¹⁷ and the city has been devoted, it and all that [is] in it, to Yahweh; only Rahab the harlot does live, she and all who [are] with her in the house, for she hid the messengers whom we sent;"

³ And bless those will I who bless you, and those making light of you will I curse. And blessed in you and in your seed are all the families of the ground.

²⁸ Every devoted thing which a man may devote to Yahweh, of all which is his of human and beast and of the field of his holding, it shall not be sold nor redeemed. Every devoted thing, it will be holy of holies to Yahweh. ²⁹ Every doomed one which is doomed of humanity shall not be ransomed; he shall be put to death, yea death.

² Israel vowed a vow to Yahweh and said:If You give, yea give this people into my hand then I will doom their cities. ³ Yahweh heard the voice of Israel and gave the Canaanite into his hand. So he doomed them and their cities; hence one called the name of the place Hormah.

¹⁷ for you shall doom, yea doom them, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Girgashite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, just as Yahweh your Elohim had instructed you,

¹ And Joshua son of Nun sends from Shittim, two men, spies, silently, saying, `Go, see the land--and Jericho;' and they go and come into the house of a woman, a harlot, and her name [is] Rahab, and they lie down there.

⁴ And the woman takes the two men, and hides them, and said thus:`The men came in unto me, and I have not known whence they [are];" ⁵ and it comes to pass--the gate is to [be] shut--in the dark, and the men have gone out; I have not known whither the men have gone; pursue you, hasten after them, for you overtake them;. ⁶ and she has caused them to go up on the roof, and hides them with the flax wood, which is arranged for her on the roof.

²² And they go, and come in to the mountain, and abide there three days until the pursuers have turned back; and the pursuers seek in all the way, and have not found.

²² And to the two men who are spying the land Joshua said, `Go into the house of the woman, the harlot, and bring out thence the woman, and all whom she has, as you have sworn to her.. ²³ And the young man, the spies, go in and bring out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all whom she has; yea, all her families they have brought out, and place them at the outside of the camp of Israel.

¹ And the sons of Israel commit a trespass in the devoted thing, and Achan, son of Carmi, son of Zabdi, son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, takes of the devoted thing, and the anger of Yahweh burns against the sons of Israel.

⁶ and Saul said unto the Kenite, `Go, turn aside, go down from the midst of Amalek, lest I consume you with it, and you did kindness with all the sons of Israel, in their going up out of Egypt;' and the Kenite turns aside from the midst of Amalek.

⁸ and anyone who did not come within three days might, on the counsel of the chiefs and the elders, have all his goods doomed and he himself be separated from the assembly of the sons of deportation.

⁶ The sword of Yahweh will be full of blood. It lubricates itself from the fat of lambs, and from the blood of butting rams and he-goats, from the fat of kidneys of rams. For there shall be a sacrifice to Yahweh in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom."

¹⁰ And that day [is] to the Lord Yahweh of Hosts A day of vengeance, To be avenged of His adversaries, And the sword has devoured, and been satisfied, And it has been watered from their blood, For a sacrifice [is] to the Lord Yahweh of Hosts, In the land of the north, by the river Phrat."

¹⁷ And you, son of man, thus said the Lord Yahweh:Say to the bird--every wing, and to every beast of the field:Be assembled and come in, Be gathered from round about, For My sacrifice that I am sacrificing for you, A great sacrifice on mountains of Israel, And you have eaten flesh, and drunk blood."

¹³ Rise and thresh them, daughter of Zion, for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs copper, and with them you rend nations. And you pulverize many peoples. And you devote to Yahweh their gain, and their estate to the Lord of all the earth."

⁴¹ He who is receiving a prophet in the name of a prophet shall be obtaining a prophet's wages. And he who is receiving a just man in the name of a just man shall be obtaining a just man's wages. ⁴² And whoever should be giving one of these little ones only a cool cup to drink, in the name of a disciple, verily, I am saying to you, by no means should he be losing his wages."

⁴⁰ And, answering, the King shall be declaring to them, 'Verily, I am saying to you, In as much as you do it to one of these, the least of My brethren, you do it to Me.'"

⁷ but we are speaking God's wisdom in a secret, wisdom which has been concealed, which God designates before - before the eons, for our glory,

²² If anyone is not fond of the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be anathema! Maran atha!"

¹⁰ For whoever are of works of law are under a curse, for it written that, Accursed is everyone who is not remaining in all things written in the scroll of the law to do them."

¹² Now the law is not of faith, but who does them "shall be living in them."

¹⁰ For God is not unjust, to be forgetting your work and the love which you display for His name when you serve the saints, and are serving."

³¹ By faith Rahab, the prostitute, perished not with the stubborn, receiving the spies with peace."

²⁵ Now likewise, was not Rahab the prostitute also justified by works when entertaining the messengers and ejecting them by a different way?
