²⁴ You do not buy reed for Me with silver, and with the fat of your sacrifices you do not satiate Me. Yea, you serve Me with your sins; you weary Me with your depravities."

³⁴ Yahweh said to Moses: Take to yourself spices: stacte, murex shell and galbanum, spices with pure frankincense. Component by component shall it be;"

¹⁶ Then the priest will cause them to fume on the altar. It is the bread of the fire offering for a fragrant odor to Yahweh. All the fat shall be for Yahweh.

²⁴ Wherefore avers the Lord Yahweh of hosts, the Sturdy One of Israel, "Woe! I shall be comforted over My foes, and avenged on My enemies."

¹³ And saying is he. "Hear, pray, house of David! A little thing is it for you to tire mortals, that you are tiring even Yahweh, my Elohim?

¹⁰ Yet they rebelled and grieved His holy spirit, and He is turning into their enemy, and He fights against them."

²⁰ Why [is] this to Me? frankincense from Sheba comes, And the sweet cane from a land afar off, Your burnt-offerings [are] not for acceptance, And your sacrifices have not been sweet to Me."

⁹ And remembered Me have your escaped among nations, Whither they have been taken captive, Because I have been broken with their heart that is going a-whoring, That has turned aside from off Me, And with their eyes they are going a-whoring after their idols, And they have been loathsome in their own faces, For the evils that they have done--all their abominations."

⁴³ Because you have not remembered the days of your youth, And do give trouble to Me in all these, Lo, even I also your way at first gave up, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, And I did not this thought for all your abominations."

¹³ Behold, I am pressed under you, just as the cart is pressed by its filling with sheaves."

¹⁴ And cursed be the plotter, when there is a male in his drove, and his vow is on him, yet he is sacrificing what is ruined to Yahweh. For a great King am I, says Yahweh of hosts, and My name is feared among the nations."

¹³ And this which I hate are you doing:to cover the altar of Yahweh with tears, with lamentation and groaning; because I am not facing about to your approach present any more, or taking it with acceptance from your hand." ¹⁴ Yet you say, On what grounds? Because Yahweh testified between you and the wife of your youth, to whom you are treacherous. Yet she is your partner and the wife of your covenant." ¹⁵ And did not He make you one? Yet the rest of the spirit is His. And you say, What! Is one seeking a seed of Elohim? Now you beware in your spirit, for with the wife of your youth you must not be treacherous." ¹⁶ When one hates to send away, says Yahweh, the Elohim of Israel, yet covers wrong by his garment, says Yahweh of hosts, then shall you beware in your spirit and you shall not be treacherous." ¹⁷ You weary Yahweh Elohim with your words. Yet you say, In what way do we weary Him? When you say, All doing evil are good in the eyes of Yahweh, and in them He delights, or, Where is the Elohim of judgment?
