² In that day there will be a coveted vineyard of turbid wine. Respond to it.

¹⁷ then Israel sang this song:Come up, O well! Respond to it;"

⁸ You caused a vine to journey from Egypt; You drove out the nations, and You planted it." ⁹ You cleared out the way before it, So that it rooted its roots and filled the land." ¹⁰ The mountains were covered by its shadow, And the cedars of El by its boughs." ¹¹ It sent its harvest branches unto the Sea, And its young shoots to the Stream." ¹² Why have You breached its stone dikes, So that all who are passing by the way nip off its fruit? ¹³ The boar from the wildwood gorges on it, And the field mammal, it grazes upon it." ¹⁴ O Elohim of hosts, return, I pray; Look down from the heavens and see, And note this vine, ¹⁵ Even the sprig that Your right hand has planted; And watch over the son You have made resolute for Yourself. ¹⁶ It is burned with fire, obliterated; At the rebuke of Your countenance they are perishing." ¹⁷ May Your hand rest on the man of Your right hand, On the son of humanity whom You have made resolute for Yourself." ¹⁸ Then we shall not turn away from You; May You revive us so that we shall call on Your Name. ¹⁹ O Yahweh Elohim of hosts, restore us; Light up Your face so that we may be saved. {Permanent, On the Wine Trough{ "

¹ Singing, pray, to My darling am I, a song of My affection for My vineyard:A vineyard becomes My darling's on a horn-like fertile hill, a stone dike am I placing around it, and a rampart I make, ² and it is being cultivated and its stones thrown out. And it is being planted with a yellow muscat. And I am building a tower in its midst, and, moreover, a wine vat I hew in it, and I am expecting it to yield grapes, yet it is yielding stinking fruit? ³ And now, dweller of Jerusalem, and man of Judah, judge, pray, between Me and My vineyard, ⁴ what is there to do further for My vineyard, that I have not done for it? For what reason, when I expect it to yield grapes, yet it is yielding stinking fruit? ⁵ And now, pray, I shall make known to you what I will do to My vineyard:I will take away its hedge, and it comes to be consumed. I breach its stone dike, and it comes to be tramped." ⁶ And I am making My vineyard into a chaos, and it is not being pruned. And not being hoed, and up come buckthorn and spines. And I am instructing the thick clouds over it to keep from raining rain on it." ⁷ For the vineyard of Yahweh of hosts is the house of Israel, and each man of Judah His plant delectable. And He is expecting judgment, and behold! Transgression! Righteousness, and behold! A cry!"

²¹ And I planted you a choice vine, wholly a true seed, And how have you been turned to Me, To the degenerate shoots of a strange vine?

³³ Another parable hear: A man who was a householder plants a vineyard and places a stone dike about it, and excavates a trough in it, and builds a tower, and leased it to farmers, and travels." ³⁴ Now when the season of the fruits draws near, he dispatches his slaves to the farmers to be getting his fruits." ³⁵ And the farmers, taking his slaves, indeed, lash one, yet kill one, yet pelt one with stones." ³⁶ Again he dispatches other slaves, more than the first. And they do to them similarly." ³⁷ Yet subsequently he dispatches to them his son, saying, 'They will be respecting my son.'" ³⁸ Yet the farmers, perceiving the son, said among themselves, 'This is the enjoyer of the allotment. Hither! We should be killing him and have the enjoyment of his allotment.'" ³⁹ And taking him they cast him out of the vineyard and kill him. ⁴⁰ Whenever, then, the lord of the vineyard may be coming, what will he be doing to those farmers? ⁴¹ They are saying to Him, "Evil men! Evilly will he be destroying them, and the vineyard will he be leasing to other farmers, who will be rendering the fruits to him in their seasons." ⁴² Jesus is saying to them, "Did you never read in the scriptures, 'The stone which is rejected by the builders, This came to be for the head of the corner. From the Lord came this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'? ⁴³ Therefore am I saying to you that the kingdom of God shall be taken away from you and shall be given to a nation producing its fruits. ⁴⁴ And he who is falling on this stone shall be shattered, yet on whomever it should be falling, it will be scattering him like chaff." ⁴⁵ And the chief priests and the Pharisees, hearing His parables, know that He is saying this concerning them." ⁴⁶ And, seeking to hold Him, they were afraid of the throngs, since they had Him for a prophet."

⁹ Now He begins to be telling to the people this parable, "A certain man plants a vineyard and leased it to farmers, and travels a considerable time." ¹⁰ And in season he dispatches to the farmers a slave, that they shall give him of the fruit of the vineyard. Yet the farmers, lashing him, send him away empty." ¹¹ And, in addition, he sent a different slave. Yet that one also, lashing and dishonoring, those men send away empty." ¹² And, in addition, he sent a third. Yet wounding this one also, those men cast him out." ¹³ Now the lord of the vineyard said, 'What shall I be doing? I shall be sending my son, the beloved. Him they will be respecting equally with me.'" ¹⁴ Now on perceiving him, the farmers reasoned with one another, saying, 'This is the enjoyer of the allotment. Hither! We should be killing him, that the enjoyer of the allotment may become ours.'" ¹⁵ And, casting him outside of the vineyard, they kill him. What, then, will the lord of the vineyard be doing to them? ¹⁶ He will be coming and destroying these farmers and will be giving the vineyard to others.Now those hearing say, "May it not be coming to that!" ¹⁷ Yet He, looking at them, said, "What, then, is this that is written, 'The stone which is rejected by the builders, This came to be for the head of the corner'? ¹⁸ Everyone falling on that stone shall be shattered, yet on whomever it should be falling, it will be scattering him like chaff."
