¹ After these things there was a festival of the Jews, and Jesus went up into Jerusalem." ² Now there is, in Jerusalem, at the sheep gate, a pool, which is termed, in Hebrew, "Bethesda,having five porticos." ³ In these were laid down a multitude of the infirm, blind, lame, withered, waiting for the stirring of the water." ⁴ (For a messenger of the Lord at a certain season bathed in the pool and disturbed the water. He, then, who first steps in after the disturbing of the water, became sound of whatsoever disease he was held.)" ⁵ Now a certain man was there having been in his infirmity thirty-eight years. ⁶ Jesus, perceiving this one lying down, and knowing that he has already spent much time, is saying to him, "Do you want to become sound? ⁷ The infirm man answered Him, "Lord, I have no man that, whenever the water may be disturbed, should be casting me into the pool. Now in the time in which I am coming another is descending before me." ⁸ Jesus is saying to him, "Rouse and pick up your pallet and walk!" ⁹ And immediately the man became sound, and he was roused and picks up his pallet and walked. Now it was a sabbath on that day." ¹⁰ The Jews, then, said to him who has been cured, "It is a sabbath, and it is not allowed you to pick up your pallet!" ¹¹ Yet he answered them, "He Who makes me sound, that One said to me, 'Pick up your pallet and walk.'" ¹² They ask him then, "Who is the man who said to you, 'Pick up your pallet and walk'? ¹³ Now he who is healed had not perceived Who He is, for Jesus evades him, a throng being in the place." ¹⁴ After these things Jesus is finding him in the sanctuary, and said to him, "Lo! you have become sound. By no means longer be sinning, lest something worse may be coming to you." ¹⁵ And the man, then, came away and informs the Jews that Jesus is the One Who makes him sound." ¹⁶ And therefore the Jews persecuted Jesus and sought to kill Him, for He did these things on a sabbath." ¹⁷ Yet Jesus answers them, "My Father is working hitherto, and I am working." ¹⁸ Therefore, then, the Jews sought the more to kill Him, for He not only annulled the sabbath, but said His own Father also is God, making Himself equal to God." ¹⁹ Jesus, then, answers and said to them, "Verily, verily, I am saying to you, The Son can not be doing anything of Himself if it is not what He should be observing the Father doing, for whatever He may be doing, this the Son also is doing likewise." ²⁰ For the Father is fond of the Son and is showing Him all that He is doing. "And greater works than these shall He be showing Him, that you may be marveling." ²¹ For even as the Father is rousing the dead and vivifying, thus the Son also is vivifying whom He will." ²² For neither is the Father judging anyone, but has given all judging to the Son, ²³ that all may be honoring the Son, according as they are honoring the Father. He who is not honoring the Son is not honoring the Father Who sends Him." ²⁴ Verily, verily, I am saying to you that he who is hearing My word and believing Him Who sends Me, has life eonian and is not coming into judging, but has proceeded out of death into life." ²⁵ Verily, verily, I am saying to you that coming is an hour, and now is, when the dead shall be hearing the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear shall be living." ²⁶ For even as the Father has life in Himself, thus to the Son also He gives to have life in Himself." ²⁷ And He gives Him authority to do judging, seeing that He is a son of mankind." ²⁸ Marvel not at this, for coming is the hour in which all who are in the tombs shall hear His voice, ²⁹ and those who do good shall go out into a resurrection of life, yet those who commit bad things, into a resurrection of judging." ³⁰ I can not do anything of Myself. According as I am hearing am I judging; and My judging is just, for I am not seeking My will, but the will of Him Who sends Me." ³¹ If I should be testifying concerning Myself, is My testimony not true? ³² There is another who is testifying concerning Me, and I am aware that the testimony which he is testifying concerning Me is true." ³³ You have dispatched to John, and he has testified to the truth." ³⁴ Yet I am not getting the testimony from man, but I am saying these things that you may be saved." ³⁵ He was a lamp, burning and appearing, yet you want to exult an hour in its light." ³⁶ Now I have a testimony greater than John's. For the works which the Father has given Me that I should be perfecting them, the works themselves which I am doing are testifying concerning Me that the Father has commissioned Me." ³⁷ And the Father Who sends Me, He has testified concerning Me. Neither have you ever heard His voice nor a perception of Him have you seen." ³⁸ And His word you do not have remaining in you, for that One Whom He commissions, this One you are not believing." ³⁹ Search the scriptures, for in them you are supposing you have life eonian, and those are they which are testifying concerning Me, ⁴⁰ and not willing are you to come to Me that you may have life. ⁴¹ Glory from men I am not getting." ⁴² But I know you, that you have not the love of God in yourselves." ⁴³ I have come in the name of My Father, and you are not getting Me. If another should be coming in his own name, him you will get." ⁴⁴ How can you believe, getting glory from one another, and are not seeking the glory which is from God alone? ⁴⁵ Be not supposing that I shall be accusing you to the Father. He who is accusing you to the Father is Moses, on whom you rely." ⁴⁶ For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he writes concerning Me." ⁴⁷ Now if you are not believing his writings, how shall you be believing My declarations?

²⁶ And saying is the Elohim, "Make will We humanity in Our image, and according to Our likeness, and sway shall they over the fish of the sea, and over the flyer of the heavens, and over the beast, and over all land life, and over every moving animal moving on the land.

¹ And finished are the heavens and the earth and all their host. ² And finishing is the Elohim, on the sixth day, His work which He does. And ceasing is He on the seventh day from all His work which He does.

¹⁵ And enmity am I setting between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He shall hurt your head and you shall hurt his heel.

³ And bless those will I who bless you, and those making light of you will I curse. And blessed in you and in your seed are all the families of the ground.

¹⁸ when Abraham shall become, yea become a nation, great and staunch, and blessed in him are all the nations of the earth?

²⁵ Far be it from You to do according to this word, to put to death the righteous with the wicked, and so come the righteous to be as the wicked. Far be it from You! The Judge of the entire earth, will He not execute judgment?

¹⁸ and blessed, in your seed, shall be all the nations of the earth, inasmuch as you hearken to My voice.

¹⁴ And become shall your seed as the soil of the land. And breach forth will you seaward and eastward and northward and toward the south-rim. And blessed, in you, are all the families of the ground, and in your seed.

¹⁰ Not withdraw shall the sceptre from Judah, nor a statue-maker's staff from between his feet, till it be that ease shall come to him. And to it shall the expectation of the people be.

¹⁴ Then Elohim spoke to Moses: I shall come to be just as I am coming to be. And He said: Thus shall you say to the sons of Israel, I-Shall-Come-to-Be has sent me to you.

¹¹ Yahweh said to him: Who make the mouth for a human or Who is making one mute or deaf or with eye unclosed or blind? Is it not I, Yahweh?

⁸ You are to remember the sabbath day to hallow it. ⁹ Six days shall you serve and do all your work, ¹⁰ yet the seventh day is a sabbath to Yahweh your Elohim. You shall not do any work, you, your son or your daughter, your servant or your maidservant, your bull, your donkey or your beast, or your sojourner who is within your gates. ¹¹ For in six days Yahweh dealt with the heavens and earth, the sea and all that is in them, and He stopped on the seventh day. Therefore, Yahweh blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it.

¹⁹ They said to Moses: Speak you with us that we may hear; yet Elohim must not speak with us lest we die.

¹⁴ Three times shall you celebrate to Me in the year: ¹⁵ you shall observe the celebration of unleavened cakes; seven days shall you eat unleavened cakes, just as I instructed you, at the appointed time in the month Aviv, for in it you went forth from Egypt, and none shall appear before Me empty-handed. ¹⁶ also observe the celebration of the harvest of the firstfruits of your yields from what you are sowing in the field: and observe the celebration of ingathering at the going forth of the year, when you gather your yields from the field. ¹⁷ Three times in the year every male of you shall appear before the Lord Yahweh.

¹² Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying. ¹³ Now you, speak to the sons of Israel saying, Surely, My sabbaths shall you keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations to know that I, Yahweh, am hallowing you. ¹⁴ Hence you will keep the sabbath, for it is holy to you. Profaners of it shall be put to death, yea death, for if anyone is doing work in it, that soul will be cut off from among his people. ¹⁵ Six days shall work be done, and on the seventh day is a sabbath of cessation, holy to Yahweh. Everyone doing work on the sabbath day shall be put to death, yea death. ¹⁶ Hence the sons of Israel will keep the sabbath so as to make the sabbath an eonian covenant throughout their generations. ¹⁷ Between Me and the sons of Israel it shall be a sign for the eon, for in six days Yahweh dealt with the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He ceased and was refreshed.

²³ Three times in the year shall every male of yours appear before the Lord Yahweh, Elohim of Israel.

¹² If he should bring it near for an acclamation then along with the acclamation sacrifice he will bring near unleavened perforated cakes mingled with oil and unleavened wafers anointed with oil and fried perforated cakes of flour mingled with oil.

² Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, The appointed seasons of Yahweh, those which you shall proclaim holy meetings; My appointed seasons, they are these. ³ Six days shall work be done, yet on the seventh day there shall be a sabbath of cessation, a holy meeting. You shall do no work at all. This is a sabbath to Yahweh in all your dwellings. ⁴ These are the appointed seasons of Yahweh, the holy meetings, those which you shall proclaim at their appointed time.

²³ If by these you should not be disciplined for Me and go contrary to Me, ²⁴ then I will, indeed, go contrary to you, and I Myself will even smite you sevenfold for your sins.

²⁷ If by this you should not hearken to Me and go contrary to Me,

⁸ Yahweh said to Moses:Make for yourself a burning serpent and place it on a banner pole; and it will come to be that anyone bitten, when he sees it, will live. ⁹ Moses made a serpent of copper and placed it on the banner pole, and it came to be that if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked to the copper serpent he lived.

¹⁷ I see him yet not now, I regard him yet not near. A star will tread forth from Jacob; a scepter will arise from Israel, and he will transfix both edges of Moab, and the scalp of all the sons of tumult. ¹⁸ Edom will become a tenancy, even Seir will become a tenancy of its enemies; yet Israel will do ably.

¹² and Yahweh spoke to you from the midst of the fire; you were hearing the sound of words, yet you were not seeing a physical representation, nothing except a voice.

⁶ These words which I am instructing you today will come to be in your heart. ⁷ Repeat them to your sons, and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down and when you arise. ⁸ Tie them for a sign on your hand, and they will come to be for the brow bands between your eyes;" ⁹ Write them on the jambs of your house and on your gates.

¹⁸ Hence place these my words in your heart and in your soul, and tie them as a sign on your hand, and let them come to be as brow-bands between your eyes. ¹⁹ Teach them to your sons, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down and when you arise. ²⁰ Write them on the jambs of your house and on your gates,

¹⁶ Three times in the year all your males shall appear before Yahweh your Elohim in the place that He shall choose:at the celebration of unleavened cakes, at the celebration of weeks and at the celebration of booths. And none shall appear before Yahweh empty-handed,

¹⁸ It will come to be when he is seated on the throne of his kingdom, that he will write for himself a duplicate of this law on a scroll from the one before the priests, the Levites. ¹⁹ And it will be with him, and he will read in it all the days of his life that he may learn:to fear Yahweh your Elohim, to observe all the words of this law and these statutes to obey them,

¹⁵ A Prophet from among you, from your brothers, like me, shall Yahweh your Elohim raise up for you. To Him shall you hearke.

¹⁸ A Prophet shall I raise up to them from among their brothers, like you, and I will put My words in His mouth, and He will speak to them all that I shall instruct Him.

³⁹ See now that I, I am He, and there is no other elohim besides Me. I Myself put to death, and I keep alive; I have transfixed, and I Myself shall heal, and there is no one who could reclaim from My hand!"

⁴⁷ For it is not an empty word for you; it means your life, and by this word you may prolong your days on the ground where you are crossing over the Jordan to tenant it.

⁸ the book of this law does not depart out of your mouth, and you have meditated in it by day and by night, so that you do observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then you do cause your way to prosper, and then you do act wisely.

²⁹ And they say one to another, `Who has done this thing?' and they inquire and seek, and they say, `Gideon son of Joash has done this thing..

³⁰ `Therefore--the affirmation of Yahweh, Elohim of Israel--I certainly said, Your house and the house of your father, do walk up and down before Me to the eon; and now--the affirmation of Yahweh--Far be it from Me! for he who is honoring Me, I honor, and those despising Me, are lightly esteemed.

³⁸ And Saul said, `Draw you nigh hither all, the chiefs of the people, and know and see in what this sin has been to-day;"

⁴ And it comes to pass, at the king's hearing the word of the man of Elohim that he calls against the altar in Beth-El, that Jeroboam puts forth his hand from off the altar, saying, `Catch him;' and his hand is dried up that he has put forth against him, and he is not able to bring it back unto him,

²¹ And he stretches himself out on the lad three times, and calls unto Yahweh, and said, `O Yahweh my Elohim, let turn back, I pray You, the soul of this lad into his midst;.

³² And Elisha comes in to the house, and lo, the youth is dead, laid on his bed, ³³ and he goes in and shuts the door upon them both, and prays unto Yahweh. ³⁴ And he goes up, and lies down on the lad, and puts his mouth on his mouth, and his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands, and stretches himself upon him, and the flesh of the lad becomes warm;" ³⁵ and he turns back and walks in the house, once hither and once thither, and goes up and stretches himself upon him, and the youth sneezes till seven times, and the youth opens his eyes.

⁷ And it comes to pass, at the king of Israel's reading the letter, that he rends his garments, and said, `Am I Elohim, to put to death and to keep alive, that this [one] is sending unto me to recover a man from his leprosy? for surely know, I pray you, and see, for he is presenting himself to me..

¹⁰ and Elisha sends unto him a messenger, saying, `Go, and you have washed seven times in Jordan, and your flesh does turn back to you--and be you clean. <sup>11</sup> And Naaman is wroth, and goes on, and said, `Lo, I said, Unto me he does certainly come out, and has stood and called in the name of Yahweh his Elohim, and waved his hand over the place, and recovered the leper. ¹² Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? do I not wash in them and I have been clean?' and he turns and goes on in fury. ¹³ And his servants come nigh, and speak unto him, and say, `My father, a great thing had the prophet spoken unto you--do you not do [it]? and surely, when he has said unto you, Wash, and be clean.. ¹⁴ And he goes down and dips in Jordan seven times, according to the word of the man of Elohim, and his flesh does turn back as the flesh of a little youth, and is clean.

⁸ and Yahweh said unto David my father, Because that it has been with your heart to build a house for My name, you have done well that it has been with your heart,

²² And in the time of his distress--he adds to trespass against Yahweh, (this king Ahaz),

¹³ After all that has come over us because of our evil deeds and our great guilt--though You, O our Elohim, have kept back, punishing us less than our depravity deserves, and You have given us a deliverance, such as this-. ¹⁴ shall we again quash Your instructions by intermarrying with the peoples who commit these abhorrences? Are You not angry with us to the point of entirely destroying us until there is no remnant and deliverance?

¹ And Eliashib the high priest rises, and his brethren the priests, and they build the sheep-gate; they have sanctified it, and set up its doors, even unto the tower of Meah they have sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel;"

³² And between the ascent of the corner and the sheep-gate, have the refiners and the merchants strengthened.

²⁸ `And when they have rest, they turn back to do evil before You, and You do leave them in the hand of their enemies, and they rule over them; and they turn back, and call You, and You from the heavens do hear, and do deliver them, according to Your mercies, many times,

³⁹ and from beyond the gate of Ephraim, and by the old-gate, and by the fish-gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, and unto the sheep-gate--and they have stood at the prison-gate.

¹⁵ In those days I have seen in Judah those treading wine-vats on sabbath, and bringing in the sheaves, and lading on the asses, and also, wine, grapes, and figs, and every burden, yea, they are bringing in to Jerusalem on the sabbath-day, and I testify in the day of their selling provision. ¹⁶ And the Tyrians have dwelt in it, bringing in fish, and every ware, and selling on sabbath to the sons of Judah and in Jerusalem. ¹⁷ And I strive with the freemen of Judah, and say to them, `What [is] this evil thing that you are doing, and polluting the sabbath-day? <sup>18</sup> Thus did not your fathers do? and our Elohim brings in on us all this evil, and on this city, and you are adding fierceness on Israel, to pollute the sabbath.. <sup>19</sup> And it comes to pass, when the gates of Jerusalem have been dark before the sabbath, that I speak, and the doors are shut, and I say, that they do not open them till after the sabbath; and of my servants I have stationed at the gates; there does not come in a burden on the sabbath-day. <sup>20</sup> And they lodge--the merchants and sellers of all ware--at the outside of Jerusalem, once or twice, <sup>21</sup> and I testify against them, and say unto them, `Wherefore are you lodging over-against the wall? if you repeat [it], a hand I put forth upon you;' from that time they have not come in on the sabbath.

²⁵ Yet as for me, I know my Redeemer is living, And after this He shall arise on the soil;" ²⁶ And behind my skin I will stand erect, And from my flesh I shall perceive Eloah,

² But rather his delight is in the law of Yahweh, And he is soliloquizing from His law by day and night.

⁶ I will pour a libation on My King, On Zion, My holy mountain. ⁷ Let me recount the statute of Yahweh:He has said to Me, My Son are You; I, today, have begotten You. ⁸ Ask of Me, And I will give the nations as Your allotment, And as Your holding, the limits of the earth. ⁹ You shall smash them with a club of iron; Like a vessel of a potter, You shall shatter them.

¹² Bear admonition lest He should be angry, And you should perish in the way, For His anger shall consume speedily. Happy are all those taking refuge in Him.

⁷ Yet Yahweh, He shall sit enthroned for the eon; He will establish His throne for judgment, ⁸ And He shall judge the habitance with justice; He shall adjudicate the national groups with equity.

¹³ Be gracious to me, O Yahweh; See my humiliation from those hating me; You are raising me up from the gateways of death,

¹¹ You shall acquaint me with the path of life; Satisfying rejoicings are in Your presence; Pleasantness is at Your right hand. {Permanent{

⁴ He asked life from You; You will give it to him:Length of days for an eon and further.

⁶ Even now my head is being raised high over my enemies round about me, And I will sacrifice in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy. I will sing and make melody to Yahweh."

¹⁴ Be expectant toward Yahweh; Be steadfast, and let your heart be resolute. Yea, be expectant toward Yahweh."

⁹ For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light shall we see light.

⁷ Then I said, Behold, I have come! In the roll of the scroll it is written concerning me;" ⁸ I delight to do what is acceptable to You, my Elohim, And Your law is in the midst of my internal parts."

³ Our Elohim shall come, And He shall certainly not be silent; Fire, it shall devour before Him, And round about Him it is very tempestuous." ⁴ He shall call to the heavens above And to the earth, to adjudicate His people." ⁵ Gather my benign ones to Me, Contractors of a covenant with Me by sacrifice." ⁶ Then the heavens shall tell of His righteousness, For He, Elohim, is the Judge. {Interlude{ "

⁶ Establishing the mountains by His vigor, Being belted with mastery,

¹³ I shall come to Your House with ascent offerings. I shall pay my vows to You, ¹⁴ Concerning which my lips opened wide, And my mouth spoke in my distress." ¹⁵ Ascent offerings of the full-fed shall I bring up to You With the fumes of rams. I shall offer the ox with he-goats. {Interlude{

¹² For He shall rescue the needy one imploring, And the humbled one, when there is no helper for him."

¹¹ Yet My people would not hearken to My voice, And Israel would not comply with Me."

² Ere the mountains were born, And You travailed with the earth and the habitance, From eon unto eon You are El."

¹³ Before Yahweh, for He comes; For He comes to judge the earth; He shall judge the habitance in righteousness, And the peoples in His truth."

⁹ The mountains, let them be jubilant together before Yahweh. For He comes to judge the earth; He shall judge the habitance in righteousness, And the peoples with equity."

²⁰ He sent forth His word and healed them, And He provided escape from their graves." ²¹ Let them acclaim Yahweh for His benignity And His marvelous works to the sons of humanity. ²² And let them sacrifice sacrifices of acclamation And recount His deeds with jubilant song.

¹² What can I restore to Yahweh For all His bountiful dealings toward me? ¹³ I shall take up the cup of salvation And call on the Name of Yahweh. ¹⁴ I shall pay my vows to Yahweh Straight in front of all His people. ¹⁵ Precious in the eyes of Yahweh Is the death of His benign ones. ¹⁶ Oh Yahweh, seeing that I am Your servant, I am Your servant, son of Your maidservant, You have opened up my bonds;" ¹⁷ I shall sacrifice to You a sacrifice of acclamation And call on the Name of Yahweh. ¹⁸ I shall pay my vows to Yahweh Straight in front of all His people, ¹⁹ In the courts of Yahweh's House, In your midst, Jerusalem. Praise Yah."

¹¹ In my heart have I stored up Your promise, That I may not sin against You."

⁶⁰ I hurry and do not dally To keep Your instructions.

⁹⁷ How I love Your law! The entire day it is my meditation. ⁹⁸ Your instruction makes me wiser than my enemies, For it is with me for the eon." ⁹⁹ I have gained insight more than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation."

³ It is like the night mist of Hermon, Which is descending upon the mountain ranges of Zion, For there Yahweh has determined the blessing to be, Life for the eon."

³ In the day I call, then You answer me; You make me dauntless with strength in my soul."

³ When my spirit droops within me, Then it is You Yourself Who knows my tracks; In the path that I am walking, They have buried a snare for me." ⁴ I look to the right, and I see, Yet there is no one recognizing my need; Hope of fleeing has perished from me; There is no one caring for my soul."

³ Do not trust in patrons, In a son of humanity with whom there is no salvation." ⁴ His spirit shall go forth, and he shall return to his ground; In that day his reflections perish." ⁵ Happy is he who has the El of Jacob as his Help; His hopefulness is set on Yahweh his Elohim,

¹ My son, if you take my words And store up my instructions within you, ² Attending with your ear to wisdom, And you stretch out your heart to comprehension,

⁶ For Yahweh Himself gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and comprehension;

⁴ Do not grant sleep to your eyes Or slumber to your eyelids;

²³ For instruction is a lamp, and law is a light, And the reproofs of discipline are the way to life,

¹ My son, keep my sayings, And store up my instructions within you." ² Keep my instructions and live, And guard my law as the pupil of your eyes."

¹⁷ I love those who love me, And those who seek me early find me."

²² Yahweh Himself acquired me as the beginning of His way; Preceeding His deeds of yore. ²³ From the eon was I inaugurated, From the beginning, preceeding the earth;" ²⁴ When there were no abysses I was travailed, When there were no springs teeming with water." ²⁵ Ere the mountains were sunk in place, Before the hills, I was travailed, ²⁶ When He had not yet made the earth and its open places, Or the beginnings of soil for the habitance." ²⁷ When He established the heavens I was there, When He delineated the horizon on the face of the abyss, ²⁸ When He made the sky clouds firm above, When He set the springs of the abyss with strength, ²⁹ When He established for the sea its statutory limit, So that the waters may not pass beyond His bidding, When He delineated the foundations of the earth." ³⁰ Then I was beside Him as His foster child, And I was filled with bliss day by day, Gamboling before Him all the time, ³¹ Gamboling in the habitance of His earth, And my bliss was in the sons of humanity."

³³ Hearken to my admonition, and be wise; Do not renounce it." ³⁴ Happy is the man who hearkens to me, Being alert at my doors day by day, Keeping watch at the jambs of my portals."

²⁰ To the law and to the testimony! If they are not speaking according to this word, there is no bribe for them"

³ And His scent is in the fear of Yahweh. And not by the sight of His eyes will He judge, and not by the hearing of His ears will He correct." ⁴ Yet He will judge with righteousness the poor, and correct with equity for the humble of the land. And He will smite the earth with the club of His mouth, and with the spirit of His lips will He put to death the wicked."

⁹ and the rents of the city of David you will see, for they are multiplied. And you will gather together the water of the nether reservoir into the city."

¹¹ And a confluence will you make for yourselves between the two walls. For the water of the storage reservoir. Yet you do not look to its Maker from the beginning, and its Former from afar you do not see."

²² And saying is Hezekiah, "What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of Yahweh Elohim?

²⁶ Lift your eyes to the height and see; Who created all these? Who is bringing forth their host by number? He is calling to all of them by name, because of vast virility and resolute vigor, and not one of them is deranged."

⁸ I am Yahweh, The Elohim! That is My name, and I will not give My glory to another, nor My praises to carvings."

¹⁰ You are My witnesses,averring is Yahweh Elohim, "And My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and will believe Me, and understand that I am He:Before Me was formed no El. And after Me none shall come." ¹¹ I, I, Yahweh am El! And there is no Saviour apart from Me."

⁶ Thus says Yahweh, King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Yahweh of hosts is His name. "I am the First and I am the Last, and apart from Me there is no Elohim."

²⁴ Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, and your Former from the belly:"I, Yahweh, am Maker of all, Who stretched out the heavens alone. When stamping out the earth, who was with Me?

¹⁵ Surely, You, El, are concealing Yourself, the Elohim of Israel, a Saviour."

²¹ Tell, and bring them close. Indeed, they shall consult together. Who announced this from aforetime? Hitherto, Who told it? Not I, Yahweh? And no one else is Elohim, apart from Me. An El, just, and a Saviour. And none is there, except Me."

²⁴ Yea, in Yahweh,He says to me, "is righteousness and strength. Unto Him shall come all ashamed, who are hot against Him."

⁷ Thus says my Lord Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Elohim of Israel, his Holy One, to the despised of His soul, to the abhorred of the nation, to the servant of rulers, "Kings shall see him, and they rise, and chiefs shall also worship him, on account of Yahweh, Who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, and He shall choose you."

² For what reason, when I came, was there no man? I called, and there was no answer? Is My hand too short to ransom? Or should no vigor be in Me to rescue? Behold! By My rebuke will I drain the sea; I will convert streams into a wilderness. Their fish will dry up, because there is no water, and they will die from thirst."

¹ Who believes our report? And the arm of Yahweh--to whom is it revealed? ² And He is coming up as a layer-plant before Him, and as a root sprout from earth that is arid. No shape has He nor honor when we shall see Him, and no appearance nor loveliness that we will covet Him." ³ Despised is He, and shunned by men, a man of pains and knowing illness. And, as One concealing His face from us, despised is He, and we judge Him of no account."

¹³ If you are turning back your foot, because of the sabbath, from doing your own desire on My holy day, and call the sabbath a delicacy, and the holy day of Yahweh, glorious, and glorify it rather than doing your own ways, than finding your own desire or to speak your own word,

¹ I am inquired of by those who had not asked for Me. I am found by those who did not seek Me. I say, `Behold Me!' to a nation not calling My name."

⁹ Ashamed have been the wise, They have been affrighted, and are captured, Lo, against a word of Yahweh they kicked, And the wisdom of what--have they?

²³ Does a Cushite change his skin? and a leopard his spots? You also are able to do good, who are accustomed to do evil."

²⁷ Your adulteries, and your neighings, The wickedness of your whoredom, on heights in a field, I have seen your abominations. Woe to you, O Jerusalem, You are not cleansed, after when [is it] again?

⁵ Thus said Yahweh:Cursed [is] the man who does trust in man, And has made flesh his arm, And from Yahweh whose heart turns." ⁶ And he has been as a naked thing in a desert, And does not see when good comes, And has inhabited parched places in a wilderness, A salt land, and not inhabited." ⁷ Blessed [is] the man who trusts in Yahweh, And whose confidence has been Yahweh."

¹⁰ I Yahweh do search the heart, try the reins, Even to give to each according to his way, According to the fruit of his doings."

²¹ Thus said Yahweh, Take you heed to yourselves, And you bear not a burden on the day of rest, Nor have you brought [it] in by the gates of Jerusalem."

²⁷ And if you do not hearken unto me to sanctify the day of rest, And so as not to bear a burden, And to come in at the gates of Jerusalem on the day of rest, Then I have kindled a fire in its gates, And it has consumed the high places of Jerusalem, And it is not quenched!'"

²⁶ It is good that one should wait in stillness for the salvation of Yahweh;

²¹ You look after the wickedness of your youth, In dealing out of Egypt your loves, For the sake of the breasts of your youth."

³¹ And they come in unto you as the coming in of a people, And they sit before you--My people, And have heard your words, and they do them not, For doting loves with their mouth they are making, After their dishonest gain their heart is going."

¹ There has been upon me a hand of Yahweh, and He takes me forth in the Spirit of Yahweh, and does place me in the midst of the valley, and it is full of bones, ² and He causes me to pass over by them, all round about, and lo, very many [are] on the face of the valley, and lo, very dry." ³ And He said unto me, `Son of man, do these bones live?' And I say, `O Lord Yahweh, You--You have known.'" ⁴ And He said unto me, `Prophesy concerning these bones, and you have said unto them:O dry bones, hear a word of Yahweh:" <sup>5</sup> Thus said the Lord Yahweh to these bones:Lo, I am bringing into you a spirit, and you have lived, <sup>6</sup> and I have given on you sinews, and cause flesh to come up upon you, and covered you over with skin, and given in you a spirit, and you have lived, and you have known that I [am] Yahweh.'" <sup>7</sup> And I have prophesied as I have been commanded, and there is a noise, as I am prophesying, and lo, a rushing, and draw near do the bones, bone unto its bone." <sup>8</sup> And I beheld, and lo, on them [are] sinews, and flesh has come up, and cover them does skin over above--and spirit there is none in them." <sup>9</sup> And He said unto me:`Prophesy unto the Spirit, prophesy, son of man, and you have said unto the Spirit:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:From the four winds come in, O Spirit, and breathe on these slain, and they do live.'" ¹⁰ And I have prophesied as He commanded me, and the Spirit comes into them, and they live, and stand on their feet--a very very great force."

⁸ And he said unto me, `These waters are going forth unto the east circuit, and have gone down unto the desert, and have entered the sea; unto the sea they are brought forth, and the waters have been healed."

¹³ Perceiving am I in the visions of the night, and behold, on the clouds of the heavens, One as a son of a mortal is arriving:Unto the Transferrer of Days He reaches, and they bring Him near before Him;" ¹⁴ to Him is granted jurisdiction and esteem and a kingdom, and all the peoples and leagues and language-groups shall serve Him; His jurisdiction, as an eonian jurisdiction, will not pass away, and His kingdom shall not be confined."

⁷ Samaria is stilled; its king is as froth on the surface of water. ⁸ The fane heights of Aven shall be exterminated, the sin of Israel. The thorn and the weed shall come up on their altars. And they shall say to the mountains, Cover us! And to the hills, Fall on us!" ⁹ More than in the days of Gibeah do you sin, Israel; there they stood! In Gibeah the battle against the sons of iniquity is not overtaking them." ¹⁰ When I come, then I will discipline them, and peoples shall be gathered against them, when they are disciplined for their two depravities."

¹³ the cramps of a bearing woman shall come to him. He is an unwise son, for in season he will not stand at the breaking forth of sons." ¹⁴ From the hand of the unseen will I ransom them; from death will I redeem them. Where is your plague, O Death? Where is your sting, O Unseen? Regret shall be concealed from My eyes."

⁹ Exult exceedingly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold! your King shall come to you! Righteous and endowed with salvation is He. Humble and riding on an ass, and on a colt, the foal of a she-ass."

¹⁷ Woe! forbidden idol's shepherd! forsaker of the flock! A sword is on his arm and on his right eye! His arm shall be dried dry, and his right eye shall be dimmed dim."

¹ In that day there shall come to be a fountain opened for the house of David, and for the dwellers of Jerusalem, for sin and for isolation."

⁷ O sword! rouse against My Shepherd, and against the Master, My Companion, (averring is Yahweh of hosts). Smite the Shepherd, and the flock is scattering. And I restore My hand on the inferior shepherds."

⁸ And it comes to be in that day, that living waters shall fare forth from Jerusalem, half of them to the eastern sea, and half of them to the latter sea. In summer and in winter shall it be thus."

⁵ Then went out to him Jerusalem and entire Judea, and the entire country about the Jordan, ⁶ and they were baptized in the Jordan river by him, confessing their sins. ⁷ Now, perceiving many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, "Progeny of vipers! Who intimates to you to be fleeing from the impending indignation?

¹⁵ Yet, answering, Jesus said to him, "by your leave, at present, for thus it is becoming for us to fulfill all righteousness.Then he is giving Him leave.

¹⁷ And lo! a voice out of the heavens, saying, "This is My Son, the Beloved, in Whom I delight."

³³ Yet seek first the kingdom and its righteousness, and these all shall be added to you."

⁶ Now, that you may be perceiving that the Son of Mankind has authority on earth to pardon sins"-then He is saying to the paralytic, "Being roused, pick up your couch and go into your house."

²⁹ Are not two sparrows selling for a penny? And not one of them will be falling on the earth without your Father.

³⁷ He who is fond of father or mother above Me is not worthy of Me. And he who is fond of son or daughter above Me is not worthy of Me."

⁴ And answering, Jesus said to them, "Go, report to John what you are hearing and observing:"

⁷ Now, at their going, Jesus begins to be saying to the throngs concerning John, "What do you come out into the wilderness to gaze at? A reed being shaken by the wind? ⁸ But what do you come out to perceive? A man garbed in soft garment? Lo! those wearing soft garments are in the houses of kings. ⁹ But for what do you come out? A prophet to perceive? Yes, I am saying to you, and exceedingly more than a prophet."

¹¹ Verily, I am saying to you, Not among those born of women has there been roused a greater than John the baptist. Yet he who is smaller, in the kingdom of the heavens is greater than he." ¹² Now, from the days of John the baptist hitherto, the kingdom of the heavens is being violently forced and the violent are snatching it."

²⁷ All was given up to Me by My Father. And no one is recognizing the Son except the Father; neither is anyone recognizing the Father except the Son and he to whom the Son should be intending to unveil Him."

² Now the Pharisees, perceiving it, say to Him, "Lo! your disciples are doing what is not allowed to be done on a sabbath." ³ Yet He said to them, "Did you not read what David does when he hungers, and those with him:" ⁴ how he entered into the house of God and they ate the show bread, which he was not allowed to eat, neither those with him, except the priests only? ⁵ Or did you not read in the law that on the sabbaths the priests in the sanctuary are profaning the sabbath and are faultless?

And they inquire of Him, saying, "Is it allowed on the sabbaths to cure?that they should be accusing Him." ¹¹ Now He said to them, "What man of you will there be, who will have one sheep, and if ever this should be falling into a pit on the sabbaths, will not take hold of it and raise it? ¹² Of how much more consequence, then, is a man than a sheep! So that it is allowed to be doing ideally on the sabbaths." ¹³ Then He is saying to the man, "Stretch out your hand.And he stretches it out and it was restored, sound as the other."

²⁰ Yet he who is being sown on the rocky places, this is he who is hearing the word and straightway with joy is getting it, ²¹ yet has no root in himself, but is temporary. Now at the coming of affliction or persecution because of the word, straightway he is snared."

³⁰ And there came to Him vast throngs, having with them the lame, the blind, the mute, the maimed, and many others. And they toss them at His feet, and he cures them,

²⁷ Verily I am saying to you that there are some of those standing here who under no circumstances should be tasting death till they should be perceiving the Son of Mankind coming in His kingdom."

⁵ While he is still speaking, lo! a luminous cloud overshadows them, and lo! a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is My Son, the Beloved, in Whom I delight. Hear Him!"

⁷ They are saying to Him, "Why, then, does Moses direct to give a scroll of divorce and to dismiss her? ⁸ Jesus is saying to them, that "Moses, in view of your hardheartedness, permits you to dismiss your wives. Yet from the beginning it has not come to be thus."

¹⁶ And lo! one coming to Him said, "Teacher, what good shall I be doing that I should be having life eonian? ¹⁷ Yet He said to him, "Why are you asking Me concerning good? One is good. Yet if you are wanting to be entering into life, keep the precepts." ¹⁸ He is saying to Him, "Which?Now Jesus said, "These: 'You shall not be murdering.' 'You shall not be committing adultery.' 'You shall not be stealing.' 'You shall not be testifying falsely.'" ¹⁹ Be honoring father and mother,' and 'You shall be loving your associate as yourself.'" ²⁰ The youth is saying to Him, "These all I maintain. In what am I still deficient?

²³ And at His coming into the sanctuary, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him while He was teaching, saying, "By what authority are you doing these things, and who gives you this authority?

²⁶ Yet if we should be saying, 'Of men,' we are fearing the throng, for all are having John as a prophet."

³ And he dispatches his slaves to call those invited to the wedding festivities, and they would not come."

²⁹ Now, answering, Jesus said to them, "You are deceived, not being acquainted with the scriptures, nor yet with the power of God."

³⁷ Now He averred to him, "You shall be loving the Lord your God with your whole heart, and with your whole soul, and with you whole comprehension." ³⁸ This is the great and foremost precept.

⁵ Now all their works are they doing to be gazed at by men, for they are broadening their amulets and magnifying the tassels."

³⁷ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! who art killing the prophets and pelting with stones those who have been dispatched to her! How many times do I want to assemble your children in the manner a hen is assembling her brood under her wings-and you will not!"

⁵ For many shall be coming in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ!' and shall be deceiving many."

²⁴ For roused shall be false christs and false prophets, and they shall be giving great signs and miracles, so as to deceive, if possible, even the chosen."

²¹ Now his lord averred to him, 'Well done! good and faithful slave. Over a few were you faithful; over many will I place you. Enter into the joy of your lord!'" ²² Now, approaching, the one also getting the two talents said, 'Lord, two talents you give over to me, Lo! another two talents I gain with them.'" ²³ His lord averred to him, 'Well done! good and faithful slave. ³¹ Now, whenever the Son of Mankind may be coming in His glory, and all the holy messengers with Him, then shall He be seated on the throne of His glory, ³² and in front of Him shall be gathered all the nations. And He shall be severing them from one another even as a shepherd is severing the sheep from the kids. ³³ And He shall be standing the sheep, indeed, at His right, yet the kids at the left." ³⁴ Then shall the King be declaring to those at His right, 'Hither, blessed of My Father! Enjoy the allotment of the kingdom made ready for you from the disruption of the world." ³⁵ For I hunger and you give Me to eat' I thirst and you give Me drink; a stranger was I and you took Me in; ³⁶ naked and you clothed Me; infirm am I and you visit Me; in jail was I and you come to Me.' ³⁷ Then the just will be answering Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we perceive Thee hungering and nourish Thee, or thirsting and we give Thee drink? ³⁸ Now when did we perceive Thee a stranger and took Thee in, or naked and we clothed Thee? ³⁹ Now when did we perceive Thee infirm, or in jail, and we came to Thee?'" ⁴⁰ And, answering, the King shall be declaring to them, 'Verily, I am saying to you, In as much as you do it to one of these, the least of My brethren, you do it to Me.'" ⁴¹ Then shall He be declaring to those also at His left, 'Go from Me, you cursed, into the fire eonian, made ready for the Adversary and his messengers." ⁴² For I hunger and you do not give Me to eat; I thirst and you do not give Me drink; ⁴³ a stranger was I and you did not take Me in; naked and you did not clothe Me; infirm and in jail and you did not visit Me.' ⁴⁴ Then shall they also be answering, saying, 'Lord, when did we perceive you hungering or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or infirm, or in jail, and we did not serve you?'" ⁴⁵ Then shall He be answering them, saying, 'Verily, I am saying to you, In as much as you do it not to one of these, the least, neither do you it to Me.'" ⁴⁶ And these shall be coming away into chastening eonian, yet the just into life eonian."

³⁹ And coming forward a little, He falls on His face, praying and saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass by from Me. However, not as I will, but as Thou!"

¹⁸ And, approaching, Jesus speaks to them saying, "Given to Me was all authority in heaven and on the earth." ¹⁹ Going, then, disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit,

³¹ And approaching, He rouses her, holding her hand. And the fever leaves her immediately, and she waited on them."

⁴² And at His saying this, straightway the leprosy came from him, and he is cleansed."

⁴⁵ Now he, coming out, begins heralding it much, and to blaze abroad the word, so that, by no means can He longer be manifestly entering into a city, but was outside in desolate places. And they came to him from everywhere."

⁵ And Jesus, perceiving their faith, is saying to the paralytic, "Child, pardoned you are your sins."

⁹ What is easier, to be saying to the paralytic, 'Pardoned are your sins,' or to be saying, 'Rouse and pick up your pallet and walk'? ¹⁰ Now, that you may be perceiving that the Son of Mankind has authority on earth to pardon sins(He is saying to the paralytic), ¹¹ To you am I saying, Rouse, and pick up your pallet and go into your house."

And a man was there, having a withered hand." ² And they scrutinized Him to see if on the sabbaths He will be curing him, that they should be accusing Him." ³ And He is saying to the man having the withered hand, "Rise in the midst." ⁴ And He is saying to them, "Is it allowed on the sabbaths to do good or to do evil, a soul to save or to kill?Yet they were silent."

⁶ And, coming out, the Pharisees straightway held a consultation with the Herodians against Him, so that they should be destroying Him."

⁴¹ And, holding the hand of the little girl, He is saying to her, "Talitha, coumi!(which is, being construed, "Maiden, I am saying to you, rouse!")." ⁴² And straightway the maiden rose and walked about, for she was about twelve years old. And they were beside themselves, straightway, with great amazement."

²⁰ for Herod feared John, being aware that he is a just and holy man, and he preserved him. And hearing him, he was much perplexed, and heard him with relish."

²¹ And He inquires of his father, "How much time is it since this has come to him?Now he said, "From a little boy."

⁵² Go. Your faith has saved you.And straightway he receives sight and followed Him on the road."

¹⁰ Did you not yet read this scripture? - 'The stone which is rejected by the builders, This came to be for the head of the corner."

¹⁶ He who believes and is baptized shall be saved, yet he who disbelieves shall be condemned."

¹⁵ for he shall be great in the sight of the Lord. And wine and intoxicant may he under no circumstances be drinking, and with holy spirit shall he be filled while still of his mother's womb." ¹⁶ And many of the sons of Israel shall he be turning back to the Lord their God. ¹⁷ And he shall be coming before in His sight in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn back the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the stubborn to the prudence of the just, to make ready a people formed for the Lord."

⁷⁶ Now you, also, little boy, a prophet of the Most High shall be called, For you shall be going before in the sight of the Lord To make ready His roads, ⁷⁷ To give the knowledge of salvation to His people In the pardon of their sins,

²² and the holy spirit descends on Him, to bodily perception as if a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, saying, "Thou art My Son, the Beloved; in Thee I delight."

³⁰ Yet He, passing through their midst, went."

²⁴ Now, that you may be perceiving that the Son of Mankind has authority on earth to pardon sins (He said to the paralyzed), to you am I saying, Rouse and pick up your cot and go into your house."

¹⁴ And approaching, He touches the bier. Now those bearing it stand. And he said, "Youth, to you am I saying, Be roused!" ¹⁵ And the dead youth sits up and begins to be speaking. And He gives him back to his mother.

²² And answering, Jesus said to them, "Go, report to John what you perceived and hear: that the blind are receiving sight, the lame are walking, lepers are being cleansed, and the deaf are hearing, the dead are being roused, and to the poor the evangel is being brought."

²⁸ For verily I am saying to you, A greater prophet, among those born of women, than John the baptist, there is not one. Yet the smaller, in the kingdom of God is greater than he."

¹² Now if Christ is being heralded that He has been roused from among the dead, how are some among you saying that there is no resurrection of the dead?

²² For even as, in Adam, all are dying, thus also, in Christ, shall all be vivified."

Burst forth and implore, thou who art not travailing! For many are the children of the desolate, Rather than of her who has the husband." ²⁸ Now you, brethren, as Isaac, are children of promise." ²⁹ But even as then, the one generated according to flesh persecuted the one according to spirit, thus also it is now." ³⁰ But what is the scripture saying? Cast out this maid and her son, for by no means shall the son of the maid be enjoying the allotment with the son of the free woman." ³¹ Wherefore, brethren, we are not children of the maid, but of the free woman."

¹⁹ Now apparent are the works of the flesh, which are adultery, prostitution, uncleanness, wantonness, ²⁰ idolatry, enchantment, enmities, strife, jealousies, furies, factions, dissensions, sects, ²¹ envies, murders, drunkennesses, revelries, and the like of these, which, I am predicting to you, according as I predicted also, that those committing such things shall not be enjoying the allotment of the kingdom of God."

⁸ for he who is sowing for his own flesh, from the flesh shall be reaping corruption, yet he who is sowing for the spirit, from the spirit shall be reaping life eonian." ⁹ Now we may not be despondent in ideal doing, for in due season we shall be reaping, if we do not faint." ¹⁰ Consequently, then, as we have occasion, we are working for the good of all, yet specially for the family of faith."

¹⁸ the eyes of your heart having been enlightened, for you to perceive what is the expectation of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of the enjoyment of His allotment among the saints, ¹⁹ and what the transcendent greatness of His power for us who are believing, in accord with the operation of the might of His strength, ²⁰ which is operative in the Christ, rousing Him from among the dead and seating Him at His right hand among the celestials, ²¹ up over every sovereignty and authority and power and lordship, and every name that is named, not only in this eon, but also in that which is impending:" ²² and subjects all under His feet, and gives Him, as Head over all, to the ecclesia" ²³ which is His body, the complement of the One completing the all in all."

⁷ and to you who are being afflicted, ease, with us, at the unveiling of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His powerful messengers, ⁸ in flaming fire, dealing out vengeance to those who are not acquainted with God and those who are not obeying the evangel of our Lord Jesus Christ" ⁹ who shall incur the justice of eonian extermination from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of His strength" ¹⁰ whenever He may be coming to be glorified in His saints and to be marveled at in all who believe (seeing that our testimony to you was believed) in that day.

¹³ Now we ought to be thanking God always concerning you, brethren, beloved by the Lord, seeing that God prefers you from the beginning for salvation, in holiness of the spirit and faith in the truth, ¹⁴ into which He also calls us through our evangel, for the procuring of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ."

¹⁶ Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, our Father, Who loves us, and is giving us an eonian consolation and a good expectation in grace, ¹⁷ be consoling your hearts and establish you in every good work and word.

¹⁷ Now to the King of the eons, the incorruptible, invisible, only, and wise God, be honor and glory for the eons of the eons! Amen!"

³ for this is ideal and welcome in the sight of our Saviour, God, ⁴ Who wills that all mankind be saved and come into a realization of the truth.
