⁴ He has positioned His bow like an enemy, setting His right hand like a foe; And He is killing all that is coveted by the eye in the tent of the daughter of Zion; He has poured out His fury like fire."

²¹ `Go, seek Yahweh for me, and for him who is left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found, for great [is] the fury of Yahweh that is poured on us, because that our fathers kept not the word of Yahweh, to do according to all that is written on this book..

²⁵ because that they have forsaken Me, and make perfume to other elohims, so as to provoke Me with all the works of their hands, and poured out is My fury upon this place, and it is not quenched.

⁴ For the arrows of Him Who Suffices are in me; Their venom is what my spirit has been drinking; Frightenings from Eloah are arrayed against me.

¹² I was at ease, and He quashed me; He held me by the nape of my neck, And He shattered me; He set me up as His target. ¹³ His multitudes surround me; He splits open my innermost being and does not spare; He pours out my bile on the earth. ¹⁴ He breaches upon me, breach adjoining breach; He runs upon me like a master of war.

²⁵ And He will pour out the fury of His anger on him, and strengthen the battle. And it will set him aflame round about. Yet he will not know that it shall consume among them. Yet they will not lay it to heart."

¹⁷ Rouse yourself! Rouse yourself! Rise, Jerusalem, who has drunk from the hand of Yahweh the cup of His fury. The dregs of the tremorous cup you drink, have you wrung out." ¹⁸ None is conducting her, of all the sons she bears. And no one is holding fast by her hand, of all the sons she brings up." ¹⁹ Two things, they are meeting you. Who will condole with you? The devastation and the breaking and the famine and the sword--who will comfort you? ²⁰ Your sons swoon. They lie at the head of all the streets, as an antelope in a noose, full of the fury of Yahweh, the rebuke of your Elohim."

⁶ And I am trampling peoples in My anger. And I am making them drunk in My fury, and down to the earth am I bringing their gore."

¹⁰ Yet they rebelled and grieved His holy spirit, and He is turning into their enemy, and He fights against them."

⁴ Be circumcised to Yahweh, And turn aside the foreskins of your heart, O man of Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, Lest My fury go out as fire, and has burned, And there is none quenching, Because of the evil of your doings."

²⁰ Therefore, thus said the Lord Yahweh, Lo, Mine anger and My fury is poured out on this place, On man, and beast, and on tree of the field, And on fruit of the ground, And it has burned, and it is not quenched."

⁵ And I--I have fought against you, With a stretched-out hand, and with a strong arm, And in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath,

¹² O house of David, thus said Yahweh:Decide you judgment at morning, And deliver the plundered from the hand of the oppressor, Lest My fury go forth as fire, And has burned, and none is quenching, Because of the evil of your doings."

¹⁴ all loving you have forgotten you, You they do not seek, For with the stroke of an enemy I smote you, The chastisement of a fierce one, Because of the abundance of your iniquity, Mighty have been your sins!"

⁷ if so be their supplication does fall before Yahweh, and they turn back each from his evil way, for great [is] the anger and the fury that Yahweh has spoken concerning this people.'"

⁵ Yahweh has become like an enemy; He has swallowed up Israel; He has swallowed up all her citadels; He has ruined its fortresses; And He is multiplying, in the daughter of Judah, complaint and complaining."

³ Surely against me again and again He is turning His hand all the day.

¹² He positions His bow and is setting me as a target for the arrow; ¹³ He pierces my innermost being with the sons of His quiver.

¹ How the gold is tarnished! the good certified gold is altered; The holy stones are strewn about at the head of all the streets.

¹³ And completed has been Mine anger, And I have caused My fury to rest on them, And I have been comforted, And they have known that I, Yahweh, have spoken in My zeal, In My completing My fury on them."

¹² The far-off by pestilence dies, And the near by sword falls, And the left and the besieged by famine dies, And I have completed my fury upon them."

²² As the melting of silver in the midst of a furnace, So are you melted in its midst, And you have known that I, Yahweh, I have poured out My fury upon you.'"

²⁵ And you, son of man, Is it not in the day of My taking from them their strength, The joy of their beauty, the desire of their eyes, And the song of their soul, Their sons and their daughters?

¹⁸ And I do pour out My fury upon them For the blood that they shed on the land, And with their idols they have defiled it."

² An El, jealous and avenging, is Yahweh. An avenger is Yahweh, and possessor of fury. An avenger is Yahweh to His foes, and a transporter is He of his enemies."

⁶ Before His menace, who will stand? And who will rise in the heat of His anger? His fury is poured forth as fire, and the rocks are broken down because of Him."
