¹ And Joshua rises early in the morning, and they journey from Shittim, and come in unto the Jordan, he and all the sons of Israel, and they lodge there before they pass over. ² And it comes to pass, at the end of three days, that the authorities pass over into the midst of the camp, ³ and command the people, saying, `When you see the ark of the covenant of Yahweh your Elohim, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you journey from your place, and have gone after it;" <sup>4</sup> only, a distance is between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure; you do not come near unto it, so that you know the way in which you go, for you have not passed over in the way heretofore.. <sup>5</sup> And Joshua said unto the people, `Sanctify yourselves, for to-morrow does Yahweh do in your midst wonders.. ⁶ And Joshua speaks unto the priests, saying, `Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people;' and they take up the ark of the covenant, and go before the people. <sup>7</sup> And Yahweh said unto Joshua, `This day I begin to make you great in the eyes of all Israel, so that they know that as I was with Moses I am with you;" ⁸ and you, you do command the priests bearing the ark of the covenant, saying, When you come unto the extremity of the waters of the Jordan--in the Jordan you stand.. ⁹ And Joshua said unto the sons of Israel, `Come nigh hither, and hear the words of Yahweh your Elohim;" <sup>10</sup> and Joshua said, `By this you know that the living El [is] in your midst, and He does certainly dispossess from before you the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Hivite, and the Perizzite, and the Girgashite, and the Amorite, and the Jebusite. ¹¹ lo, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is passing over before you into Jordan;" ¹² and now, take for you twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, one man--one man for a tribe;" ¹³ and it has been, at the resting of the soles of the feet of the priests bearing the ark of Yahweh, Lord of all the earth, in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan are cut off--the waters which are coming down from above--and they stand--one heap.. ¹⁴ And it comes to pass, in the journeying of the people from their tents to pass over the Jordan, and of the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people, ¹⁵ and at those bearing the ark coming in unto the Jordan, and the feet of the priests bearing the ark have been dipped in the extremity of the waters (and the Jordan is full over all its banks all the days of harvest) -. ¹⁶ that the waters stand; those coming down from above have risen--one heap, very far above Adam the city, which [is] at the side of Zaretan; and those going down by the sea of the plain, the Salt Sea, have been completely cut off; and the people have passed through over-against Jericho;" ¹⁷ and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant of Yahweh stand on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan--established, and all Israel are passing over on dry ground till that all the nation has completed to pass over the Jordan.

³ All these are joined at the vale of the salt fields. (It is now the salt sea.)

¹⁵ Yet you shall come to your forefathers in peace, and be entombed at a good grey-haired age. ¹⁶ And in the fourth generation they shall return hither, for the depravity of the Amorites has not been repaid hitherto. ¹⁷ When the sun comes to set, and twilight comes, then, behold, a smoking stove, and a torch of fire which passes between these severed parts. ¹⁸ In that day Yahweh contracted a covenant with Abram, saying, "To your seed I give this land, from the stream of Egypt as far as the great stream, the stream Euphrates,

³ And early in the morning is Abraham rising, and is saddling his ass, and is taking two of his lads with him, and Isaac, his son, and is rending the wood for the ascent offering. And rising is he and going, and came to the place of which the Elohim apprized him on the third day.

² And seeing is Jacob the face of Laban, and behold! It is not with him as heretofore.

⁵ Then he said: Do not come near hither! Ease your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing, this is ground of holiness.

⁸ Hence I have descended to rescue them from the hand of Egypt and to bring them up from that land to a land good and wide, to a land gushing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Girgashite, the Hivite and the Jebusite.

¹⁰ Then Moses said to Yahweh: O, my Lord! I am no man of words even from yesterday, even from three days ago, even since You spoke to Your servant, for I am heavy of mouth and heavy of tongue.

²¹ then Yahweh was going before them by day in a column of cloud to guide them along the way, and by night in a column of fire, to give light for them to go by day and night. ²² The column of cloud by day and the column of fire by night did not remove from the presence of the people.

¹³ Then Moses said to the people: Do not fear! Station yourselves and see the salvation of Yahweh which He shall work for you today, for you see the Egyptians today, you shall not anymore see them again unto the eon.

¹⁹ Hence the messenger of the One, Elohim, who was going before the camp of Israel, journeyed and went behind them. Also the column of cloud journeyed from before them and stood behind them. ²⁰ Thus he came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel. Over there came the cloud and darkness, yet here he lightened up the night. So this one did not come near to that one all the night. ²¹ Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and, by a strong east wind all the night, Yahweh caused the sea to go. Thus He made in the sea a drained area when the waters were split apart. ²² Then the sons of Israel entered into the midst of the sea on dry ground, and the waters were to them a wall on their right and on their left.

⁷ Hence he called the name of the place Massah and Meribah on account of the contention of the sons of Israel and on account of their probing Yahweh, saying, Is Yahweh among us or is He not?

¹⁰ Then Yahweh said to Moses: Go to the people, and you will hallow them today and tomorrow; let them rinse their garment. ¹¹ and come to be prepared for the third day; for on the third day Yahweh shall descend on Mount Sinai before the eyes of all the people. ¹² Also you shall set a boundary for the people round about, saying: Guard yourselves concerning ascent into the mountain or touching its outmost part. Everyone touching the mountain shall be put to death, yea death.

²⁷ I shall send the dread of Me before you, I will discomfit all the people against whom you shall come, and I will make all your enemies turn the nape of their necks to you. ²⁸ I will send the hornet before you, and it will drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite and the Hittite from before you. ²⁹ I shall not drive them out from before you in one year lest the land should become desolate, and the field animal be many against you. ³⁰ Little by little shall I drive them out from before you until you are fruitful and you are allotted the land.

² And I will send before you My messenger. I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite.

³ Then Moses said to Aaron:That is what Yahweh spoke of, saying:Among those near Me shall I be hallowed, and in the presence of all the people shall I be glorified. Aaron was still;"

⁷ Hence sanctify yourselves and become holy, for I, Yahweh, am your Elohim.

¹⁰ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land which I am giving to you and reap its harvest, you will bring a sheaf of the firstfruit of your harvest to the priest. ¹¹ He will wave the sheaf before Yahweh for acceptance on your behalf. From the morrow after the first sabbath the priest shall wave it. ¹² On the day when you cause the sheaf to wave you will offer a flawless year-old he-lamb as an ascent offering to Yahweh, ¹³ together with its approach present of two tenths of an ephah of flour mingled with oil, a fire offering to Yahweh, a fragrant odor, and its libation of wine, a fourth of a hin. ¹⁴ No bread or toasted grain or groats of the crop shall you eat until this very day, until you bring the approach present of your Elohim. It shall be an eonian statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings. ¹⁵ You will count off for yourselves from the morrow after the first sabbath, from the day you bring the sheaf of the wave offering:there shall be seven flawless sabbaths. ¹⁶ Until the morrow after the seventh sabbath you shall count off fifty days; then you will bring near an approach present of new grain to Yahweh.

¹⁵ When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy things with all the furnishings of the holy things when the camp is to journey, then afterward the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it. Yet they shall not touch the holy things lest they die. These are the load of the sons of Kohath in the tent of appointment.

³³ They journeyed from the mount of Yahweh a way of three days while the coffer of the covenant of Yahweh was journeying before them a way of three days to explore a resting place for them.

⁸ The people went to and fro, and picked it up, ground it between millstones or crushed it in a crusher, cooked it in a kettle and made ember cakes from it. Its taste was like the taste of cakes fresh with oil.

¹⁵ If You put this people to death as one man, then the nations who heard the report of You will say, saying.

²⁸ Over the erring soul when he sins through inadvertence the priest will make a propitiatory shelter before Yahweh, to make a propitiatory shelter over him, and it will be pardoned him. ²⁹ For the native among the sons of Israel and for the sojourner sojourning in their midst, one law shall apply for you, to anyone doing it through inadvertence. ³⁰ Yet the soul who is doing anything with a high hand, from the native and from the sojourner, he is taunting Yahweh; that soul will be cut off from among his people,

¹ While Israel dwelt in Shittim, the people started to commit prostitution with the daughters of Moab,

³ Your southward edge will be from the wilderness of Zin along the sides of Edom, and your southward boundary will be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward;"

¹ These are the words that Moses spoke to all Israel in Transjordan in the wilderness, in the Aravah opposite Suph between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth and Di-zahab.

¹⁷ In the west the Aravah with the Jordan was the boundary from Chinnereth as far as the sea of the Aravah, the Salt Sea, below the slopes of the Pisgah ridge toward sunrise.

¹ Now, Israel, hearken to the statutes and to the judgments that I am teaching you today, to obey them, that you may live and may enter and tenant the land that Yahweh Elohim of your fathers is giving to you.

²⁶ For who is there of all flesh that has heard the voice of the living Elohim speaking from the midst of the fire as we have, and he still lives?

¹ When Yahweh your Elohim brings you into the land where you are about to enter in order to tenant it, and He eases many nations out before your face, the Hittite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, seven nations more numerous and substantial than you,

⁸ You shall not do according to all that we are doing here today, each man everything that is upright in his own eye.

¹ You are to observe the month of Aviv and prepare a passover to Yahweh your Elohim, for in the month of Aviv Yahweh your Elohim brought you forth from Egypt by night. ² So you will sacrifice the passover to Yahweh your Elohim from the flock and the herd in the place where Yahweh your Elohim shall choose to tabernacle His name. ³ You shall not eat anything leavened with it. Seven days shall you eat unleavened cakes with it, the bread of humiliation (for in nervous haste you went forth from the country of Egypt), that you may remember the day of your going forth from the country of Egypt all the days of your life. ⁴ Let no yeast be seen with you in all your territory seven days. And let none of the flesh that you shall sacrifice in the evening on the first day lodge until morning. ⁵ You cannot sacrifice the passover within any one of your gates which Yahweh your Elohim is giving to you, ⁶ but rather only in the place that Yahweh your Elohim shall choose to tabernacle His name. There shall you sacrifice the passover in the evening as the sun sets, the appointed time of your going forth from Egypt. ⁷ Then you will cook and eat in the place that Yahweh your Elohim shall choose, and you may turn around in the morning and go to your tents. ⁸ Six days shall you eat unleavened cakes, and on the seventh day, a day of restraint to Yahweh your Elohim, you shall do no occupational work at all. ⁹ You shall count off seven weeks for yourself. From the start of the scythe in the raised grain shall you start to count off seven weeks.

⁹ Then Moses wrote this law and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, the carriers of the coffer of the covenant of Yahweh, and to all the elders of Israel.

¹⁷ My anger will grow hot against them on that day, and I will forsake them and conceal My face from them; then they will come to be devoured, and many evils and distresses will find them. Then they will say on that day:Is it not because our Elohim is not among us that these evils have found us?

²⁵ that Moses instructed the Levites, the carriers of the coffer of the covenant of Yahweh, saying. ²⁶ You are to take this scroll of the law, and you must place it by the side of the coffer of the covenant of Yahweh your Elohim, and it will come to be there as a testimony against you,

⁵ `No man does station himself before you all days of your life; as I have been with Moses, I am with you, I do not fail you, nor forsake you;"

¹⁰ And Joshua commands the authorities of the people, saying, ¹¹ `Pass over into the midst of the camp, and command the people, saying, Prepare for yourselves provision, for within three days you are passing over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which Yahweh your Elohim is giving to you to possess it..

¹⁴ On that day has Yahweh made Joshua great in the eyes of all Israel, and they reverence him, as they reverenced Moses, all days of his life.

¹⁸ And it comes to pass, in the coming up of the priests bearing the ark of the covenant of Yahweh out of the midst of the Jordan--the soles of the feet of the priests have been drawn up into the dry ground--and the waters of the Jordan turn back to their place, and go as heretofore over all its banks.

¹³ `Rise, sanctify the people, and you have said, Sanctify yourselves for to-morrow; for thus said Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, A devoted thing [is] in your midst, O Israel, you are not able to stand before your enemies till your turning aside of the devoted thing out of your midst;"

² and to them the south border is at the extremity of the salt sea, from the bay which is looking southward;"

⁴⁵ there has not fallen a thing of all the good thing which Yahweh spoke unto the house of Israel--the whole has come.

³¹ And Phinehas son of Eleazar the priest said unto the sons of Reuben, and unto the sons of Gad, and unto the sons of Manasseh, `To-day we have known that Yahweh [is] in our midst, because you have not committed against Yahweh this trespass--then you have delivered the sons of Israel out of the hand of Yahweh..

⁵ and he said, `Peace; to sacrifice to Yahweh I have come, sanctify yourselves, and you have come in with me to the sacrifice;' and he sanctifies Jesse and his sons, and calls them to the sacrifice.

²⁶ And David speaks unto the men who are standing by him, saying, `What is done to the man who smites this Philistine, and has turned aside reproach from Israel? for who [is] this uncircumcised Philistine that he has reproached the ranks of the living Elohim?.

³ And they cause the ark of Elohim to ride on a new cart, and lift it up from the house of Abinadab, which [is] in the height, and Uzzah and Ahio sons of Abinadab are leading the new cart;"

¹³ And it comes to pass, when those bearing the ark of Yahweh have stepped six steps, that he sacrifices an ox and a fatling.

³⁶ And it comes to pass, at the going up of the [evening -]present, that Elijah the prophet comes nigh and said, `Yahweh, Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, to-day let it be known that You [are] Elohim in Israel, and I Your servant, that by Your word I have done the whole of these things;" ³⁷ answer me, O Yahweh, answer me, and this people does know that You [are] Yahweh Elohim; and You have turned their heart backward..

⁴ `It may be Yahweh your Elohim does hear all the words of the chief of the butlers with which the king of Asshur his lord has sent him to reproach the living Elohim, and has decided concerning the words that Yahweh your Elohim has heard, and you have lifted up prayer for the remnant that is found..

¹¹ And David calls to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, and to the Levites, to Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab, ¹² and said to them, `You [are] heads of the fathers of the Levites; sanctify yourselves, you and your brethren, and you have brought up the ark of Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, unto [the place] I have prepared for it;"

²⁵ and Yahweh makes Solomon exceedingly great before the eyes of all Israel, and puts upon him the honor of the kingdom that has not been on any king over Israel before him.

¹ And strengthen himself does Solomon son of David over his kingdom, and Yahweh his Elohim [is] with him, and makes him exceedingly great.

⁸ and with them the Levites, Shemaiah, and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijath, and Tob-Adonijah, the Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, the priests. ⁹ And they teach in Judah, and with them [is] the Book of the Law of Yahweh, and they go round about into all cities of Judah, and teach among the people.

⁴ and brings in the priests and the Levites, and gathers them to the broad place to the east. ⁵ And he said to them, `Hear me, O Levites, now, sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of Yahweh, Elohim of your fathers, and bring out the impurity from the sanctuary, <sup>6</sup> for our fathers have trespassed, and done that which is evil in the eyes of Yahweh our Elohim, and forsake him, and turn round their faces from the tabernacle of Yahweh, and give the neck. <sup>7</sup> `Also--they have shut the doors of the porch, and quench the lamps, and perfume they have not made, and burnt-offering have not caused to ascend in the sanctuary to the Elohim of Israel, ⁸ and the wrath of Yahweh is on Judah and Jerusalem, and He gives them for a trembling, for an astonishment, and for a hissing, as you are seeing with your eyes. ⁹ And lo, fallen have our fathers by the sword, and our sons, and our daughters, and our wives [are] in captivity for this. ¹⁰ `Now--with my heart--to make a covenant before Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, and the fierceness of His anger does turn back from us. ¹¹ My sons, be not now at rest, for on you has Yahweh fixed to stand before Him, to serve Him, and to be to Him ministering and making perfume..

²⁷ And Hezekiah said to cause the burnt-offering to ascend on the altar; and at the time the burnt-offering began--began the song of Yahweh, and the trumpets, even by the hands of the instruments of David king of Israel.

³⁰ And Hezekiah the king said, and the princes, to the Levites to give praise to Yahweh in the words of David, and of Asaph the seer, and they praise--unto joy, and they bow, and do obeisance.

¹² Also, in Judah has the hand of Elohim been to give to them one heart to do the command of the king and of the heads, in the matter of Yahweh;"

⁹ and Hezekiah inquires at the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps, ¹⁰ and Azariah the head priest, of the house of Zadok, speaks unto him, and said, `From the beginning of the bringing of the heave-offering to the house of Yahweh, [there is] to eat, and to be satisfied, and to leave abundantly, for Yahweh has blessed His people, and that left [is] this store..

² and he stations the priests over their charges, and strengthens them for the service of the house of Yahweh, ³ and said to the Levites--who are teaching all Israel--who are sanctified to Yahweh, `Put the holy ark in the house that Solomon son of David king of Israel built; it is not to you a burden on the shoulder. `Now, serve Yahweh your Elohim, and His people Israel, ⁴ and prepare, by the house of your fathers, according to your courses, by the writing of David king of Israel, and by the writing of Solomon his son, ⁵ and stand in the sanctuary, by the divisions of the house of the fathers of your brethren, sons of the people, and the portion of the house of a father of the Levites, ⁶ and slaughter the passover-offering and sanctify yourselves, and prepare for your brethren, to do according to the word of Yahweh by the hand of Moses..

²⁴ and heads of the Levites:Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua son of Kadmiel, and their brethren, [are] over-against them, to give praise, to give thanks, by command of David the man of Elohim, charge over-against charge. ²⁵ Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, [are] gatekeepers, keeping charge in the gatherings of the gates. ²⁶ These [are] in the days of Joiakim son of Jeshua, son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe. ²⁷ And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them in to Jerusalem, to make the dedication even with gladness, and with thanksgivings, and with singing, [with] cymbals, psalteries, and with harps;" ²⁸ and sons of the singers are gathered together even from the circuit round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi,

²² And I say to the Levites, that they be cleansed, and, coming in, keeping the gates, to sanctify the sabbath-day. Also, this, remember for me, O my Elohim, and have pity on me, according to the abundance of Your kindness.

²⁸ And [one] of the sons of Joiada son of Eliashib the high priest, [is] son-in-law to Sanballat the Horonite, and I cause him to flee from off me.

⁵ And it came to be when the feast days were concluded, that Job would send and have them hallowed. He would rise early in the morning and offer up ascent offerings in number as them all. For Job said, Perhaps my sons have sinned and have scorned Elohim in their heart. Thus Job was doing for all these days.

¹⁷ What is a mortal that You should make a great thing of him, Or that You should set Your heart on him?

¹¹ Who can confront Me and would fare well? Whatever is under the entire heavens, it is Mine.

² You, by Your hand, You evicted the nations, And You planted them there. You brought evil to the national groups, And You sent them in." ³ For neither by their sword did they tenant the land, Nor did their arm bring salvation for them. But it was Your right hand and Your arm of power and the light of Your countenance, For You held them dear."

⁶ He turns the sea to dry land. In the stream they are passing on foot. There let us rejoice in Him.

¹⁵ You Yourself rent open spring and watercourse; You Yourself dried up the perennial streams.

¹⁹ Your way was through the sea, And Your trails led through vast waters, Yet Your heel-prints were not known."

¹³ He rent the sea and caused them to pass over, And He made the waters stand up like a waterspout."

¹⁰ For You are great and are doing marvelous works; You are Elohim by Yourself alone.

⁷ El is greatly terrifying among the council of the saints, And fear inspiring to all those round about Him."

⁸ Do arise, O Yahweh, to Your resting place, You and the coffer of Your strength."

¹² My people--its exactors are clean-gleaners, and the exactors rule among My people. Those making you happy lead you astray, and the way of your paths they confuse."

¹⁴ Wherefore, Yahweh Himself will give a sign to you:Behold! the damsel shall be pregnant and bear a son, and you call his name Emmanu-El."

⁸ He swallows up death permanently. And my Lord Yahweh will wipe every tear off of all faces, and the reproach of His people will He take away off all the earth, for the mouth of Yahweh speaks."

⁶ The foot shall tramp on it, the feet of the humble, the footfalls of the poor."

³³ for arranged since yesterday was the pyre. Moreover it is prepared, yea prepared, for the king, He deepens, He widens its abode for fire and much wood. The breath of Yahweh, as a watercourse of sulphur, is consuming in it."

⁵ For your Possessor is your Maker. Yahweh of hosts is His name. And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel. The Elohim of the entire earth shall He be called.

¹⁶ And it has come to pass, when you are multiplied, And have been fruitful in the land, In those days--an affirmation of Yahweh, They say not any more, `The ark of the covenant of Yahweh,' Nor does it go up on the heart, Nor do they remember concerning it, Nor do they inspect, nor is it made again."

¹³ And now, because of your doing all these works, An affirmation of Yahweh, And I speak unto you, rising early and speaking, And you have not hearkened, And I call you, and you have not answered,

⁷ Who does not fear You, king of the nations? For to You it is becoming, For among all the wise of the nations, And in all their kingdom there is none like You."

¹⁰ And Yahweh [is] an Elohim of truth, He [is] a living Elohim, and a king eonian, From His wrath shake does the earth, And nations endure not His indignation."

⁵ For--with footmen you have run, And they weary you, And how do you fret yourself with horses! Even in the land of peace, [In which] you are confident--And how do you in the rising of Jordan!"

³ `From the thirteenth year of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah, and unto this day--this three and twentieth year--has the word of Yahweh been unto me, and I speak unto you, rising early and speaking, and you have not hearkened;"

⁵ To hearken to the words of My servants the prophets, whom I am sending unto you, yea, rising early and sending, and you have not hearkened,

¹⁹ Lo, as a lion he comes up, Because of the rising of the Jordan, Unto the enduring habitation, But I cause to rest, I cause him to run from off her, And who is chosen? concerning her I lay a charge, For who is like Me? and who convenes Me? And who [is] this shepherd who stands before Me?

²⁶ It is good that one should wait in stillness for the salvation of Yahweh;

¹⁰ Yet the number of the sons of Israel shall become as the sand of the sea, which is not being measured nor numbered. And it comes to be in the place in which it was being said to them, Not My people are you, there shall it be said to them, sons of the living El."

¹⁶ Gather the people! Hallow the assembly! Convene the elders! Gather the unweaned children and the sucklings at the breasts! The bridegroom shall fare forth from his chamber, and the bride from her canopy!"

¹³ The breacher ascends before them; they breach, and they will pass to the gateway and fare forth by it. And their king shall pass before them, and Yahweh at their head."

¹³ Rise and thresh them, daughter of Zion, for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs copper, and with them you rend nations. And you pulverize many peoples. And you devote to Yahweh their gain, and their estate to the Lord of all the earth."

⁵ My people, remember, I pray, what Balak, king of Moab, counseled, and what Balaam, son of Beor, answered him, from Shittim unto Gilgal, that you may know the righteousness of Yahweh."

¹⁵ You tread in the sea with Your horses, the turbid mass of vast waters."

¹¹ Yahweh will be fearful against them, for He will make all the elohim of the earth lean; and all the coastlands of the nations, each man from his place, shall worship Him."

¹⁴ And he is saying, These are the two sons of clear oil who are standing by the Lord of the entire earth."

⁵ And the messenger is answering and saying to me, These are the four spirits of the heavens faring forth from stationing themselves with the Lord of the entire earth."

⁹ Then Yahweh shall come to be King over the entire earth. In that day Yahweh is coming to be one, and His name one."

¹⁹ And, approaching, one scribe said to Him, "Teacher, I will be following Thee wheresoever Thou mayest come away."

²⁶ And He is saying to them, "Why are you timid, scant of faith?Then, being roused, He rebukes the winds and the sea, and there came a great calm." ²⁷ Now the men marvel, saying, "What manner of Man is this, that the winds as well as the sea are obeying Him?

²⁴ Now the ship was already many stadia away from the land, in the midst of the sea, being tormented by the billows, for the wind was contrary." ²⁵ Now in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea." ²⁶ Now the disciples, perceiving Him walking on the sea, were disturbed, saying that "It is a phantom!And from fear they cry out." ²⁷ Now straightway Jesus speaks to them, saying, "Courage! It is I. Fear not!" ²⁸ Yet, answering Him, Peter said, "Lord, if it is Thou, order me to come to Thee on the waters." ²⁹ Now He said, "Come!And, descending from the ship, Peter walks on the waters, to come to Jesus." ³⁰ Yet, observing the strong wind, he was afraid. And, beginning to sink, he cries, saying, "Lord, save me!" ³¹ Now immediately Jesus, stretching out His hand, got hold of him and is saying to him, "Scant of faith, why do you hesitate? ³² And at their going up into the ship, the wind flags." ³³ Now those in the ship worship Him, saying, "Truly, God's Son art Thou!"

¹⁶ Now answering, Simon Peter said, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."

²⁴ Then Jesus said to His disciples: "If anyone is wanting to come after Me, let him renounce himself and pick up his cross and follow Me."

³⁵ And in the morning, rising very early, still in the night, He came out and came away into a desolate place, and there He prayed."

⁶⁹ And we believe and know that Thou art the Holy One of God."

² In My Father's house are many abodes; yet if not I would have told you, for I am going to make ready a place for you." ³ And if I should be going and making ready a place for you, I am coming again and I will be taking you along to Myself, that where I am, you also may be."

¹ These things speaks Jesus, and lifting His eyes to heaven, He said, "Father, come has the hour. Glorify Thy Son, that Thy Son should be glorifying Thee,

¹⁹ And for their sakes I am hallowing Myself, that they also may be hallowed by the truth."

⁴⁴ The tabernacle of the testimony was with our fathers in the wilderness, according as He prescribes, Who speaks to Moses, to make it according to the model which he had seen, ⁴⁵ which also our fathers who succeed him, with Joshua, led into the tenure of the nations, whom God thrusts out from the face of our fathers, till the days of David,

²⁴ yet to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ, the power of God and the wisdom of God, ²⁵ for the stupidity of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men."

² I have declared before, and am predicting as when being present the second time, and now, being absent, to those having sinned before and to all the rest, that if I should be coming again, I shall not spare, " ³ since you are seeking a test of Christ speaking in me, Who is not weak for you, but powerful among you. "

²⁰ in accord with my premonition and expectation, that in nothing shall I be put to shame, but with all boldness, as always, now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death."

⁹ Wherefore, also, God highly exalts Him, and graces Him with the name that is above every name, ¹⁰ that in the name of Jesus every knee should be bowing, celestial and terrestrial and subterranean, ¹¹ and every tongue should be acclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord, for the glory of God, the Father."

⁹ for they are reporting concerning us, what kind of an entrance we have had to you, and how you turn back to God from idols, to be slaving for the living and true God,

²⁰ where the Forerunner, Jesus, entered for our sakes, becoming Chief Priest according to the order of Melchizedek for the eon."

⁴ having the golden censer and the ark of the covenant, covered about everywhere with gold, in which was the golden urn having the manna, and Aaron's staff which germinates, and the tablets of the covenant."

³¹ Fearful is it to be falling into the hands of the living God!

²⁹ By faith they crossed the Red Sea as through dry land, attempting which, the Egyptians were swallowed up."

²⁸ Wherefore, accepting an unshakable kingdom, we may have grace through which we may be offering divine service in a way well pleasing to God, with piety and dread, ²⁹ for our God is also a consuming fire.

⁴ These are they who were not polluted with women, for they are celibates. These are those who are following the Lambkin wherever It should be going. These are bought from mankind, a firstfruit to God and the Lambkin."
