¹¹ Lo! we are counting those happy who endure. You hear of the endurance of Job, and you perceived the consummation of the Lord, for very compassionate and pitiful is the Lord."

⁶ Now Yahweh passed by before his face and called: Yahweh, Yahweh El, Who is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and with much kindness and truth,

¹⁸ Yahweh, slow to anger and with much kindness and truth, bearing with depravity and transgression and sin, yet He is not immediately making innocent in order to make innocent, but is visiting the depravity of the fathers on the sons, on the third and on the fourth generation.

¹³ And David said unto Gad, `I am greatly distressed, let me fall, I pray you, into the hand of Yahweh, for very many [are] His mercies, and into the hand of man let me not fall..

⁹ for in your turning back unto Yahweh, your brethren and your sons have mercies before their captors, even to return to this land, for gracious and merciful [is] Yahweh your Elohim, and He does not turn aside the face from you, if you turn back unto Him..

¹⁷ yea, they refuse to hearken, and have not remembered Your wonders that You have done with them, and harden their neck and appoint a head, to turn back to their service, in their rebellion; and You [are] a Eloah of pardons, gracious, and merciful, long-suffering, and abundant in kindness, and have not forsaken them.

³¹ and in Your abundant mercies You have not made them a consumption, nor have forsaken them; for a El, gracious and merciful, [are] You.

² Seven sons and three daughters were born to him,

²¹ And he said, Naked I came forth from the belly of my mother, and naked I shall return there. Yahweh, He gives, and Yahweh, He takes away. Blessed be the name of Yahweh. ²² In all this, Job neither sinned nor ascribed anything improper to Elohim.

¹⁰ Yet he said to her, Like the speech of some decadent woman are you speaking. Indeed should we receive good from the One, Elohim, and should we not receive evil? In all this, Job did not sin with his lips.

¹⁵ Behold, He may despatch me, yet I shall wait for Him; Yea, I shall plead my ways before His face. ¹⁶ Moreover, this will be salvation for me, For a polluted man would not come before Him.

¹⁰ But He knows the way with me; He tests me, and I shall go forth like gold.

¹⁰ Then Yahweh Himself turned back the captivity of Job when he prayed on behalf of his associates. And Yahweh added to all that Job had by a double portion. ¹¹ All his brothers and all his sisters came to him and all his acquaintances from before, and they ate bread with him in his house. Then they condoled with him and comforted him over all the evil that Yahweh had brought upon him. Each of them gave to him one kesitah, and each, one pendant of gold. ¹² Thus Yahweh Himself blessed the latter years of Job more than his beginning. He came to have a flock of fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand pair of oxen and a thousand jennies. ¹³ Also he came to have seven sons and three daughters. ¹⁴ He called the name of the first Jemimah, the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-happuch. ¹⁵ Women so lovely as the daughters of Job were not found in the whole country. Their father gave them an allotment in the midst of their brothers. ¹⁶ Job lived after this a hundred and forty years. And he saw his sons and his sons sons to four generations. ¹⁷ Then Job died, old and satisfied with days.

⁶ Remember Your compassions, O Yahweh, And Your benignities, For they are from the eon." ⁷ Do not remember the sins of my youth and my transgressions; According to Your benignity, remember me, I pray You, On account of Your goodness, O Yahweh."

³⁷ Observe the flawless, and see the upright, That there is a hereafter for the man of peace."

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ {When Nathan the prophet came to him after he had come to Bath-sheba.{ Be gracious to me, O Elohim, according to Your benignity; According to Your many compassions wipe out my transgressions."

³⁸ Yet He was compassionate; He made a propitiatory shelter for depravity, And He did not bring ruin; He acted many times to reverse His anger, And He would not rouse all His fury."

⁵ For You, O Yahweh, are good and pardoning, And with much benignity to all calling on You."

¹⁵ Yet You, O Yahweh, are an El compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and with much benignity and faithfulness."

¹² Happy is the master whom You are disciplining, O Yah; From Your law are You teaching him,

⁸ Compassionate and gracious is Yahweh, Slow to anger and with much benignity."

¹³ As a father shows compassion over his sons, So Yahweh shows compassion over those fearing Him."

⁵ Gracious is Yahweh and righteous, And our Elohim is compassionate;"

¹³² Turn toward me and be gracious to me According to the custom for those loving Your Name.

¹ Give acclamation to Yahweh, for He is good, For His benignity is eonian;" ² Give acclamation to the Elohim of elohim, For His benignity is eonian;" ³ Give acclamation to the Lord of lords, For His benignity is eonian;" ⁴ To the One alone working great marvels, For His benignity is eonian;" ⁵ To the One making the heavens with understanding, For His benignity is eonian;" ⁶ To the One situating the earth above the waters, For His benignity is eonian;" ⁷ To the One making the great lights, For His benignity is eonian;" ⁸ The sun for ruling over the day, For His benignity is eonian;" ⁹ The moon and stars for ruling over the night, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁰ To the One smiting Egypt in their firstborn, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹¹ And Who brought forth Israel from their midst, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹² By a steadfast hand and by an outstretched arm, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹³ To the One severing the Sea of Weeds into severed parts, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁴ And Who caused Israel to pass through its midst, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁵ And Who shook off Pharaoh and his army into the Sea of Weeds, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁶ To the One conducting His people through the wilderness, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁷ To the One smiting great kings, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁸ And Who killed prestigious kings, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁹ Sihon king of the Amorite, For His benignity is eonian;" ²⁰ And Og king of Bashan, For His benignity is eonian;" ²¹ He gave their country as an allotment, For His benignity is eonian;" ²² An allotment to Israel, His servant, For His benignity is eonian;" ²³ Who in our lowliness remembered us, For His benignity is eonian;" ²⁴ And Who tore us off from our foes, For His benignity is eonian;" ²⁵ Who is giving nourishment to all flesh, For His benignity is eonian;" ²⁶ Give acclamation to the El of the heavens, For His benignity is eonian."

⁸ Gracious and compassionate is Yahweh, Slow to anger and with great benignity."

⁸ The end of a matter is better than its beginning; A long-suffering spirit is better than a haughty spirit.

⁶ Inquire for Yahweh while He is to be found; call Him while He comes to be near. ⁷ Forsake shall the wicked one his way, and the lawless man his devices, and he shall return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him, and to our Elohim, for he will increasingly pardon your sins."

⁷ The kindnesses of Yahweh will I mention, the praises of Yahweh, according to all which Yahweh requites us, and the vast good to the house of Israel which He requites them, according to His compassions, and according to His many kindnesses."

⁹ in all their distress He is not a foe, not an agent or a messenger, but His presence saved them. In His love, and by His sparing, He, He redeems them, and He will transport and assist them all the days of the eon."

²² It is by Yahweh's benignities that we have not come to end, that His compassions are not finished;"

⁹ Of Yahweh our Elohim are compassions and pardons; for we revolt against Him."

¹⁸ Stretch out, my Elohim, Thine ear and hear me; unclose Thine eyes and see our desolation and the city over which Thy name is called; for not on account of our righteousness are we casting our supplications before Thee, but on account of the multitude of Thy compassions." ¹⁹ My Lord, hear! My Lord, pardon! My Lord, attend and do! Thou must not be delaying on Thine own account, my Elohim, for Thy name is called over Thy city and over Thy people, Israel."

¹³ and tear your heart and not your garments, and return to Yahweh, your Elohim. For gracious and compassionate is He, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and He regrets over the evil."

² And he is praying to Yahweh and saying, Oh Yahweh! Was not this my word while still I came to be on my own ground? Therefore I forestalled by running away to Tharshish, for I know that You are a gracious El, and compassionate, slow to anger and of much kindness, and regretting concerning the evil."

¹⁸ Who is an El as You are, bearing with depravity, and passing over transgression, for the remnant of His allotment? He does not hold fast His anger for the future. For He delights in kindness."

¹⁰ "Happy are those persecuted on account of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens. ¹¹ "Happy are you whenever they should be reproaching and persecuting you and, falsifying, saying every wicked thing against you, on my account.

²² And you shall be hated by all because of My name. Yet he who endures to the consummation, he shall be saved."

⁵⁰ And His mercy is for generations and generations To those fearing Him.

³⁶ Become, then, pitiful, according as your Father also is pitiful."

⁴ Or are you despising the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, being ignorant that the kindness of God is leading you to repentance?

⁶ for the laud of the glory of His grace, which graces us in the Beloved:"

⁴ yet God, being rich in mercy, because of His vast love with which He loves us"

⁶ Yet Christ, as a Son over His house-Whose house we are, that is, if we should be retaining the boldness and the glorying of the expectation confirmed unto the consummation."

¹⁴ For we have become partners of Christ, that is, if we should be retaining the beginning of the assumption confirmed unto the consummation,

³⁹ Yet we are not of those shrinking back to destruction, but of faith for the procuring of the soul."

¹² Happy is the man who is enduring trial, for, becoming qualified, he will be obtaining the wreath of life, which He promises to those loving Him."

⁶ in which you are exulting; briefly at present, if it must be, being sorrowed by various trials, ⁷ that the testing of your faith, much more precious than gold which is perishing, yet, being tested by fire, may be found for applause and glory and honor at the unveiling of Jesus Christ,

¹³ Wherefore, girding up the loins of your comprehension, being sober, expect perfectly the grace which is being brought to you at the unveiling of Jesus Christ."

⁹ the Lord is acquainted with the rescue of the devout out of trial, yet is keeping the unjust for chastening in the day of judging,
