⁸ Yet Noah finds grace in the eyes of Yahweh Elohim.

¹ And saying is Yahweh Elohim to Noah, "Come, you and all your household, into the ark, for you I see righteous before Me in this generation.

²⁰ And building is Noah an altar to Yahweh Elohim, and taking is he of every clean beast, and of every clean flyer, and is offering up ascent offerings on the altar. ²¹ And smelling is Yahweh Elohim a restful smell. And saying is Yahweh Elohim to His heart, "Not any more will I slight further the ground for the sake of humanity, for the form of the human heart is evil from its youth. Neither again will I smite further all living flesh, as I have done.

¹ There was a man in the country of Uz. Job was his name. And this man was flawless and upright, fearing Elohim and withdrawing from evil.

⁵ And it came to be when the feast days were concluded, that Job would send and have them hallowed. He would rise early in the morning and offer up ascent offerings in number as them all. For Job said, Perhaps my sons have sinned and have scorned Elohim in their heart. Thus Job was doing for all these days.

⁸ Now take for yourselves seven bullocks and seven rams. Go to my servant Job, and offer up an ascent offering on behalf of yourselves. And Job, my servant, he shall pray for you. For then I shall lift up his face by not inflicting on you any disgrace. For you did not speak concerning Me what is rightly so as My servant Job has done. ⁹ So they went, Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite, and they did just as Yahweh had spoken to them. And Yahweh lifted up Job's face.

⁴ Wealth is no benefit in the day of rage, Yet righteousness shall rescue from death."

¹⁶ And you do not pray for this people, Nor lift up for them crying and prayer, Nor intercede with Me, for I hear you not."

¹⁴ And you, you do not pray for this people, Nor do you lift up for them cry and prayer, For I do not hearken in the time of their calling unto Me for their vexation."

¹¹ And Yahweh said unto me:You do not pray for this people for good, ¹² When they fast, I hearken not unto their cry, And when they cause to ascend burnt-offering and present, I accept them not, For by sword, and by famine, And by pestilence, I am consuming them."

¹ And Yahweh said unto me:Though Moses and Samuel should stand before Me, My soul is not toward this people, Send from before My face, and they go out."

¹⁶ these three men in its midst:I live--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh--neither sons nor daughters do they deliver; they alone are delivered, and the land is a desolation."

¹⁸ and these three men in its midst:I live--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh--they deliver not sons and daughters, for they alone are delivered."

²⁰ and Noah, Daniel, and Job, in its midst:I live--an affirmation of the Lord Yahweh--neither son nor daughter do they deliver; they, by their righteousness, deliver their own soul."

²⁰ The soul that does sin--it does die. A son does not bear of the iniquity of the father, And a father does not bear of the iniquity of the son, The righteousness of the righteous is on him, And the wickedness of the wicked is on him."

³ Lo, you [are] wiser than Daniel, No hidden thing have they concealed from you."

⁶ Now there are among them (of the sons of Judah) Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah."

²¹ even while I am speaking in my prayer, behold, the man Gabriel, whom I saw in the vision at the start, flying swiftly, is touching me at the time of the evening approach present."

¹¹ Then he is saying to me, "Daniel, man of coveted qualities, understand the words which I am speaking to you and stand upright, for now am I sent to you.And at his speaking with me this word, I stand quivering."

⁷ By faith Noah, being apprized concerning that which is not as yet being observed, being pious, constructs an ark for the salvation of his house, through which he condemns the world, and became an enjoyer of the allotment of the righteousness which accords with faith."

⁹ the Lord is acquainted with the rescue of the devout out of trial, yet is keeping the unjust for chastening in the day of judging,
