⁷ Forsake shall the wicked one his way, and the lawless man his devices, and he shall return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him, and to our Elohim, for he will increasingly pardon your sins."

If they are reddened as crimson, as wool shall they become."

⁷ And the miser's instruments are evil, and he plans counsels to harm the humble with false sayings, and frustrate the words of the needy, in judgment."

² Speak you to the heart of Jerusalem, and call to her, for fulfilled is her enlistment, for run out is her depravity, for she takes from the hand of Yahweh a shelter from all her sins."

²⁵ I, I am He Who wipes out your transgressions on My own account, and your sins I will not remember further."

²² For behold! I wipe out as a dense haze, your transgressions, and as a cloud, your sins. Return to Me, for I redeemed you."

¹⁰ For the mountains shall remove, and the hills shall slip, yet My kindness from you shall not remove, and the covenant of My welfare shall not slip, says your Compassionate One, Yahweh."

⁷ Their feet are running to evil, and they are hastening to shed innocent blood. Their devices are devices of lawlessness. Devastation and breaking and violence are in their highways."

³ And withheld are showers, and gathered rain has not been. The forehead of a whorish woman you have, You have refused to be ashamed."

¹² Go, and you have proclaimed these words toward the north, and have said, Turn back, O backsliding Israel, An affirmation of Yahweh! I cause not Mine anger to fall upon you, For I [am] kind, an affirmation of Yahweh, I watch not to the eon." ¹³ Only, know your iniquity, For against Yahweh your Elohim you have transgressed, And you do scatter your ways to strangers, Under every green tree, And to My voice you have not hearkened, An affirmation of Yahweh."

¹⁴ Wash from evil your heart, O Jerusalem, That you may be saved, Till when do you lodge in your heart Thoughts of your strength?

⁴ And you have said unto them:Thus said Yahweh, Do they fall, and not rise? Does he turn back, and not return? ⁵ Wherefore has this people of Jerusalem Turned back--a perpetual backsliding? They have kept hold on deceit, They have refused to turn back." ⁶ I have given attention, yea, I hearken, They do not speak right, No man has repented of his wickedness, Saying, What have I done? Every one has turned to his courses, As a horse is rushing into battle."

¹⁸ In My saying to the wicked:You do surely die; and you have not warned him, nor have spoken to warn the wicked from his wicked way, so that he does live; he--the wicked--in his iniquity dies, and his blood from your hand I require." ¹⁹ And you, because you have warned the wicked, and he has not turned back from his wickedness, and from his wicked way, he in his iniquity dies, and you your soul have delivered."

²¹ And the wicked--when he turns back From all his sins that he has done, And he has kept all My statutes, And has done judgment and righteousness, He does surely live, he does not die." ²² All his transgressions that he has done Are not remembered to him, In his righteousness that he has done he lives." ²³ Do I at all desire the death of the wicked? An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, Is it not in his turning back from his way--And he has lived?

²⁷ And in the turning back of the wicked From his wickedness that he has done, And he does judgment and righteousness, He his soul does keep alive." ²⁸ And he sees and turns back, From all his transgressions that he has done, He does surely live, he does not die, ²⁹ And the house of Israel have said, Not pondered is the way of the Lord, My ways--are they not pondered? O house of Israel--are not your ways unpondered? ³⁰ Therefore, each according to his ways I judge you, O house of Israel? An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, Turn you back, yea, turn yourselves back, From all your transgressions, And iniquity is not to you for a stumbling-block, ³¹ Cast from off you all your transgressions, By which you have transgressed, And make to you a new heart, and a new spirit, And why do you die, O house of Israel? ³² For I have no pleasure in the death of the dying, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, And turn you back and live!"

¹¹ Say unto them, I live--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, I delight not in the death of the wicked, But--in the turning of the wicked from his way, And he has lived, Turn back, turn back, from your evil ways, Yea, why do you die, O house of Israel?

¹⁴ And in My saying to the wicked:You surely die, And--he has turned back from his sin, And has done judgment and righteousness, ¹⁵ (The pledge the wicked restores, plunder he repays,) In the statutes of life he has walked, So as not to do perversity, He surely lives--he does not die." ¹⁶ None of his sin that he has sinned is remembered to him, Judgment and righteousness he has done, He does surely live."

¹ Return, O Israel, unto Yahweh, your Elohim, for you stumble in your depravity." ² Take words with you and return to Yahweh, your Elohim; say to Him:Wilt You bear away all the depravity? Take the good, and we will repay with the fruit of our lips."

¹⁰ And the Elohim is seeing their doings, that they turn back from their evil way. And the Elohim is regretting over the evil which He spoke to do to them, and He does it not."

¹⁷ and each man evil to his associate you must not devise in your heart, and a false oath you must not love; for all these I hate, (averring is Yahweh of hosts)."

¹³ Now go, learn what this is: Mercy am I wanting, and not sacrifice. For I did not come to call the just but sinners."

¹⁸ Now those things going out of the mouth, out of the heart are coming, and those things are contaminating a man." ¹⁹ For out of the heart are coming wicked reasonings, murders, adulteries, prostitutions, thefts, false testimonies, calumnies."

²⁵ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are cleansing the outside of the cup and the plate, yet inside they are brimming with rapacity and incontinence." ²⁶ Blind Pharisee! Cleanse first the inside of the cup and the plate, that their outside also may be becoming clean!"

²¹ For from inside, out of the heart of men, are going out evil reasonings, prostitutions, thefts, murders,

²³ All these wicked inside things are going out; and those are contaminating the man."

⁴⁷ on behalf of which, I am saying to you, pardoned are her many sins, for she loves much. Now to whom there is scant pardoning, there is scant loving."

³⁹ Yet the Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees are cleansing the outside of the cup and the platter, yet your inside is brimming with rapacity and wickedness." ⁴⁰ Imprudent ones! Does not He Who makes the outside also make the inside?

¹⁰ Thus, I am saying to you, there is coming to be joy in the sight of the messengers of God over one sinner repenting."

²⁴ for this my son was dead and revives; he was lost and was found.' And they begin to make merry.

¹⁹ Repent, then, and turn about for the erasure of your sins, so that seasons of refreshing should be coming from the face of the Lord,

²¹ For you there is neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is not straight in front of God." ²² Repent, then, from this evil of yours, and beseech the Lord, if, consequently, the notion of your heart will be forgiven you."

²⁰ but first to those in Damascus, besides in Jerusalem also, besides to the entire province of Judea, and to the nations, I reported that they are to be repenting and turning back to God, engaging acts worthy of repentance."

¹⁶ And not as through one act of sinning is the gratuity. For, indeed, the judgment is out of one into condemnation, yet the grace is out of many offenses into a just award." ¹⁷ For if, by the offense of the one, death reigns through the one, much rather, those obtaining the superabundance of grace and the gratuity of righteousness shall be reigning in life through the One, Jesus Christ." ¹⁸ Consequently, then, as it was through one offense for all mankind for condemnation, thus also it is through one just award for all mankind for life's justifying." ¹⁹ For even as, through the disobedience of the one man, the many were constituted sinners, thus also, through the obedience of the One, the many shall be constituted just." ²⁰ Yet law came in by the way, that the offense should be increasing. Yet where sin increases, grace superexceeds, ²¹ that, even as Sin reigns in death, thus Grace also should be reigning through righteousness, for life eonian, through Jesus Christ, our Lord."

⁹ Or are you not aware that the unjust shall not be enjoying the allotment of God's kingdom? Be not deceived. Neither paramours, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor catamites, nor sodomites, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards; no revilers, no extortioners shall be enjoying the allotment of God's kingdom." ¹¹ And some of you were these, but you are bathed off, but you are hallowed, but you were justified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and by the spirit of our God."

⁸ Draw near to God, and He will be drawing near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, double-souled!" ⁹ Be wretched and mourn and lament. Let your laughter be converted into mourning, and joy into dejection." ¹⁰ Be humbled, then, in the Lord's sight, and He shall be exalting you."
