⁹ Desolations eonian I make you, And your cities do not return, And you have known that I [am] Yahweh."

¹³ For, by Myself, I have sworn, An affirmation of Yahweh, That for a desolation, for a reproach, For a waste, and for a reviling--is Bozrah, And all her cities are for wastes eonian."

¹⁷ And Edom has been for a desolation, Every passer by her is astonished, And does hiss because of all her plagues." ¹⁸ As the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, And its neighbors, said Yahweh, No one does dwell there, Nor sojourn in her does a son of man."

⁷ And fallen has the wounded in your midst, And you have known that I [am] Yahweh."

⁴ And no pity on you has Mine eye, nor do I spare, For your ways against you I do set, And your abominations are in your midst, And you have known that I [am] Yahweh."

⁹ And not pity does Mine eye, nor do I spare, According to your ways unto you I give, And your abominations are in your midst, And you have known that I [am] Yahweh the smiter."

¹³ Therefore, thus said the Lord Yahweh:I have stretched out My hand against Edom, And I have cut off from it man and beast, And given it up--a waste, from Teman even to Dedan, By sword they do fall."

⁴ Your cities a waste I make, and you are a desolation, And you have known that I [am] Yahweh."

¹¹ And I have multiplied on you man and beast, And they have multiplied and been fruitful, And I have caused you to dwell according to your former states, And I have done better than at your beginnings, And you have known that I [am] Yahweh."

⁹ Therefore, Living am I, (averring is Yahweh of hosts, the Elohim of Israel), for:Moab shall become as Sodom, and the sons of Ammon as Gomorrah:A tenancy of prickly acanthus, and salt diggings, and a desolation till the eon. The remnant of My people shall plunder them, and the rest of My nation shall allot them."

³ yet Esau I hate. And I will make his mountains a desolation, and his allotment is for the jackals of the wilderness." ⁴ Though Edom shall say, We are destitute, yet we will return and will build the deserted places, thus says Yahweh of hosts:They will build, yet I will demolish. And they will call them Boundary of wickedness and The people whom Yahweh menaces till the eon."
