²⁰ When you forsake Yahweh, and have served elohims of a stranger, then He has turned back and done evil to you, and consumed you, after that He has done good to you..

¹² `But--if you at all turn back and have cleaved to the remnant of these nations, these who are left with you, and intermarried with them, and gone in to them, and they to you, <sup>13</sup> know certainly that Yahweh your Elohim is not continuing to dispossess these nations from before you, and they have been to you for a gin, and for a snare, and for a scourge, in your sides, and for thorns in your eyes, till you perish from off this good ground which Yahweh your Elohim has given to you. <sup>14</sup> `And lo, I am going, to-day, in the way of all the earth, and you have known--with all your heart, and with all your soul--that there has not fallen one thing of all the good things which Yahweh your Elohim has spoken concerning you; the whole have come to you; there has not failed of it one thing. ¹⁵ `And it has been, as there has come upon you all the good thing which Yahweh your Elohim has spoken unto you, so does Yahweh bring upon you the whole of the evil thing, till His destroying you from off this good ground which Yahweh your Elohim has given to you;"

⁹ `And you, Solomon, my son, know the Elohim of your father, and serve Him with a perfect heart, and with a willing mind, for all hearts is Yahweh seeking, and every imagination of the thoughts He is understanding; if you do seek Him, He is found of you, and if you do forsake Him, He casts you off for ever.

² and he goes out before Asa, and said to him, `Hear, me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; Yahweh [is] with you--in your being with Him, and if you seek Him, He is found of you, and if you forsake Him, He forsakes you;"

²² For I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to help us against enemy attack on the way, since we had told the king, saying:The hand of our Elohim is over all those seeking Him for good; yet His strength and His anger are against all those forsaking Him.

²⁸ And the breaking of transgressors and sinners shall be together, and forsakers of Yahweh shall be finished."

¹⁰ Yet they rebelled and grieved His holy spirit, and He is turning into their enemy, and He fights against them."

¹¹ And you who are forsaking Yahweh, forgetting My holy mountain, arranging for Gad a table, and filling for Minni a blend;" ¹² I count you for the sword, and all of you for slaughter shall be hacked down. Because I called, yet you did not answer, I spoke, yet you did not hearken. And you are doing evil in My eyes. And what I do not desire, that you choose."

¹³ The hope of Israel [is] Yahweh, All forsaking You are ashamed, And `My apostates' in the earth are written, For they have forsaken Yahweh, A fountain of living waters."

²⁴ And in the turning back of the righteous from his righteousness, And he has done perversity, According to all the abominations That the wicked has done, he does--thus he lives, All his righteousnesses that he has done are not remembered, For his trespass that he has trespassed, And for his sin that he has sinned, For them he does die."

⁴² Now God turns and gives them up to be offering divine service to the host of heaven, according as it is written in the scroll of the prophets: Do you not offer Me slain victims and sacrifices forty years in the wilderness, house of Israel?

²⁶ For at our sinning voluntarily after obtaining the recognition of the truth, it is no longer leaving a sacrifice concerned with sins, ²⁷ but a certain fearful waiting for judging and fiery jealousy, about to be eating the hostile."

³⁸ Now My "just one by faith shall be living,and "If he should ever be shrinking, My soul is not delighting in him."
