he shall bring near.

¹³ and he shall wash the inwards and the shanks in water. Then the priest will bring near the whole and cause it to fume on the altar. It is an ascent offering, a fire offering of fragrant odor to Yahweh.

⁸ He will bring them to the priest who will bring near the one for the sin offering first. The priest will pinch off its head toward its nape yet shall not separate it.

¹⁰ For You shall not forsake my soul in the unseen; You shall not allow Your benign one to see corruption.

⁵⁰ Now Jesus, again crying with a loud voice, lets out the spirit."

³⁰ When, then, Jesus took the vinegar, He said, "It is accomplished!And reclining His head, He gives up the spirit."

²⁵ Who was given up because of our offenses, and was roused because of our justifying."

⁶ In ascent approaches and those concerning sin Thou dost not delight. ⁷ Then said I, "Lo! I am arriving-In the summary of the scroll it is written concerning Me-To do Thy will, O God." ⁸ Further up, when saying that "Sacrifice and approach present and ascent approaches and those concerning sin Thou dost not will, neither dost Thou delight in them(which are being offered according to law), ⁹ then He has declared, "Lo! I am arriving to do Thy will, O God!He is despatching the first, that He should be establishing the second." ¹⁰ By which will we are hallowed through the approach present of the body of Jesus Christ once for all time. ¹¹ And every chief priest, indeed, stands ministering day by day, and offering often the same sacrifices, which never can take sins from about us." ¹² Yet This One, when offering one sacrifice for sins, is seated to a finality at the right hand of God,

¹⁵ Through Him, then, we may be offering up the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips avowing His name." ¹⁶ Now of well doing and contributing be not forgetful, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."

¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a flawless and unspotted lamb, ²⁰ foreknown, indeed, before the disruption of the world, yet manifested in the last times because of you, who through Him are believing in God, ²¹ Who rouses Him from among the dead and is giving Him glory, so that your faith and expectation is to be in God."

¹⁸ seeing that Christ also, for our sakes, once died concerning sins, the just for the sake of the unjust, that He may be leading us to God; being put to death, indeed, in flesh, yet vivified in spirit,
