³⁰ Yet should Yahweh create an unprecedented creation so that the ground opens wide its mouth, swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they descend alive to the unseen, then you will know that these mortals have spurned Yahweh. ³¹ It came to be as he finished speaking all these words that the ground which was under them was rent, ³² and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with their households and all the humans who were with Korah and all the goods. ³³ So they descended, they and all who belonged to them, alive to the unseen; and the earth covered over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly. ³⁴ Yet all Israel who were around them fled at their voice, for they said:Lest the earth swallow us up.

¹⁷ The wicked shall return to the unseen, All the nations, forgetful of Elohim.

¹⁵ May death lure them away; May they descend to the unseen alive, For evils are among them in their sojourning."

³² The wicked man is tripped up by his evil, Yet the righteous one takes refuge in his integrity."

³¹ And your safeguard becomes tinder, and your contrivance a spark. And the lawless and sinners consume, the two of them together, and there is no quencher."

⁹ The unseen, beneath, is disturbed for you, to meet you at your coming. It rouses for you all the healers, all the he-goats of the earth. It raises from their thrones all the kings of the nations." ¹⁰ All of them are answering and saying to you, "Even you are ill as what we were! To us are you comparable!"

¹⁹ Than whom have you been more pleasant? Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised."

²⁴ There [is] Elam, and all her multitude, Round about [is] her grave, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised unto the earth--the lower parts, Because they gave their terror in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit." ²⁵ In the midst of the wounded they have appointed a bed for her with all her multitude, Round about him [are] her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For their terror was given in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit, In the midst of the pierced he has been put."

²⁷ And they lie not with the mighty, Who are falling of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to sheol with their weapons of war, And they put their swords under their heads, And their iniquities are on their bones, For the terror of the mighty [is] in the land of the living."

²³ And in the unseen, lifting up his eyes, existing in torments, he is seeing Abraham from afar, and Lazarus in his bosom." ²⁴ And he shouting, said, 'Father Abraham, be merciful to me, and send Lazarus that he should be dipping the tip of his finger in water and cooling my tongue, for I am pained in this flame.'"
