Ezra 5:11 Cross References - CLV

¹¹ This is the rescript of what they replied to us saying:We are the servants of Him Who is Eloah of the heavens and the earth. And we are rebuilding the House that had been built a huge number of years before this, when a great king of Israel built it and completed it.

¹⁵ and if wrong in your eyes to serve Yahweh--choose for you to-day whom you do serve; --whether the elohims whom your fathers served, which [are] beyond the River, or the elohims of the Amorite in whose land you are dwelling; and I and my house--we serve Yahweh..

¹ And it comes to pass, in the four hundred and eightieth year of the going out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fourth year--in the month of Zif, it [is] the second month--of the reigning of Solomon over Israel, that he builds the house for Yahweh. ² As to the house that king Solomon has built for Yahweh, sixty cubits [is] its length, and twenty its breadth, and thirty cubits its height. ³ As to the porch on the front of the temple of the house, twenty cubits [is] its length on the front of the breadth of the house; ten by the cubit [is] its breadth on the front of the house;" ⁴ and he makes for the house windows of narrow lights. ⁵ And he builds against the wall of the house a couch round about, [even] the walls of the house round about, of the temple and of the oracle, and makes sides round about. ⁶ The low couch, five by the cubit [is] its breadth; and the middle, six by the cubit [is] its breadth; and the third, seven by the cubit [is] its breadth, for withdrawings he has put to the house round about, without--not to lay hold on the walls of the house. ⁷ And the house, in its being built, of perfect stone brought [thither] has been built, and hammer, and the axe--any instrument of iron--was not heard in the house, in its being built.

¹ And Solomon begins to build the house of Yahweh, in Jerusalem, in the mount of Moriah, where He appeared to David his father, in the place that David had prepared, in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite, ² and he begins to build in the second [day], in the second month, in the fourth year of his reign. ³ And [in] these has Solomon been instructed to build the house of Elohim:The length [in] cubits by the former measure [is] sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits. ⁴ As to the porch that [is] on the front, the length [is] by the front of the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height a hundred and twenty, and he overlays it within with pure gold. ⁵ And the large house he has covered with fir-trees, and he does cover it with good gold, and causes to ascend on it palms and chains,

⁴⁶ I will speak of Your testimonies in front of kings And not be ashamed.

²⁶ Then king Nebuchadnezzar draws near to the door of the glowing flaming furnace and is responding and saying, "Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, servants of Him Who is the Supreme Eloah of Elohim, step out and come hither.Then out are stepping Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego from the midst of the flame."

⁹ And he is saying to them, a Hebrew am I, and I fear Yahweh, the Elohim of the heavens, Who made the sea and the dry land."

³² Everyone, then, who shall be avowing Me in front of men, him will I also be avowing in front of My Father Who is in the heavens."

⁸ Now I am saying to you that everyone whoever shall be avowing Me in front of men, him shall the Son of Mankind also be avowing in front of the messengers of God."

²³ For there stood beside me this night a messenger of God, Whose I am, to Whom I am offering divine service also,

¹⁶ For not ashamed am I of the evangel, for it is God's power for salvation to everyone who is believing - to the Jew first, and to the Greek as well."

¹⁶ Are you not aware that to whom you are presenting yourselves as slaves for obedience, his slaves you are, whom you are obeying, whether of Sin for death, or of Obedience for righteousness?

¹⁴ Now may it not be mine to be boasting, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world."
