²⁸ And it has been to them for an inheritance; I [am] their inheritance:and a possession you do not give to them in Israel; I [am] their possession.

²⁰ Yahweh said to Aaron:In their land you shall not have an allotment, nor shall a portion be yours in their midst. I am your portion and your allotment in the midst of the sons of Israel.

⁹ Therefore Levi came to have no portion or allotment with his brothers. Yahweh, He is his allotment, just as Yahweh your Elohim had spoken concerning him..

¹ There shall be for the priests, the Levites--the entire tribe of Levi--neither portion nor allotment with Israel. They shall eat the fire offerings of Yahweh as their allotment. ² Yet there shall be for them no allotment among their brothers. Yahweh, He is their allotment, just as He had spoken concerning them.

¹⁴ Only, to the tribe of Levi he has not given an inheritance; fire-offerings of Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, is its inheritance, as He has spoken to it.

³³ and to the tribe of Levi Moses gave not an inheritance; Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, Himself [is] their inheritance, as He has spoken to them.

⁴ The holy [portion] of the land it [is]; for priests, ministrants of the sanctuary, it is, who are drawing near to serve Yahweh; and it has been to them a place for houses, and a holy place for a sanctuary."

⁹ The heave-offering that you lift up to Yahweh [is] five and twenty thousand long, and broad ten thousand." ¹⁰ And of these is the holy heave-offering for the priests, northward five and twenty thousand, and westward [in] breadth ten thousand, and eastward [in] breadth ten thousand, and southward [in] length five and twenty thousand:and the sanctuary of Yahweh has been in its midst." ¹¹ For the priests who are sanctified of the sons of Zadok, who have kept My charge, who erred not in the erring of the sons of Israel, as the Levites erred,

² Shepherd the flocklet of God among you, supervising, not of compulsion, but voluntarily, according to God; nor yet avariciously, but eagerly;" ³ nor yet as lording it over the allotments, but becoming models for the flocklet, ⁴ and, when the Chief Shepherd is manifested, you shall be requited with an unfading wreath of glory."
