¹ There has been upon me a hand of Yahweh, and He takes me forth in the Spirit of Yahweh, and does place me in the midst of the valley, and it is full of bones, ² and He causes me to pass over by them, all round about, and lo, very many [are] on the face of the valley, and lo, very dry." ³ And He said unto me, `Son of man, do these bones live?' And I say, `O Lord Yahweh, You--You have known.'" ⁴ And He said unto me, `Prophesy concerning these bones, and you have said unto them:O dry bones, hear a word of Yahweh:" <sup>5</sup> Thus said the Lord Yahweh to these bones:Lo, I am bringing into you a spirit, and you have lived, <sup>6</sup> and I have given on you sinews, and cause flesh to come up upon you, and covered you over with skin, and given in you a spirit, and you have lived, and you have known that I [am] Yahweh.'" <sup>7</sup> And I have prophesied as I have been commanded, and there is a noise, as I am prophesying, and lo, a rushing, and draw near do the bones, bone unto its bone." <sup>8</sup> And I beheld, and lo, on them [are] sinews, and flesh has come up, and cover them does skin over above--and spirit there is none in them." <sup>9</sup> And He said unto me:`Prophesy unto the Spirit, prophesy, son of man, and you have said unto the Spirit:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:From the four winds come in, O Spirit, and breathe on these slain, and they do live.'" ¹⁰ And I have prophesied as He commanded me, and the Spirit comes into them, and they live, and stand on their feet--a very very great force." ¹¹ And He said unto me, `Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; lo, they are saying:Dried up have our bones, And perished has our hope, We have been cut off by ourselves." <sup>12</sup> Therefore, prophesy, and you have said unto them, thus said the Lord Yahweh:Lo, I am opening your graves, And have brought you up out of your graves, O My people, And brought you in unto the land of Israel." <sup>13</sup> And you have known that I [am] Yahweh, In My opening your graves, And in My bringing you up out of your graves, O My people." <sup>14</sup> And I have given My Spirit in you, and you have lived, And I have caused you to rest on your land, And you have known that I Yahweh, I have spoken, and I have done [it], An affirmation of Yahweh.'" <sup>15</sup> And there is a word of Yahweh unto me, saying, <sup>16</sup> `And you, son of man, take to you one stick, and write on it, For Judah, and for the sons of Israel, his companions; and take another stick, and write on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and all the house of Israel, his companions, ¹⁷ and bring them near one unto another, to you, for one stick, and they have become one in your hand." ¹⁸ `And when sons of your people speak unto you, saying, Do you not declare to us what these [are] to you? ¹⁹ Speak unto them, Thus said the Lord Yahweh:Lo, I am taking the stick of Joseph, that [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions, and have given them unto him, with the stick of Judah, and have made them become one stick, and they have been one in My hand." ²⁰ And the sticks on which you write have been in your hand before your eyes, ²¹ and speak you unto them:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:Lo, I am taking the sons of Israel, From among the nations whither they have gone, And have gathered them from round about, And I have brought them in unto their land." ²² And I have made them become one nation in the land, on mountains of Israel, And one king is to them all for king, And they are no more as two nations, Nor are they divided any more into two kingdoms again." ²³ Nor are they defiled any more with their idols, And with their abominations, And with any of their transgressions, And I have saved them out of all their dwellings, In which they have sinned, And I have cleansed them, And they have been to Me for a people, And I--I am to them for Elohim." ²⁴ And My servant David [is] king over them, And one shepherd have they all, And in My judgments they go, And My statutes they keep, and have done them." ²⁵ And they have dwelt on the land that I gave to My servant, to Jacob, In which your fathers have dwelt, And they have dwelt on it, they and their sons, And their son's sons--unto the eon, And David My servant [is] their prince--to the eon." ²⁶ And I have made to them a covenant of peace, A covenant eonian it is with them, And I have placed them, and multiplied them, And placed My sanctuary in their midst--to the eon." ²⁷ And My tabernacle has been over them, And I have been to them for Elohim, And they have been to Me for a people." ²⁸ And known have the nations that I Yahweh am sanctifying Israel, In My sanctuary being in their midst--to the eon!'"

⁷ And forming is Yahweh Elohim the human of soil from the ground, and He is blowing into his nostrils the breath of the living, and becoming is the human a living soul.

² Speak to the sons of Israel and take from them a rod, a rod for the father's house from all their princes by their fathers' house, twelve rods. For each man you shall write his name on his rod. ³ And the name of Aaron shall you write on the rod of Levi, for one rod is for the head of their fathers' house.

⁶ So Moses spoke to the sons of Israel, and all their princes gave a rod to him, a rod for each prince, for each prince, by their fathers' house, twelve rods in all. And the rod of Aaron was in the midst of their rods. ⁷ Moses left the rods before Yahweh in the tent of the testimony. ⁸ It came to be on the morrow that Moses came into the tent of the testimony, and behold, the rod of Aaron of the house of Levi had budded. It brought forth buds and blossomed blossoms and requited with almonds. ⁹ Moses brought forth all the rods from before Yahweh to all the sons of Israel. They saw, and each man took his rod.

¹² The sons of Israel spoke to Moses, saying:Behold, we expire! We perish! All of us perish!" ¹³ Everyone who comes near, yea near to the tabernacle of Yahweh shall die! Should we all come to end by expiring?

⁸ Take the rod and assemble the congregation, you and Aaron your brother; speak to the crag before their eyes, and it will give its water. Thus you will bring forth water for them from the crag and will give drink to the congregation and their livestock.

³⁰ Are they not across the Jordan, behind the sunset road into the country of the Canaanite, who is dwelling in the Aravah toward Gilgal beside the oaks of Moreh?

⁶ You did not eat bread, neither did you drink wine nor intoxicant, so that you might know that I, Yahweh, am your Elohim.

³ Then Yahweh your Elohim will turn back your captivity and show compassion to you; He will return and convene you from all the peoples where Yahweh your Elohim will have scattered you. ⁴ If it comes to be that you should be expelled to the end of the heavens, from there Yahweh your Elohim shall convene you, and from there He shall take you.

⁶ Yahweh your Elohim will circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed so as to love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may stay alive.

²⁹ O that they were wise; they would proceed intelligently in this; they would understand about their latter days!

³⁹ See now that I, I am He, and there is no other elohim besides Me. I Myself put to death, and I keep alive; I have transfixed, and I Myself shall heal, and there is no one who could reclaim from My hand!"

¹ In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, to conclude the word of Yahweh from the mouth of Jeremiah, Yahweh roused the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia so that he caused a notification to pass through all his kingdom, and also in writing, saying, ² Thus speaks Cyrus king of Persia:Yahweh Elohim of the heavens has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He Himself has committed to me to build for Him a House in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

¹⁴ How much less when you complain you are not regarding Him, That adjudication is set before Him, and you are awaiting Him? ¹⁵ And now because He does not visit His anger And does not acknowledge the transgression of humanity,

⁶ I will pour a libation on My King, On Zion, My holy mountain.

¹² Bear admonition lest He should be angry, And you should perish in the way, For His anger shall consume speedily. Happy are all those taking refuge in Him.

¹⁸ You ascend on high, You capture captivity, You apportion gifts among mankind, And also for the stubborn, to tabernacle with Yah Elohim."

²⁰ Our El is an El of grand salvation, And to Yahweh, my Lord, belong the exits from death."

⁸ And it comes to pass, at the completion of Jeremiah's speaking all that Yahweh has commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests, and the prophets, and all the people catch him, saying, You do surely die,

¹⁴ And I have been found of you--an affirmation of Yahweh; and I have turned back [to] your captivity, and have gathered you out of all the nations, and out of all the places whither I have driven you--an affirmation of Yahweh--and I have brought you back unto the place whence I removed you."

³ For, lo, days are coming--an affirmation of Yahweh--and I have turned back [to] the captivity of My people Israel and Judah, said Yahweh, and I have caused them to turn back unto the land that I gave to their fathers, and they do possess it.'"

⁹ And they have served Yahweh their Elohim, And David their king whom I raise up to them." ¹⁰ And you, be not afraid, My servant Jacob, An affirmation of Yahweh, Nor be affrighted, O Israel, For, lo, I am saving you from afar, And your seed from the land of their captivity, And Jacob has turned back and rested, And is quiet, and there is none troubling."

¹⁸ Thus said Yahweh:Lo, I turn back [to] the captivity of the tents of Jacob, And his dwelling places I pity, And the city has been built on its heap, And the palace according to its ordinance remains." ¹⁹ And gone forth from them has thanksgiving, And the voice of playful ones, And I have multiplied them and they are not few, And made them honorable, and they are not small."

¹ At that time, an affirmation of Yahweh, I am for Elohim to all families of Israel, And they--they are to Me for a people."

⁸ Lo, I am bringing them in from the north country, And have gathered them from the sides of the earth, Among them [are] blind and lame, Conceiving and travailing one--together, A great assembly--they turn back hither." ⁹ With weeping they come in, And with supplications I bring them, I cause them to go unto streams of waters, In a right way--they stumble not in it, For I have been to Israel for a father, And Ephraim--My first-born [is] he." ¹⁰ Hear a word of Yahweh, O nations, And declare you among isles afar off, and say:He who is scattering Israel does gather him, And has kept him as a shepherd [does] his flock,

²⁴ And dwelt in Judah have husbandmen, and in all its cities together, And they have journeyed in order."

²⁷ Lo, days are coming, an affirmation of Yahweh, And I have sown the house of Israel, And the house of Judah, With seed of man, and seed of beast."

³³ For this [is] the covenant that I make, With the house of Israel, after those days, An affirmation of Yahweh, I have given My law in their inward part, And on their heart I do write it, And I have been to them for Elohim, And they are to me for a people."

³⁷ Lo, I am gathering them out of all the lands whither I have driven them in Mine anger, and in My fury, and in great wrath, and I have brought them back unto this place, and have caused them to dwell confidently;" ³⁸ and they have been to Me for a people, and I am to them for Elohim;" ³⁹ and I have given to them one heart, and one way, to fear Me all the days, for good to them, and to their sons after them:"

¹⁴ Lo, days are coming, an affirmation of Yahweh, And I have established the good word That I spoke unto the house of Israel, And concerning the house of Judah." ¹⁵ In those days, and at that time, I cause to shoot up to David a shoot of righteousness, And he has done judgment and righteousness in the earth." ¹⁶ In those days is Judah saved, And Jerusalem does dwell confidently, And this [is] he whom Yahweh proclaims to her:`Our Righteousness.'" <sup>17</sup> For thus said Yahweh:`Not cut off to David is one sitting on the throne of the house of Israel,

²⁴ `Have you not considered what this people have spoken, saying:The two families on which Yahweh fixed, He does reject them, And my people they despise--So that they are no more a people before them!" ²⁵ Thus said Yahweh:If My covenant [is] not daily and nightly, The statutes of heaven and earth I have not appointed--" ²⁶ Also the seed of Jacob, and David My servant, I reject, Against taking from his seed rulers For the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, For I turn back [to] their captivity, and have pitied them.'"

⁴ In those days, and at that time, An affirmation of Yahweh, Come in do sons of Israel, They and sons of Judah together, Going on and weeping they go, And Yahweh their Elohim they seek."

¹⁹ And I have brought back Israel unto his habitation, And he has fed on Carmel, and on Bashan. And in mount Ephraim, and on Gilead is his soul satisfied."

⁵⁴ Waters float over my head; I say:I am severed;

³ has the word of Yahweh certainly been unto Ezekiel son of Buzi the priest, in the land of the Chaldeans, by the river Chebar, and there is on him there a hand of Yahweh."

¹⁴ And a spirit has lifted me up, and does take me away, and I go bitterly, in the heat of my spirit, and the hand of Yahweh on me [is] strong."

²² And there is on me there a hand of Yahweh, and He said to me, `Rise, go forth to the valley, and there I do speak with you.'"

⁷ And fallen has the wounded in your midst, And you have known that I [am] Yahweh."

¹³ And you have known that I [am] Yahweh, In their wounded being in the midst of their idols, Round about their altars, On every high hill, on all tops of mountains, And under every green tree, and under every thick oak, The place where they gave sweet fragrance to all their idols."

⁴ And no pity on you has Mine eye, nor do I spare, For your ways against you I do set, And your abominations are in your midst, And you have known that I [am] Yahweh."

³ And He puts forth a form of a hand, and takes me by a lock of my head, and lift me up does a spirit between the earth and the heavens, and it brings me in to Jerusalem in visions of Elohim, unto the opening of the inner gate that is facing the north, where [is] the seat of the figure of jealousy that is making jealous,

¹⁰ By the sword you do fall, On the border of Israel I do judge you, And you have known that I [am] Yahweh."

¹² And you have known that I [am] Yahweh, For in My statutes you have not walked, And My Judgments you have not done, And according to the judgments of the nations Who are round about you--you have done!'"

¹⁶ it [is] ours, the land has been given for an inheritance; therefore say:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:Because I put them afar off among nations, And because I scattered them through lands, I also am to them for a little sanctuary, In lands whither they have gone in."

¹⁹ And I have given to them one heart, And a new spirit I do give in your midst, And I have turned the heart of stone out of their flesh, And I have given to them a heart of flesh." ²⁰ So that in My statutes they walk, And My judgments they keep, and have done them, And they have been to me for a people, And I am to them for Elohim."

³ And you, son of man, make to you vessels of removal, and remove by day before their eyes, and you have removed from your place unto another place before their eyes, it may be they consider, for a rebellious house they [are]."

⁹ `Son of man, have they not said unto you--the house of Israel--the rebellious house--What are you doing?

¹¹ so that the house of Israel do not wander any more from after Me, nor are defiled any more with all their transgressions, and they have been to Me for a people, and I am to them for Elohim--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh.'"

⁶² And I--I have established My covenant with you, And you have known that I [am] Yahweh."

¹² `Say, I pray you, to the rebellious house, Have you not known what these [are]? Say, Lo, come has the king of Babylon to Jerusalem, And he takes its king, and its princes, And brings them to himself to Babylon."

²⁴ And known have all trees of the field That I, Yahweh, have made low the high tree, I have set on high the low tree, I have dried up the moist tree, And I have caused the dry tree to flourish, I, Yahweh, have spoken, and have done [it]!'"

¹² And also My sabbaths I have given to them, To be for a sign between Me and them, To know that I [am] Yahweh their sanctifier."

³⁸ And cleared out from you the rebels, And them transgressing against Me, From the land of their sojournings I bring them out, And unto the land of Israel they come not, And you have known that I [am] Yahweh."

⁴³ And you have remembered there your ways, And all your doings, In which you have been defiled, And you have been loathsome in your own faces, For all your evils that you have done."

⁴⁹ And I say, `Ah, Lord Yahweh, They are saying of me, Is he not using similes?

¹⁴ Does your heart stand--are your hands strong, For the days that I am dealing with you? I, Yahweh, have spoken and have done [it]."

²² and you have said:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:Lo, I [am] against you, O Zidon, And I have been honored in your midst, And they have known that I [am] Yahweh, In My doing in her judgments, And I have been sanctified in her." ²³ And I have sent into her pestilence, And blood into her out-places, The wounded has been judged in her midst, By the sword upon her round about, And they have known that I [am] Yahweh." ²⁴ And there is no more to the house of Israel A pricking brier, and paining thorn, Of all round about them--despising them, And they have known that I [am] the Lord Yahweh." ²⁵ Thus said the Lord Yahweh:In My gathering the house of Israel, Out of the peoples among whom they were scattered, I have been sanctified in them, Before the eyes of the nations, And they have dwelt on their ground, That I gave to My servant, to Jacob,

²² And the hand of Yahweh has been unto me in the evening, before the coming in of the escaped one, and He opens my mouth till the coming in unto me in the morning, and opened is my mouth, and I have not been silent again."

¹³ And brought them out from the peoples, And have gathered them from the lands, And brought them unto their own ground, And have fed them on mountains of Israel, By streams, and by all dwellings of the land."

²³ And have raised up over them one shepherd, And he has fed them--my servant David, He does feed them, and he is their shepherd, ²⁴ And I, Yahweh, I am their Elohim, And My servant David prince in their midst, I, Yahweh, have spoken." ²⁵ And I have made for them a covenant of peace, And caused evil beasts to cease out of the land, And they have dwelt in a wilderness confidently, And they have slept in forests."

²⁷ And given has the tree of the field its fruit, And the land does give her increase, And they have been on their land confident, And they have known that I [am] Yahweh, In My breaking the bands of their yoke, And I have delivered them from the hand of those laying service on them."

⁹ Desolations eonian I make you, And your cities do not return, And you have known that I [am] Yahweh."

¹² And you have known that I--Yahweh, I have heard all your despisings that you have spoken Against mountains of Israel, saying:A desolation, to us they were given for food."

¹⁵ According to your joy at the inheritance of the house of Israel because of desolation, So I do to you--a desolation you are, O mount Seir, and all Edom--all of it, And they have known that I [am] Yahweh!"

³⁶ And known have the nations who are left round about you, That I Yahweh have built the thrown down, I have planted the desolated:I Yahweh have spoken, and I have done [it]." ³⁷ Thus said the Lord Yahweh:Yet this I am required, By the house of Israel to do to them, I multiply them as a flock of men,

¹ There has been upon me a hand of Yahweh, and He takes me forth in the Spirit of Yahweh, and does place me in the midst of the valley, and it is full of bones, ² and He causes me to pass over by them, all round about, and lo, very many [are] on the face of the valley, and lo, very dry." ³ And He said unto me, `Son of man, do these bones live?' And I say, `O Lord Yahweh, You--You have known.'" ⁴ And He said unto me, `Prophesy concerning these bones, and you have said unto them:O dry bones, hear a word of Yahweh:" ⁵ Thus said the Lord Yahweh to these bones:Lo, I am bringing into you a spirit, and you have lived,

⁶ And I have sent a fire against Magog, And against the confident inhabitants of the isles, And they have known that I [am] Yahweh." ⁷ And My holy name I make known in the midst of My people Israel, And I pollute not My holy name any more, And known have the nations that I, Yahweh, the Holy One, [am] in Israel."

²² And known have the house of Israel that I [am] Yahweh their Elohim, From that day and henceforth." ²³ And known have the nations that for their iniquity, Removed have the house of Israel, Because they have trespassed against Me, And I do hide My face from them, And give them into the hand of their adversaries, And they fall by sword--all of them."

²⁵ Therefore, thus said the Lord Yahweh:Now do I bring back the captivity of Jacob, And I have pitied all the house of Israel, And have been zealous for My holy name."

²⁷ In My bringing them back from the peoples, I have assembled them from the lands of their enemies, And I have been sanctified in them before the eyes of the many nations, ²⁸ And they have known that I [am] Yahweh their Elohim, In My removing them unto the nations, And I have gathered them unto their land, And I leave none of them any more there." ²⁹ And I hide not any more My face from them, In that I have poured out My spirit on the house of Israel, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh!'"

¹ And in your causing the land to fall in inheritance, you lift up a heave-offering to Yahweh, a holy [portion] of the land:the length--five and twenty thousand [is] the length, and the breadth ten thousand; it [is] holy in all its border round about." ² There is of this for the sanctuary five hundred by five hundred, square, round about; and fifty cubits of suburb [is] to it round about." ³ And by this measure you do measure:the length [is] five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand:and in it is the sanctuary, the holy of holies." ⁴ The holy [portion] of the land it [is]; for priests, ministrants of the sanctuary, it is, who are drawing near to serve Yahweh; and it has been to them a place for houses, and a holy place for a sanctuary." ⁵ `And of the five and twenty thousand of length, and of the ten thousand of breadth, there is to the Levites, ministrants of the house, for them--for a possession--twenty chambers." <sup>6</sup> `And of the possession of the city you give five thousand of breadth, and of length five and twenty thousand, over-against the heave-offering of the holy [portion]:to all the house of Israel it is."

⁴⁴ In their days, that is, of these kings, the Eloah of the heavens will set up a kingdom that for the eons shall not come to harm. His kingdom shall not be left to another people. It will pulverize and terminate all these kingdoms, and it shall be confirmed for the eons." ⁴⁵ Forasmuch as you perceived that a stone severs itself from a mountain range, that is, not by hands, and it pulverizes the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great Eloah makes known to the king what shall occur after this. Certain is the dream and faithful its interpretation."

¹⁰ Yet the number of the sons of Israel shall become as the sand of the sea, which is not being measured nor numbered. And it comes to be in the place in which it was being said to them, Not My people are you, there shall it be said to them, sons of the living El." ¹¹ And the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel shall be convened together. And they shall place one head over them, and they shall go up from the land, for great is the day of Jezreel."

And bow and sword and battle will I break away from the earth, and I will cause them to lie down trustingly." ¹⁹ And I will betroth you to Me for the eon, and I will betroth you to Me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in kindness, and in compassions." ²⁰ And I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness; then you shall know that I am Yahweh. ²¹ And it comes in that day that I will respond, (averring is Yahweh). I will respond with the heavens, and they will respond with the earth, ²² and the earth shall respond with the grain and the grape juice and the clarified oil, and they shall respond with Jezreel." ²³ Then I sow her to Myself in the land, and I have compassion on Lo-ruhamah. And I say to Lo-ammi, My people are you! And he is saying, Yahweh, my Elohim are You."

And My people shall not be ashamed for the eon." ²⁸ And it comes afterward, I shall pour out My spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your elders shall dream dreams, your chosen ones shall see visions." ²⁹ And, moreover, on the servants and on the maids in those days shall I pour out My spirit."

¹⁷ And you shall know that I am Yahweh, your Elohim, tabernacling in Zion, My holy mountain. And Jerusalem shall come to be a holy city, and aliens shall pass in her no longer."

²⁰ And Judah shall dwell for the eon, and Jerusalem for generation after generation."

¹⁴ And I will reverse the captivity of My people Israel, and they shall build the desolated cities and dwell in them. And there shall not be a survivor for the house of Esau, for Yahweh speaks." ¹⁹ And they of the south rim shall tenant mount Esau, and they of the lowland, the Philistines, and they shall tenant the field of Ephraim, and the field of Samaria, and Benjamin shall tenant Gilead." ²⁰ And the deportation, these valorous of the sons of Israel, shall tenant the land which is the Canaanites' unto Zarephas, and the deportation of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall tenant the cities of the south rim." ²¹ And saviours shall come up in mount Zion, to judge mount Esau. And the kingdom shall become Yahweh's."

² And you, Bethlehem Ephratah, inferior to be among the mentors of Judah, from you shall One fare forth for Me to become the Ruler in Israel; yet His farings forth are from aforetime, from days eonian."

⁴ And He stands and shepherds His flock in the strength of Yahweh, in the pomp of the name of Yahweh, His Elohim. And they shall dwell, for now shall He be great unto the limits of the land."

² Hear, you mountains, the contention of Yahweh, and you perennial foundations of the earth. For a contention has Yahweh with His people, and with Israel will He plead."

¹¹ A day to build your stone dikes comes; in that day the delineating limit shall be put far off. ¹² In that day also, unto you shall they come from Assyria and the cities of lower Egypt, and from Tyre and unto the stream, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain."

¹⁴ Shepherd Your people with Your club, the flock of Your allotment, tabernacling solitary in the wildwood in the midst of Carmel. They shall graze in Bashan and Gilead as in the days of the eon."

⁹ For then I will turn a pure lip to the peoples, for them all to call on the name of Yahweh, to serve Him with one shoulder-blade."

⁴ Thus says Yahweh of hosts:Old men and old women shall yet sit in the squares of Jerusalem, and each man with his staff in his hand because of many days;" ⁵ and the squares of the city shall be filled with boys and girls sporting in its squares.

⁶ And I will give mastery to the house of Judah, and the house of Joseph will I save. And I will cause them to dwell, for I have compassion on them, and they shall come to be as if I had not cast them off; for I am Yahweh their Elohim, and I will respond to them."

¹⁰ Yet I pour out on the house of David, and on the dwellers of Jerusalem, a spirit of grace and supplications; and they look to Him Whom they stabbed, and they will wail over Him as the wailing over the only son, and they will be embittered over Him as the embittering over the firstborn."

⁷ O sword! rouse against My Shepherd, and against the Master, My Companion, (averring is Yahweh of hosts). Smite the Shepherd, and the flock is scattering. And I restore My hand on the inferior shepherds."

⁹ And I will bring the third into the fire. And I will refine them as silver is refined. And I will test them as gold is tested. It shall call in My name, and I will answer it. I will say, My people is it. And it will say, Yahweh is my Elohim."

⁸ The blast is blowing where it wills, and the sound of it you are hearing, but you are not aware whence it is coming and where it is going. Thus is everyone who is begotten by the water and the spirit."

⁵ Jesus, then, lifting up His eyes and gazing - for a vast throng is coming toward Him - is saying to Philip, "Whence should we be buying bread that these may be eating? ⁶ Now this He said to try him, for He was aware what He was about to be doing."

³⁴ The throng, then, answered Him, "We hear out of the law that the Christ is remaining for the eon, and how are you saying that the Son of Mankind must be exalted? Who is this Son of Mankind?

Now the chief priest and those with him, coming along, call together the Sanhedrin and the entire senate of the sons of Israel, and they dispatch to the prison to have them led forth." ²² Yet the deputies, coming along, did not find them in the jail. Now turning back, they report, ²³ saying that, "The prison we found locked with all security and the guards standing at the doors. Yet, when opening them, we found no one within." ²⁴ Now as they hear these words, both the officer of the sanctuary and the chief priests were bewildered concerning them, as to whatever may come of this." ²⁵ Now someone, coming along, reports to them that "Lo! the men whom you placed in the jail are in the sanctuary, standing and teaching the people." ²⁶ Then the officer, together with the deputies, coming forth, led them, but not with violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned." ²⁷ Now, leading them, they stand them in the Sanhedrin. And the chief priest inquires of them, ²⁸ saying, "Do we not charge you with a charge not to be teaching in this Name? And lo! you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and are intending to bring on us the blood of this man." ²⁹ Yet answering, Peter and the apostles say, "One must yield to God rather than to men."

³⁹ Now when they stepped up out of the water, the spirit of the Lord snatches away Philip, and the eunuch did not perceive him any longer, for he went his way rejoicing."

⁸ Why is it being judged unbelievable by you, if God is rousing the dead?

¹⁷ according as it is written that, A father of many nations have I appointed you - facing which, he believes it of the God Who is vivifying the dead and calling what is not as if it were -"

² for the spirit's law of life in Christ Jesus frees you from the law of sin and death.

²⁶ And thus all Israel shall be saved, according as it is written, Arriving out of Zion shall be the Rescuer. He will be turning away irreverence from Jacob."

³⁰ Yet you, of Him, are in Christ Jesus, Who became to us wisdom from God, besides righteousness and holiness and deliverance,

² Now I am applauding you that you remember all of mine, and are retaining the traditions according as I give them over to you."

⁴ one body and one spirit, according as you were called also with one expectation of your calling;" ⁵ one Lord, one faith, one baptism, ⁶ one God and Father of all, Who is over all and through all and in all."

²³ Now may the God of peace Himself be hallowing you wholly; and may your unimpaired spirit and soul and body be kept blameless in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ!

This is the former resurrection.
